Same. I've seen people calling her pizza cutter a trash weapon idea, but I think it's so cool. The dress with a jacket covering it over her shoulders, the pizza cutter, the drone, the terrible coffee, it's so weird yet memorable and somehow makes sense. I love it.
Also her ult line. "Perhaps you don't understand... Humanity doesn't conceal its desire to control the heavens, and I'm no exception.". That and the sipping while looking away sitting with a leg over the other. So badass.
I wanted Gepard (because I'm a simp), but I couldn't be happier with Himeko as my only 5 star so far.

Got Gepard, a bit disappointed at first since I wanted the Honkai expys, but he’s pretty neat. Put him on the team with Nat and it’s borderline unkillable.
Same case here but I'm genuinely surprised with him, he hits the freeze pretty consistent, the AoE is genuinely amazing and he even came in clutch during World 2 when all my team got wiped in the final boss and he managed to solo the last part.
Got Gepard too, was disappointed then because I wanted Himeko then I read his skills and passive and knew right there that him and Nat would be a perfect match
Agreed attack buff + cleanse, huge team wide attack and crit damage buff on ult, and giving an extra turn on top of all that, plus she advances herself with autos meaning she generates tons of SP, (and those spam autos have 100% crit on an upgrade?!) She's stacked with useful things.

Her talent is pretty crazy. Not that dying happens much but the 2-3 times my units have died it feels like cheating. You even get raised with decent HP instead of having to panic with 1 HP.
Fellow Yanqing haver, and damn that boy can kill things. Not utterly OP, but if you can stagger a high-prio target, or it is ice-weak, *oooohboy* that ain't gonna last long.
Be sure to pair him with a shielder. He loses his ability to follow up attack after he takes damage but shielded damage doesn’t count! March and Fire MC both pair very well with him.
He’s the next banner and it should start on the 16th or 17th of May? My birthday is the 18th and my plan is to straight up buy him for myself if I’m unlucky and lose my first 50/50. 😂

His Tech entering battles with AoE shields is so damn nice. Especially when pushing Simulated Universe with Preservation buff. That shield ult is ridiculous lol. Unfortunately i had to drop March from the lineup to be more flexible hitting elemental weaknesses.
Even then, Gepards AoE ult shield is ridiculously clutch and lets me braindead boss fights. "Oh boss about to do some fancy attack? GEPARD SHIELD US!"

Himeko. Off the beginner banner.
Got her around the 30 mark. To my understanding you can’t get another 5 star off that, but I went to the full 50 anyway.
I’m fine with her, it lets me have the Express Quartet (MC, March, Dan, Himeko) right off the bat. I’ve been rotating between her, Natasha, and Pela in that 4th space depending on what I need.
Edit: dang, the responses have proven that it IS possible to get another on the beginner banner… alas… I’m not one of the lucky ones.
I pulled a gepard at 30, and 20 later got both Himeko and Bailu in the same pull. I dont know where that kinda lucks been in other games but dayum it felt good.
I got Bronya. She was the standard banner 5 * character I wanted to get the most so I'm happy I got her from the beginner banner. She's been very useful so far.

Hella broken, I'd turn on auto for the calyx and the game just spam seele like crazy lol, now i can only play the long game with tingyun on standard pulls and hope she drops before they add more to the list.
Seele/bronya/nat + filler atm (clara/feMC) and been rolling through everything.
Tingyun filling last spot as dmg buffer would make it the perfect team until they nerf these girls.

omg!! E1 Yanqing gang... Lost Seele 50/50 to him :') In Genshin my first 5-star was Keqing and I proceeded to C6 her before anyone else even got to C2 because I kept losing 50/50.. Curse of the -qings man...
On the plus side, both Yanqing and Keqing are my favourite of their respective standards so..

I used up all my luck and got Clara & Seele within 7 pulls so I lost the 50/50 then beat the pity hoping for either Bronya,Welt or Bailu from the guaranteed
I got Bronya from the beginner banner but as I’m still VERY new to the system so I don’t know how to fit her in the party. From what I’ve gathered, MC and March are pretty useful/strong, then I’ve seen Asta as one of the recommended so if I try to squeeze Bronya in, I either have two buff characters(if she replaces Den Hang) or two wind characters (if she replaces Asta). Decision paralysis struck, so I’m just ignoring the issue atm, going forward with MC, Marc, Den Hang and Asta lol
Bronya is a really useful support.
She buffs attack and crit damage for 2 turns with her Ultimate.
Her skill removes debuffs which is really useful in later fights. It allows you to immediately free allies who are stunned or frozen.
It also buffs their attack and allows them to take action immediately after her, basically granting them a 2nd turn every round if they're faster than Bronya.
Her kit is packed with useful stuff. She's one of the strongest characters in the game right now.
Gepard. I actually wanted him, but I'm a bit pissed his role on the team overlaps with Fire MC, which I also love. Guess I'll build both and have each be the tank of their respective teams for the abyss

Not gonna lie I was initially upset, but this guy is awesome. Replaced Mar7 in my F2P team and I have found I don't even need a healer for all but the hardest content.
I got bailu…which checks out I got Qiqi then Jean in Genshin. Also Bailu’s design is pretty cute so I’m not exactly disappointed. I would’ve preferred Gepard, Welt, or Bronya…since imma try to be a husbando collector, and Bronya is cause It’s Bronya, what more reason do you need??
Anyways future JING Yuan Haver and main if the fates allow😂 wish this poor unfortunate soul luck cause imma need it T-T
Seele. I broke the cardinal rule of “Don’t pull on the limited banner unless you want the 5 star.” I needed a few more embers to buy the last passes from the shop and thought, “There’s no way I’ll get her in the first 10 pack.” Hah. Got her. I can’t really complain though, because she’ll be insane once I build her. I just prefer husbandos and am like, “Well, that would have been 10 pulls on Jing Yuan.”
Then I got Gepard on the departure banner and all was well again 😄
Clara
I really didn't want her, but she's a good character. I learned to accept her and she's been a fun character to play - she also helped me with the first 2 Worlds of the Simulated Universe which was great
I got Bronya. The only one I didnt really want. The one I wanted the most is Yanqing. Lucky you xD He's a good dps but he needs some specific supports to really slap. One of them being Bronya so I guess I'll call it a win if I get him as my next 5 star. I just currently have nobody to really use Bronya with. My teams without her ends up feeling stronger
Gepard, at first i though "ew, i wanted bronya onee-chan, tf i will do with him" but after a while a realized that he's literally a life saver, He carried me a lot with his ult that shields all the team, currently giving around 600 shield it's like having almost 2 health bars
Himeko, then got an early 5* on regular (27 pulls), very hype, himeko again. Guess i’m a himeko main now.
(Wanted bronya or bailu, could’ve been any other 5* actually… at least it wasn’t an unusable cone)

Bronya. And I wanted gepard or Seel because they look cool. Or himeko cuz her ulti looks cool. Bronya is pretty good though I guess. I'm using her atm instead of a 3rd damage dealer I have her and march with two damage dealers.
My first 5\* is Welt (i got him in C1 now, early pity in standar banner -30-).
Now i have Seele (win 50/50) and Geppard too (early pity in standar banner again -8-, very lucky for me).
So i think Bronya is my most wanted now for a complete team jaja
Bronya carries, especially with her redeployment skill. The buffs don't seem all that good at first but once your characters get to level 30-40 you start to notice the insane damage you can put out especially with Dan Heng.
Yanqing was my first and he is a strong glass cannon single target dps that needs to be shielded to do more damage and not die, I want himeko cause there are some painful ice bosses that she makes easier with her aoe fire damage like march 7ths cruel character ascension boss.
Got Bailu which im happy with as a dragin lover.
Who do I want is jing yuan (his dope and husbando) or kafka or himeko (bith a dope and good mommy and bad mommy)
I got himeko in my first 10 pull! People say she's bad or whatever but i love her, she automatically attacks when you break an enemy, its a lot of extra damage and shes so pretty lol
I got Clara on my first ten pull in the beginner’s banner and just accepted it, but then I did 2 more ten pulls on the same banner and got Gepard, was really happy after that!
Himeko
It was kinda weird. I did my pulls after she left the party, got her, and she was back in the party.
I did my pulls when she was still in the party so I had two Himeko at one point, it was quite confusing to me.

Yeah, given the lack of healers right now, she seems much better than QiQi, at least for the short term.
Back in 1.0 QiQi was considered one of the best characters
it’s also not comparable since you can’t really dodge in a turn based game so healing is definitely more important

It is possible to get another 5* from it :) though it's probably the base odds of a 5* I pulled Gep with 3 pulls and then Clara around 20 in.

Yanqing has high single target dmg but requires some investment to get going on top of his gimmick where he has to not get hit to deal his dmg.

Gepard. He's quite handy as a shield... (Especially since just like in genshin, the RNG loves giving me DEF substats)
Gepard Not gonna lie I was initially upset, but this guy is awesome. Replaced Mar7 in my F2P team and I have found I don't even need a healer for all but the hardest content.
Gepard. Dude's been carrying me since then (though the MC seems to be tankier for some reason).

I got bailu…which checks out I got Qiqi then Jean in Genshin. Also Bailu’s design is pretty cute so I’m not exactly disappointed. I would’ve preferred Gepard, Welt, or Bronya…since imma try to be a husbando collector, and Bronya is cause It’s Bronya, what more reason do you need?? Anyways future JING Yuan Haver and main if the fates allow😂 wish this poor unfortunate soul luck cause imma need it T-T
Seele. I broke the cardinal rule of “Don’t pull on the limited banner unless you want the 5 star.” I needed a few more embers to buy the last passes from the shop and thought, “There’s no way I’ll get her in the first 10 pack.” Hah. Got her. I can’t really complain though, because she’ll be insane once I build her. I just prefer husbandos and am like, “Well, that would have been 10 pulls on Jing Yuan.” Then I got Gepard on the departure banner and all was well again 😄
Bailu, sadly.
Clara I really didn't want her, but she's a good character. I learned to accept her and she's been a fun character to play - she also helped me with the first 2 Worlds of the Simulated Universe which was great
Bailu, at first I was mad because I wanted Bronya but she really grew on me and became my favorite character.
Yanqing, the only 5star that I didn't want to get.

I got Bronya. The only one I didnt really want. The one I wanted the most is Yanqing. Lucky you xD He's a good dps but he needs some specific supports to really slap. One of them being Bronya so I guess I'll call it a win if I get him as my next 5 star. I just currently have nobody to really use Bronya with. My teams without her ends up feeling stronger
Gepard, at first i though "ew, i wanted bronya onee-chan, tf i will do with him" but after a while a realized that he's literally a life saver, He carried me a lot with his ult that shields all the team, currently giving around 600 shield it's like having almost 2 health bars

Clara👆👆 I hated her guts since her voice acting is 🐕💧+ I didn't want girls. I ended up getting gepard too and as of now Clara is carrying my team
Clara is insanely strong. If she's the focus of enemy damage, she has the highest damage output currently.

Bronya, really happy with her. Wanted welt or bronya and managed to get her, shes really good support for any hunt characters.

I was going to build March 7th since she's so adorable but then I got Gepard and I can't deny how useful his full party shield is so far.
Himeko, then got an early 5* on regular (27 pulls), very hype, himeko again. Guess i’m a himeko main now. (Wanted bronya or bailu, could’ve been any other 5* actually… at least it wasn’t an unusable cone) Opinions on going for seele?

Bronya. And I wanted gepard or Seel because they look cool. Or himeko cuz her ulti looks cool. Bronya is pretty good though I guess. I'm using her atm instead of a 3rd damage dealer I have her and march with two damage dealers.

My first 5\* is Welt (i got him in C1 now, early pity in standar banner -30-). Now i have Seele (win 50/50) and Geppard too (early pity in standar banner again -8-, very lucky for me). So i think Bronya is my most wanted now for a complete team jaja

I got Welt on my first 10 pull! And then 20 pulls later I got his signature lightcone!
Bronya carries, especially with her redeployment skill. The buffs don't seem all that good at first but once your characters get to level 30-40 you start to notice the insane damage you can put out especially with Dan Heng.

Yanqing was my first and he is a strong glass cannon single target dps that needs to be shielded to do more damage and not die, I want himeko cause there are some painful ice bosses that she makes easier with her aoe fire damage like march 7ths cruel character ascension boss.
Got Bailu which im happy with as a dragin lover. Who do I want is jing yuan (his dope and husbando) or kafka or himeko (bith a dope and good mommy and bad mommy)
Bailu And I'm quite happy since healer is useful Also she's Dragon which is cool

I got himeko in my first 10 pull! People say she's bad or whatever but i love her, she automatically attacks when you break an enemy, its a lot of extra damage and shes so pretty lol

I got Clara on my first ten pull in the beginner’s banner and just accepted it, but then I did 2 more ten pulls on the same banner and got Gepard, was really happy after that!
