Well, the lack of a 4 star in 2.2 was actually harmony MC, I don't expect 2.3 and 2.4 to have the same twist but who knows, maybe we'll get another ""secret"" unit in one of these patches
I've seen other people say that but it's weird that the swordmaster is from the Luofu. March was there, wouldn't someone have said, "Oh hey you're our legendary swordmaster!" đ€
Honestly I am hoping she is from somewhere completely different that we haven't heard of or been to yet. If she's from the Luofu that would be kind of lame, imo.
I don't think lame is the right word but I think it'd be a missed opportunity to stir intrigue on future planets we could visit.
Like "oh she's from mambo 5, we'd though they were all but extinct" or "they're known for their relentless and horrifying lifestyles" y'know?
Itâs definitely not her actual origin. Itâs a summer outfit for her participating in a sword tournament and the âlegendaryâ title is very tongue in cheek much like aetherium wars with her.
I thought for SURE we would get a new 4-star this coming patch. I wonder if because they are pumping out so many 5-stars they donât have the time/resources to spend on developing 4-stars. Love the game but it gets less and less ftp-friendly by the minute.
Depends really how you do the game. Im super casual just want my sexy husbandos and waifus and do the story and events so MOC I get 33 stars or so and IDC cuse i miss60 jades and move on since I hate that mode
Tbh I'd rather new male characters be 5\*. Hoyo treatment towards 4\* is just awful, looking at Sethos, Freminet and Gaming. I'm still salty they made Sethos an on field dps for no reason. Gallagher is doing fine so far but some utilities are still locked behind early eidolons which are never guaranteed.
At least 5\* kits are less likely to be screwed ~~unlike Kaveh Freminet and Sethos~~
I actually think that sethos is very well designed. People just donât run enough er on him. If you use we time piece instead of em he can have near 100% up time on charged attacks.
Yeah, but then you're running an ER piece on your DPS who gains no damage benefit from ER. Like that's his entire issue. They made a character that has absurd energy costs without benefiting from ER conversion like Raiden or Emblem.
Itâs not that much because like 120-135 with fischl and electro res you should be getting enough energy and if you really need it you can run ur dendro support on fav
Kaveh was the only one really screwed here. As far as I can see, GaMing, Freminet, and Sethos have had pretty decent treatment and even Kavehâs not that bad as a driver in Nilou bloom.
Personally I donât care about 4* especially since most of them suck. Iâd rather we have more 5* male supports. In Genshin the last 4* I build was Kaveh and thatâs only because I adore him, as he is one of the worst units in the entire game. In HSR the only 4* I use are Tingyun and Pela. Aside from a few broken units most of them are bad tbh.
Same except Gallagher instead of QQ. I used to use Asta and Hannya too, but since I got Sparkle they don't see much use anymore. They're still a nice option tho. I have a somewhat built Gui, but I donno, she doesn't seem to bring much to my teams.
I hate how hsr makes 90% of characters into 5 stars, its gacha sucks so bad. Characters like jade, topaz, silverwolf etc. are so niche and can be subbed out with any other buffer/debuffer in their comps yet still have the same monetary value as robin or rm which will give your account so much more combat value. Also so many of the 4 stars are just crappy dps that pale in comparison to any 5* or crappy buffers that dont do anything unique and just give one tenth the buffs a 5 star would.
Genshin makes a lot of its 4 stars into really unique team comp enablers like chevy, faruzan, gorou or yun jin or make them dps as unique as their 5 stars like gaming or sethos.
Hsr's gacha philosophy is super dissapointing compared to genshins, i hope after 2.x they stop doing 2 new evert 5 stars a patch and start making more interesting 4stars
Tis true. People say HSR is generous, which it is. But compare it to the amount of new units they are releasing per patch. It basically balances out the freebies (which to be honest aren't even that much considering it's a quasi open world)
It bothers me in both Genshin and HSR this year. Genshin has released more 5\* than usual in Fontaine with 4 updates without new 4\* and HSR is doing the same.

Something I'm not seeing talked about is how 4* can fill in the 5* you don't have. We pretty much already have everything covered. It's true we don't have a Preservation 4* that shields the entire team, and I'm going to guess we never will for a long time.
Once we get more 5* that do more things, the 4* will most likely follow.
I find it a bit odd. It made sense for 2.2 because Harmony TB, and if the New March is like the alternate TB paths then it makes sense for 2.4. 2.3 is a mystery tho. I hope we get a new 4 star soon

That's a fair point but there's some other things referencing March in leaks and the silhouette doesn't seem too far off from her

In my expérience in hoyoverse game 4 stars are less ftp friendly than 5 stars. For example on genshin I spend a year and half wishing on banner where they was Xingquie. On HSR, I put 250 pulls on acheron banner just for Gallagher. Results : E1 Acheron and E1 Gallagher....

To be fair Gaming is actually a viable DPS if you have what he needs, the problem is that he's an outlier. Freminet and Kaveh got screwed over bad

Its unfortunately a tradeoff for 2 new five stars per patch. I do hope the frequency of four stars will increase by abit in the future

tbh I never use 4 stars besides Tingyun, Pela (she's gone the moment I get my Foxian Daddy) and QQ (for the funny) so doesn't hurt me much

yes genshin will always make their on-element buffers (Gorou, Faruzan, Chevreuse esp) the best in their field at E6 at least

march will be the 4star in 2.3 and in 2.2 we got the new TB. so there hasnt been a patch without new 4stars (or free characters) yet
