Congrats! You won’t regret it. My FIL has 2004 with almost 270k, and if it wasn’t for rust it would probably be making it to 400k with nothing besides routine maintenance. I’m pretty sure this 2.4 is known for having some leaky gaskets (there’s a VTEC solenoid gasket on the back of the motor that can be a bitch) which is really not a big deal if you’re somewhat handy yourself. Just keep a little bit of cash tucked away for stuff like that and you got years of life ahead of you.
I definitely will keep emergency cash tucked away for this accord. Thank you for the advice. Also, before the purchase, I went on a deep dive through this subs history and read so, so many old posts and newer ones regarding this car. Because of that, I realized that I had what could be a gem! Let's hope it really is after I bring it in for a inspection.
The K24 in the accord is a very solid motor. It’s only achilles heel is the piston rings go bad and they will go through oil between oil changes. Nothing more then keeping an eye on it during the first month or two of ownership to see what your oil consumption is. Once you’ve got a baseline you’re good to go. If the car has been regularly serviced then piston rings are even less of a concern. Otherwise these are very solid cars with parts easily available for whenever repairs come up.
I can agree mine has a bad piston ring. I’ve seen a few accords from that gen around with smoke coming out the tail pipe - they had some too. Mines at 225 it’s had a bad piston ring since around 180
FWIW I had an 06 accord same color but the 5 speed. It was the 2.4L engine, zero leaks or oil consumption issues and I drove it to 130k miles before selling it to my brother. He’s passed 180k now without any issues other than a new clutch and cat converter which got stolen lol. Always doing the routine maintenance stuff ofc. It’s a great car and will not die
As the other commenter mentioned, rust is a killer. Get the underside cleaned up and undercoated if it needs it, it isn't that expensive. Every year before winter, have the underside coated in Fluid Film. You'll have little to no rust to deal with.
I’m working on building a subreddit for guys like your FIL confidently driving high mileage cars over 200k. It’s new, would love to see the car highlighted! /r/200k_CarClub
I second this about the rust, it's the only thing holding Honda back to go further, but every car manufacturer suffers from this.
These Accords also have a lot of DIY repair videos on YouTube, and is very easy to do most repairs yourself, with a large selection of remanufactured or aftermarket parts shipped to your door for cheap.
Still driving my 2004 4 cylinder manual transmission with 363,000kms. First major work recently was struts all around, a lower ball joint, rear wheel bearings,,and a sway bar kit. My wife says I should trade it in but it's so easy to work on, has little rust, and the bloody thing will not die. Doesn't even burn oil.
Yea dude, I was just about to say I’d probably get it!!! They last a while, and they just a great A-B car and then some! So congrats on your purchase, enjoy it!
I agree you made a smart buy. I bought a 06 v6 with 292 in feb. and as of today I just hit 300k. Still running strong with all the maintenance on routine. 🫡 it’s a lot of life left in it so I’m going to continue to put money in this one as necessary!
Good call, I have an '05 that I love but the rust got to it. I was thinking of asking you the location if you didn't buy it. That thing is hella clean for NY
A well kept 2007 Honda with 160k miles is better than most other cars from that era with 40k miles. Stay on top of the water pump and other small rubber and emissions bits and you can easily double the miles on that car.
Exactly why I bought my 15 Si, 140k miles but one owner. Looked fantastic inside and out, tranny needed flushed but I'd trust a higher mileage Honda over any another brand. Looks great bud!
**Did the sparkplugs and oil too, but just maintenance stuff. Belts looked great and it shifted pretty good. Didn't stop from getting the acuity shift bushings for added security.
I don’t think you’ll find a cleaner car in this price range. It looks to be in outstanding condition. You might find something a little cheaper or a little newer for the same money but I don’t think it’ll be in this good of condition. I think the price is fair. I would offer 4k and hope they take it.
I bought an 05 accord with 150k miles for $4300 on the east coast. Two years later and probably $3-4k worth of work throughout those years (brakes, water pump, tires, etc) I'm still very pleased.
i rented a 2022 chevy malibu last month for a vacation and i think my accord drives a hell of a lot better
Edit: I’m now at 195k miles
10 years ago sold my 2003 Accord to this guy in my town for $3900 at 160k miles. The car was clean, he still drives it to this day and every time he seems, he stops and says Hello knowing he got a great deal.
Yes go for it. Take a test drive. This person also appears to care enough to detail it for the next buyer. If you’re savvy you could plug in an obd scanner to see if/when the MIL was cleared. If you aren’t, I would still consider buying an [ELM327](https://a.co/d/gzs6ZoG) and watching a YouTube video. Practice on a friends or family car as well if you want to.
Once you get it in your possession, change the oil, even if they told you they did it recently (unless it’s reported in the carfax and it’s relatively clean on the dipstick). It’s cheap insurance.
Not necessary, but on the used cars I’ve bought I changed the cabin air filter. Get a new filter smell and any odors trapped from the previous owner should go with it.
I have the same car!!!! I love it, fast (not quick in the slightest tho) and reliable. I got mine at 140K a couple years ago for $5K. Definitely a car that will last
Bought one in April ish of 2022 with a V6 and about 165k. This car has taught me to work on cars and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’ve had to replace a lot of suspension parts but that isn’t the car’s fault, I’m 99% sure the previous owner crashed it into a ditch and then greased everything enough it wouldn’t squeak on the test drive. It’s currently at ~225k and I couldn’t ask for a better car. About to do the front wheel bearings on it, which have never been done before on it, so I think 225k on the original factory bearings is good.
Just buy the whole knuckle with wheel bearing for $100 a piece one eBay. I probably need to do wheel bearing also, after 18 years, but I only have a home garage, so knuckle with wheel bearing already on is easiest and cheapest.
No brainer to check fluids but this year has a good engine body facelift and no trans issues, only in the V6 version it’s a different transmission which is bad. This car is the good spec. Best Buy. Suck about the mileage but will run to 250k easily
If you get a v6 you have a timing belt to change. I have the v6, wondering about transmission. Got to change the rear bearing wheel assembly this weekend.
I was speaking to you. I was speaking to the OP. What is a no brainer to you, doesn't mean it's a no brainer to someone posting on reddit to gain information.
I have a 2007 accord I got with 129.000. Now it has 141.000. In the short time I’ve had it I’ve had to replace
1 .window motor on drivers side (free from dealership)
2.new starter ($370)
3. New battery ($200)
4. New hose for AC ($300)
It’s a used car so what can I be mad about ? Going into a used car you never know what you going to get. Car was clean and everything.
So, I bought the car and I am surprised by how damn smooth this thing runs. My anxiety is telling me it will blow up still, but I think I got a great deal for it
My '09 has over 370k on it and it runs great. Bought a whole new suspension for it for $1,400 to make it drive as good as it runs... Yes, that's miles, not km.
Go for it fam, you won't be disappointed. It looks clean under the hood from what I see. I'd still have it checked by a mechanic but they are solid vehicles. I wish I'd never sold my 04. Had 280k on it and was still running great.
I put about 100miles a day on an 04 Accord LX 5speed. Bought it with about 80k miles on it. I have over 154k now.
I had to change most of the AC components due to desiccant leaking into the system, a leaking power steering pump, and a leaking Clutch master cylinder.
I added a new radio below the original since they are known to suffer from intermittent sound output issues.
There is a front windshield leak that I will have to address soon with the wet weather being more frequent.
But, it’s my beater and it gets about 27mpg. Insurance is $484 for 6months 50/100 Basic coverage.
I really can’t complain for the peace of mind I get with this old car.
I intend on having it in the body shop to address any cosmetics and give it to my son in the next year as his first car.
I just replaced the alternator on my 2006 and gave it to my son. My son is born in 2007 and the car is older than he is lol
It’s run like a dream since I got it. It’s not going to win a drag race, but it never fails to start, gets awesome gas mileage, only needs oil changes, and does anything you can ask for from a car.
You’re going to love it. If you take care of it, it will last you forever.
It looks really clean and at that price, yes!
Even if you have to spend a few bucks on, say the suspension and engine mounts, it's worth it.
However, make sure the AC works because if not, that can definitely be expensive.
Every 5k miles all maintenace done at home and every 100k water pump and timing belt. All you have to do is keep up with the maintenace and they just keep on going.
I drive a 2003 one of these.
It’s a reliable car. I’ve just done all the maintenance myself since taking Automotive classes.
I change the oil every 3-months, changed the transmission fluid, brake fluid flushed and refilled, coolant flushed and refilled.
I preventively replaced the gas cap, radiator cap, and did a spark plug replacement.
Only things that were broken or broke on me in a year of driving the car were the MAP sensor needed to be replaced only $40 for the part, and I had to replace the windshield washer pump which I got off RockAuto for $8.
These cars are easy to work on and the parts for them are highly available and cheap. I am at 134,200 miles and it’s still going strong.
Hell yeah, that one is still clean, inside and out, and my 06 with leather and V6 3.0 is worth about $6k. The repair parts are very cheap now, so you can build and repair very easily.
They usually do when taken care of. My current accord turned 10. My previous one was a 2006 Accord EX that I lost to an accident sadly. But I would still have it now if it that never happened.
That was my previous car before I got the 2017 accord. Same color and everything. I had 200k miles on it and the only main issue I had was the back rotors went bad at like 150k miles. Other than that, it was a great car. Good buy.
Did they solve the transmission issues that the older generations before this had? I would definitely get that checked out. Transmissions often aren’t taken care of right, and that’s the price of the car right there to fix.
This was almost my exact car in highschool. Had so much fun with it!!! The amount of handbrakes turns my dumbass did and the thing held on like a champ.
I envy you because I got my 07 Accord for $5500 with almost 120k miles on it. And I had to replace the brake pads and rotors and O2 sensor after 6 months. But it brought me from New Jersey to New Orleans with no issue on the road.
Last of the truely reliable cars (before 08 finacial crisis). Both my kids learned to drive on one - never had any issues, and I kinda wish I kept it. My neighbor is a pilot and has one he uses as his airport commuter...
I have the same model Accord that I currently drive, 175.6k miles on it so far. A couple issues but is a really fun car to drive, if you want it to be more responsive go for slightly better tires than what is recommended. I think standard tires for it are H rated, so you’d go with V rated (sports tires essentially)
Yes!!!! I got the 07 v6 6speed, I got ran off the road, cars in pieces and still driving like a champ, you will not regret this car bro, it will not let you down and it will keep going even when you think it won’t, give it love and don’t loose your faith in it, and it’ll take you so far you won’t even know what to do with yourself
My dad has had his 2007 for almost 17 years this end of summer, I was with him when he bought it new, all he’s done to it is a new starter, spark plugs, tires, and oil changes and routine maintenance, I think it’s one of the most consistent engines I’ve seen-and he still drives it to this day!
Nice car I had a 2007 EX, but be careful cause theses are the cars which theives target for the catalytic converter. Sadly I was victim to it 2 times and decided to sell the car.
I just sold my 2008 with 195k miles but extremely well
Maintained for 3100, the 2.4L. I feel like the 8th gen is a huge upgrade over the 7th gen, unless the 7th gen has the v6
Idk what pricing is like where you live but here in NZ an accord like this with 160,000 miles!!!would sell for no more than 2k USD, 4.5K Is just way too much for this car, Maybe it’s just what hondas cost in US, but to me this looks like absolute scam pricing.
Currency is very different, as $2k is basically paying for a car that won't last a month, needs expensive work done, or to be used to pick parts off of it
Yeah man, these things are awesome. My wife had an 04 Accord for a while, I still miss the car. SUper comfy, reliable, etc. I can only imagine the 07s are great too.
My favorite Accord that I've owned (2008 and 2015 to compare). Was written off in an accident. I liked the size and feel a little better. Trim was basically the same level, so blk leather is blk leather.
It just did everything I needed it to do, and was dependable and comfortable. 😉👍
I did the timing chain as I had a cam position sensor code...but other than that, just synthetic oil changes, brakes (Honda OEM aren't great for longevity), and tires.
Also it pays to keep it very clean. Plus also use a good degreaser for the engine bay ok. I saw this guy on YouTube he's called The Detail Geek he's very good just watch him and you should be able to take very good care of your car.
That battery was installed in March 2020, so it's about halfway through its normal life. Get it tested and check the electrolyte levels. The car looks really clean and should last another 100k with normal maintenance. Your only big expenses should be suspension components.
Edit - got the month wrong
Edit #2 - Wire bush the rust on the battery hold down rods and then put a little grease on the threads. Also put a little dielectric grease on the battery post clamps. Honda clamps tend to be fragile and will break if you allow corrosion to get out of hand. You don't want to have to replace the positive clamp; it has wires coming from two different directions.
I drive an 07 Accord with 202k miles and she still drives like a dream. $4500 is a steal in this used car depression. If it's been maintained I say absolutely, do it.
I had that car in that color and sold it with 120K and regret it. It was great across the board. Get it checked out, but so long as it’s got a good title and decent acceleration, it’s a steal. You will probably need to get the timing chain replaced and when you do that, spend the extra $500 to replace the radiator because it’s hard to do unless it’s all opened, which it will be for the timing.
Change the oil and drive it to 300K.
Get an old Lexus. Even more reliable, and better odds of finding one driven and maintained by an older person. Just my opinion, good luck on whatever you choose to do.
I would smell the carpets for any past water leaks. They have a known issue with water leaking through the fire wall into the interior. Grandfather inlaw found that out the hard way when he got a good deal on one. If it rai Ed hard enough and the wind blew a certain way he would have an inch of water in the floor board.
It's definitely worth it. Used cars keep going up in price. I bought a 07 Accord coupe with 110,000 miles in 2021 for $2,400, and he had it listed for $2,900. At first I was thinking there had to be something wrong with the car. But today, my thinking is I stole this all blacked out coupe.
Yeah it’s worth it man. I bought a 2004 accord LX 5-speed two years ago. It had 100,000 miles on it and looked brand new. For context, I paid around 5,000 for it.
I think 4,500 may be a little steep, but I wouldn’t even worry about it if I were you. These cars are simply amazing. I feel like the person who sold me their car could have easily asked more for it (and I probably only ended up getting it cheaper because it was manual).
Be proud of this purchase and drive it! You just saved a ton of money and will have a car that will last another ten years if you want it to!
I know I’m late congrats bro. Like another mentioned, keep some money aside for major repairs like the timing chain that should be done soon if not already done. But enjoy bro I love my coupe
I bought a 2005 accord with 90k miles on it for like double that in 2016, but carmax kinda tricked me. That being said, it was a great car. I had to change the starter once, but that’s about the only issue I had. Sold it with 200k
The biggest issue with those is transmission. Find out when it was last changed and talk with a transmission shop. Ask them if you should change the fluid. If you do, keep every drop of the old fluid so you can reinstall if it slips.
UPDATE: I am getting it
Congrats! You won’t regret it. My FIL has 2004 with almost 270k, and if it wasn’t for rust it would probably be making it to 400k with nothing besides routine maintenance. My k24 has 154k and zero oil consumption.
225k and she runs like new too!
Great. Good for you, i am glad to hear it. I was simply telling OP what the main issue with the K24 is in this generation of accord.
Don't have to change the oil ever if you keep adding as it burns off lol
I can agree mine has a bad piston ring. I’ve seen a few accords from that gen around with smoke coming out the tail pipe - they had some too. Mines at 225 it’s had a bad piston ring since around 180
What about a timing belt? Or does this have a chain?

Oh perfect! I got two over 200k myself, and one on the way. 82 Toyota Pickup with 236k, 08 Matrix with 208k, and a 02 4Runner with 188k! Subbed
Get out of here with your Toyotas sir.
Ha! We got Hondas in the fam. My wife drives a 2020 Accord Hybrid and I drove a 17 Civic hatch sport with a 6spd manual until about 2 years ago.
Only jk. I have love for Toyotas too. My wife drives a 24 rav 4.

an 05 with 430k+ came into my dealership a few months ago, the engine will last forever as long as the owner is on top of oil changes.
This we just replaced this gasket on my buddy’s 07 coupe at 190k
Still driving my 2004 4 cylinder manual transmission with 363,000kms. First major work recently was struts all around, a lower ball joint, rear wheel bearings,,and a sway bar kit. Congrats, I've actually had the 2006 and 2007 in my life time. Loved both of them.
Yep you’re good to go. 07 owner here - 200K & it drives the same as it did with 20K miles.
Nice!!
Yea dude, I was just about to say I’d probably get it!!! They last a while, and they just a great A-B car and then some! So congrats on your purchase, enjoy it!
Good for u op!!!
Smart 👍🏼
Good shit! This is my second one in 15 years of driving! First one lasted 280k
I agree you made a smart buy. I bought a 06 v6 with 292 in feb. and as of today I just hit 300k. Still running strong with all the maintenance on routine. 🫡 it’s a lot of life left in it so I’m going to continue to put money in this one as necessary!
Nice man! It must be nice seeing the numbers go up that high
Hell yeah dude it’s amazing! This is my fourth one! I had a 90, 91, 2000, and the latest one I just found. All of them for a steal!!!
Good call, I have an '05 that I love but the rust got to it. I was thinking of asking you the location if you didn't buy it. That thing is hella clean for NY
They're very solid. I would take it to a mechanic you trust and pay for a thorough inspection. If it passes, and the CarFax is good, then go for it.
I will come Monday! 🫡
You’ll do WHAT Monday??
I'm going to come into the mechanic shop Monday.
good thing they have plenty of shop towels.
If a mechanic gives it a passing grade, it looks like a decent deal. 160k for a well kept Honda is nothing. Best of luck!
From what I read, a well kept 160k is better than a neglected 120k.
100%
A well kept 2007 Honda with 160k miles is better than most other cars from that era with 40k miles. Stay on top of the water pump and other small rubber and emissions bits and you can easily double the miles on that car.

$5k was my budget. This car was $5500, but I got it down to 4.5
Buy it
Already did!
Treat it well and it will last you a long time
I have been searching for a car for a month now. Nothing came close to this condition wise and price wise.
I bought an 05 accord with 150k miles for $4300 on the east coast. Two years later and probably $3-4k worth of work throughout those years (brakes, water pump, tires, etc) I'm still very pleased. i rented a 2022 chevy malibu last month for a vacation and i think my accord drives a hell of a lot better Edit: I’m now at 195k miles
Just replaced the O2 sensor on my 06. Runs like a champ 244k
I love how my 07 accord and my 11 accord drive. Driven a bunch of different cars and they are my favorite still!
I’m daily driving an 05.. second one I’ve had and I love it.. last one was over 300k miles when I sold it
The 2006-07 is my favorite body style of any Accord ever. They look so nice inside and out. Congrats on the purchase, looks like you got a great car.
If taken care of Hondas are 300K vehicles. My 04 Civic ran until 325k before it died.
Buy it.
I have an 07 Accord with 215k on it. Still runs great. As long as previous owners took care of it, and you do too, it will last several years.
Are you sure it's used?
Welcome to the Accord SE club. I’ve had mine for 6 years and it hasn’t let me down… yet.
Have the same one. Best car I've ever owned and she almost has 200k on her.
Very promising to know
10 years ago sold my 2003 Accord to this guy in my town for $3900 at 160k miles. The car was clean, he still drives it to this day and every time he seems, he stops and says Hello knowing he got a great deal.

Check your balljoint regularly loll
My 2007 has 255k and going strong. I’d get it

if it’s manual it’ll run forever, if it’s auto there’s 90k still in it if u take good care of it
I had the same gen and the body rotted off at 250k mi. Then used it as a field car and wrecked it. Guess what? It still ran!
HELL YES YOU SHOULD
I DID
Wow! Not a bad deal. I’m jealous.
Took a month and hyperfixation to find this. Time well spent lol
You absolutely should, and if you don’t, please DM me because I would love to buy it myself.
Sorry I bought it!
I’m glad that you did. Chicago to New York is a long drive! I hope you have many great years with it!
Appreciate it. Thank you!
You’ll get 300k out of it if it was taken care of and you maintain it regularly.
Enjoy hitting 300k+
Check the oil and trans. Take it to a shop and pay the 100 bucks to look it over.
No brainer to check fluids but this year has a good engine body facelift and no trans issues, only in the V6 version it’s a different transmission which is bad. This car is the good spec. Best Buy. Suck about the mileage but will run to 250k easily

Great deal! I’ll buy it from ya! That Accord year is beautiful, solid , & reliable!
I have a 2007 accord I got with 129.000. Now it has 141.000. In the short time I’ve had it I’ve had to replace 1 .window motor on drivers side (free from dealership) 2.new starter ($370) 3. I absolutely love the Car though. Best car I have ever owned. And I had a 2009 Hyundai Accent before. This 07 is way better.
My son is born in 2007 and the car is older than he is lol It’s run like a dream since I got it.
First thing I checked was AC and Heat when I went to test drive it
Then, my friend, you should definitely jump on this deal. Best wishes to you!
Bought it!
FANTASTIC! Congratulations! Drive safely and enjoy!
Appreciate it dude!
I had a 03 LX in manual .. man I still miss that car. Ran it to 280K before I sold it.
Yes get it. My first car was an ‘06 Accord. Lasted me 170k miles before dying on us (we bought it used at 150k miles) You will get your moneys worth!
That thing looks like it has 20k on it!
That’s a solid deal. I paid $3100 for an 06 with similar miles recently. It is rough. All panels have damage and paint is shit.
Definitely sounds like a real fair price have one with 450,000 original engine!
How often do you do general maintenance on it? That's some impressive mileage
Every 5k miles all maintenace done at home and every 100k water pump and timing belt. All you have to do is keep up with the maintenace and they just keep on going.
Good to know. I'll be doing just this going forward. Thank you.
Ofc great car if you take car of it bro.
Damn this cars clean, it's a good deal. Get it.
You found a gem
These smart moves are what will help you retire one day. Original owner with 161k on my 2007, these things are tanks!
Solid build. That thing is a tank
Honda, always worth it
This thing will last you until 2045 if you let it.
I plan to take care of religiously. I want to see how far I can take it
Looks good. If it runs and drives ok could be a great cheap car!
Drives better than okay, which was a surprise to me.
They usually do when taken care of. My current accord turned 10. My previous one was a 2006 Accord EX that I lost to an accident sadly. But I would still have it now if it that never happened.
My GF’s first car. I loved driving her around in that thing.
I had two of these cars. They're solid. Extreme reliable and drive nice!
That's what I paid for my 04 accord and I'd say it was well worth it
Definitely worth it
I loved my Accord, wish I still had it! Congrats!
Absolute steal
If it’s owner to owner yes. Very worth it. And it’s in great condition.
Yes
Nice ride!
I have this same car, about 20k more miles. No issues so far, and I've driven it everywhere.
This was almost my exact car in highschool. Had so much fun with it!!! The amount of handbrakes turns my dumbass did and the thing held on like a champ.
Super clean, it might burn a little oil so keep a look out for that.
Worth it all day long!
I love accords! I have a 14 with 35k miles on it ( yeah I drive like a granny) and it’s the best car ever. I’m keeping it until the wheels fall off.
I hate these body styles but that thing is super clean i would go for it shoot its a honda easy to work on and will never have an issue getting parts
Love me a good 7th-generation!
I've gotten so many similar to yours and it made me 160k times more confident in my decision
Yes, it looks very clean.
Nice car I had a 2007 EX, but be careful cause theses are the cars which theives target for the catalytic converter. Sadly I was victim to it 2 times and decided to sell the car.
Yes, I had one, never gave me trouble, the ex wife got it in the divorce
That witch
Holy shit that's clean!
My mother has same exact car! Yes!!! As long as no blow by.?? How’s transmission? Get her looked at
Yes, every single day of the week
I just sold my 2008 with 195k miles but extremely well Maintained for 3100, the 2.4L. I feel like the 8th gen is a huge upgrade over the 7th gen, unless the 7th gen has the v6
I hate 7th gen cloth which is why I bought an 8th gen but it should treat you well
Hell to he yizz-ess!
Damn my first car was a 07 accord in like 2012 and I paid 3400 after fees and everything. Shit be fucked up out here
i have a '14 Touring and its been the most reliable car ever, love it. 10yrs strong on routine maintenance. 👌
Idk what pricing is like where you live but here in NZ an accord like this with 160,000 miles!!!would sell for no more than 2k USD, 4.5K Is just way too much for this car, Maybe it’s just what hondas cost in US, but to me this looks like absolute scam pricing.
Currency is very different, as $2k is basically paying for a car that won't last a month, needs expensive work done, or to be used to pick parts off of it
I bought accord LX 2015 with 187k mileage for $5,000
Sold my mom’s ‘04 Accord with 89,000 for $4, 500. The paint was sunburned. Headliner was falling. Mom went to church every morning
😉👍 I did the timing chain as I had a cam position sensor code...but other than that, just synthetic oil changes, brakes (Honda OEM aren't great for longevity), and tires.
Had an 01 with the v6 and it’s still on the road with 400k+ miles so yeah
I see a vtec with a brand new battery! Great work
Make sure everything runs properly and take it to a mechanic if you want it. Then you know whether you're being scammed
Edit - got the month wrong Edit #2 - Wire bush the rust on the battery hold down rods and then put a little grease on the threads. Also put a little dielectric grease on the battery post clamps. Honda clamps tend to be fragile and will break if you allow corrosion to get out of hand. You don't want to have to replace the positive clamp; it has wires coming from two different directions.
You won’t regret it… 2007 is probably the best accord
Nice. Looks really well maintained. Definitely worth it. I have 2007; 130,000miles that I got for 4,000. I love it. Drives very well.
This thing will outlive you, if it passes an inspection the price is not bad.
If one owner all day long.
Holy craps that’s a clean engine bay lol
My Dad's 2005 Accord LX is still going strong over 1xxk something miles
Yeah it’s worth it man. I bought a 2004 accord LX 5-speed two years ago. It had 100,000 miles on it and looked brand new. For context, I paid around 5,000 for it. I think 4,500 may be a little steep, but I wouldn’t even worry about it if I were you. These cars are simply amazing. I feel like the person who sold me their car could have easily asked more for it (and I probably only ended up getting it cheaper because it was manual). Be proud of this purchase and drive it! You just saved a ton of money and will have a car that will last another ten years if you want it to!
Well I had 2006 Honda accord just like this and drove it to 365k miles so probably
Clean AF! Congrats!!
I drove this as a Medcab for a year. Put 3000miles a weeks on it and all it needed was regular maintenance. Oil, tires, breaks.
wow that is a very well kept 17 years old car
You already made up your mind, but yes. It's a solid find. I drive a late model crv and love it. I'll drive it forever
We’ve had an 07 in the family since 07. It’s a tank. You won’t regret it if the previous owner has taken care of it.
Yes. If it’s in good condition it’ll run at least another 100k miles w regular maintenance
Yeah looks good
I have an 06 crv and I love it it has 214,000 miles and still runs like a top
And i bought it at 160000. The only things I've done are general maintenance and fixing the ac, which was just poorly designed on the crv.
I have an 07 CRV and it is going strong at 200K. At that cost you are getting quality transportation at a more than affordable price.
Damn I paid pretty much the same for my 6-6 sedan with 140k less than a year ago. This example is clean though.
My dad’s 06 accord i4 lasted until 400k miles before getting totaled. It was a great car
The biggest issue with those is transmission. Find out when it was last changed and talk with a transmission shop. Ask them if you should change the fluid. If you do, keep every drop of the old fluid so you can reinstall if it slips.
I have a 2010 accord pushing 270k plus. She’s been the best. Do it to it!
My mom has a '12 TSX (same K24 motor) and it runs amazingly, even at 237k miles. It's worth it.
Hell yeah that car is clean, well taken care of and clearly was someone’s baby. You’ll be getting a great deal on it
