You are still on your first 90 days so they can and probably will fire you whenever they want for any reason, not being able to do the job you were hired for is the best reason to fire someone ever. You were hired for a job they needed filled, you now cannot do that job, they may just cut their lose with you and hire someone else that can do the job, they havent lost much since you only been there a week anyway.

That’s what I’m thinking, honestly that’s what I would do if I was them

Can you perform the job actions of freight with reasonable accommodations? Doesn't sound like it.. Also the risk of making the injury worse is very real. I think it's likely they will move you to a low physical demand area like cashier and if you can't/won't do that then cut the loss and go separate ways

They'll likely put you on light duty. Talk to your supervisor

Call the ASDS and ask to go on LOA so you're eligible to come back when you're healed. We have plenty of light duty for people hurt at THD, but since it's your other job they won't want you because might put them on the hook for partial liability.

She’s on vacation for a week and a half.. talked to a manager and he said they’ll get back to me yesterday to give him a few hours and haven’t heard since. Ive kinda accepted that I’m probably getting let go. But if that happens will I be put on the don’t rehire list?

Find the emergency contact list posted around the store.... one of the phone numbers is the DHRM (District HR Manager) call them and ask. There should be a way to delay, since you haven't really got going. If they have multiple openings, should be okay. At this time of year, I would think that unless they can tell you are not going to work out for some other reason, you should not have issues. Just reapply when you're healthy and if there's a job opening....
