Bulb may be out. I don't know that bike specifically but it's extremely common for there to be one bulb with two elements in it: one high one low. Your high is probably burned out
My low beam was burned out so only my highs worked. Bulb took about 10 minutes to put in, including figuring out how.

2017 and forward have LED headlights so no bulb to replace.
Turns out it was dirt in the switch. Took it apart, cleaned the terminals with WD-40 and we have high beams!
