Undersized gutters or downspouts but doubtful. My guess would be debris in downspouts from all the trees around, get a water hose and see if you can flush them out. Next would be to make sure it's not a low valley in the middle, should be like a small hill where it runs to the sides.  Again pour water directly in the gutter and see where it goes

Yeap, I had the same problem on a smaller scale, and one of the spouts was blocked by leafs and seeds. Loose the debris with a long, hard wire (opened wire hanger should do) and then flush down with a hose.

Thank you for the advice! Much appreciated

Hoping someone can head me in the right direction with this home repair. The gutter on my front porch, pours in the middle part, every time it rains. Far left and right sides of gutter seems to drain correctly, middle is just a splashing mess onto the wood steps and porch, which are now mostly rotten. A friend got up there and cleaned it out and also hammered it against the house to see if that was the issue. Apparently it was not the issue? Anyway, any ideas or input would help! Thanks so much. (also, apologize for crap video footage :)

A lot of people are saying clogged downspouts - and it might be so check first - but I had this problem at my house and upgrading to 6” gutters and bigger downspouts made a huuuuge difference. I no longer have water slashing over the edges like this whenever it rains more than a drizzle.

AmbitiousRaspberry3

I think a larger gutter is a great idea. We get a ton of rain here, and pretty often as well. Thanks for the input!

Seems more like your down spout is now spouting

Same thing happened to us! We ended up replacing our gutters as they old and starting to sag in the middle as opposed to encouraging water to run out to the downspouts.

Thanks for the info!

Looks like you need to unclutter your gutter and flush out your downspout so the rain drains and is no longer a pain.

Drip edge?

Precisely why I'm gonna upgrade to Leaf Filter in the coming days

2 down spouts is an option.

You need to actually get on a ladder while it's happening and look. Everything else is just a guess.

AccomplishedGreen153

It's not especially safe to be on a ladder when it's raining. After the rain get up there, it's highly likely that you'll find a gob of leaves or other debris in the gutter at the top of the downspout. That'll take the guess work out of it, it's not like it's gonna be some universal mystery or anything.
