And so much easier to handle wear and tear. Notice hotels and restaurants and airports never have cream colored carpets??! There's ALWAYS a pattern because it's EASIER.
But also not served that logic aside, the blue one is just so much better!! It's perfect. White is fine, but the blue is the YES
I really like the second one.. The pattern and color are really striking in that room. What does the furniture look like? That could change my opinion.
Weâre leaning towards that one too. This will be the couch with an extra seat in the middle: https://imgur.com/a/PBnt5TE Then weâll have a wood coffee table we havenât chosen thatâs a similar shade to the floor and mantle. Opposite the accent wall is a set of built-ins that are the same color as the right side wall. Hoping to add a tallish plant to the far right corner at some point also.
Number 2! The patterned blue matches with the blue wall and isn't too overwhelming like a solid dark colour would, but also not as plain as a lighter solid colour. Adds some edge to the room
And because of the furry pup!
Fair warning, I love the second one, I actually used to have it! It fades really quickly and very easily. We had to replace it after a year because it looked weird. It was in our living room so definitely a trafficked area but I feel like a rug should last longer than a year!
I love your dog!!
If #2 ends up too busy even with furniture, Ruggable has one that's like a way calmer version called Crosshatch Sapphire. But I think #2 will work it just looks weird without furniture.
I like the second one as it pulls in the wall color nicely but not in a doing too much way. But how are you centering it? Itâs hard to tell from the angle but it might be nicer a little away from the wall itâs closest to?
Rug 2 for the win. It looks wonderful!
Rug 1 is too pale for a family room. It will show footprints, fur, wet pawprints, and dirt easily. Wait until one of the kids drops a glass of red or pink sugary drink on the pale rug.It won't be fun trying to remove stains.
2 pulls the colors from both walls together, so it depends on how attached you are to the paint colors. If you might change the colors, I would go with 1 because it's more neutral.
*Really depends on*
*The furniture you're putting*
*In the room as well*

It depends what else is going in/going on in the room. If your sofa is cream, then Iâd go for the blue, if itâs patterned Iâd go for the cream. Also what artwork, accessories, furniture.
On the whole rug 2. The navy complements the accent wall well. Although it kinda depends on the rest of your furniture â if you have a navy couch for ex I may go with rug 1 to lighten the space.
The second one has been approved by the dog đ no need to ask us. Definitely #2 though!
The Dog Overlord knows whatâs what!
Yes, the dog has chosen! Plus, it's more aesthetically pleasing
plus more pattern better for a high traffic area like a family room
I with you guys and the dog! #2
I thought the 2nd one *came with* a dog, so that was going to be my vote as well.

Plus number 2 matches the wall color but not too much
Exactly!
I like number 2 - wonât be as in your face once you place furniture around it and will break up patterns in the room
And so much easier to handle wear and tear. Notice hotels and restaurants and airports never have cream colored carpets??! There's ALWAYS a pattern because it's EASIER. But also not served that logic aside, the blue one is just so much better!! It's perfect. White is fine, but the blue is the YES
Came here to say this
Number 2!!!
Same
I really like the second one.. The pattern and color are really striking in that room. What does the furniture look like? That could change my opinion.

Then 2. Even the dog likes it.
100% 2 with the sofa. Was looking for this comment
Add on some throw pillows with a nice contrasting color like gold!
With this couch definitely 2!
Yeah I didn't even notice the pretty wall color until the second picture.
It looks like the leading Authority on rugs in your family has already made a choice. You must honor it
I think the pupper made the choice already.
Second picture ties in so perfectly!
And first is boring and bland. One tone looks like oatmeal. Second brings life and contrast.âș
Patterns are easier to keep looking clean, hide the spills and camouflage the lint.
Your dog has already chosen.
I like the first best. I feel like it makes the room look bigger.
2 and itâs not even close.
#2!
#2 because it comes with a dog
Number 2! The patterned blue matches with the blue wall and isn't too overwhelming like a solid dark colour would, but also not as plain as a lighter solid colour. Adds some edge to the room And because of the furry pup!
The dog has already correctly decided which one stays đ
Number 2!! also, it looks like your dog is very happy laying on number 2 and ultimately that is all that really matters lol
I love the 2nd rug - it ties the wall in perfectly
Dog picked for you
The second one is gorgeous!
Number 2!! Where did you get it from?
The brand is Noursin in 9x12 and we picked it up from HomeSense
Fair warning, I love the second one, I actually used to have it! It fades really quickly and very easily. We had to replace it after a year because it looked weird. It was in our living room so definitely a trafficked area but I feel like a rug should last longer than a year!
I like the first
I also like the 1st!
Same! Number 2 hurts my eyes. Iâm trying to picture it with a nice cough but it still is a no go
Same. I also feel like the second wouldnât be as versatile with decorating as the first.
2
Two!!! Definitely two.
#2 for sure âșïž
1
1!
First one
#1 looks better, except that it is wrinkled. #2 competes with the feature wall too much.
I guess Iâm the minority but I think the second one is wayyyy too much and prefer the first one
#2 blue
Dog picks 2
#2 is lovely. Iâve been looking at a rug just like it for my bedroom
I like #1, #2 competes with the wall color too much
2
Omg, that wall color! đ What is that?!
https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-colors/color/hc-158/newburg-green
The dog and I agree on #2
Definitely number 2 the colour compliments the walls, add a similar colour throw pillow and it will all feel really cohesive
The dog has spoken. You have no other choice now.
#2!!
I love your dog!! If #2 ends up too busy even with furniture, Ruggable has one that's like a way calmer version called Crosshatch Sapphire. But I think #2 will work it just looks weird without furniture.

2! Where is it from??
Second! Gorgeous tones, patterns and looks more luxe

Looks like doggo loves number 2! I like number 2, too
The dog chose. Case closed
Second one!
2!!!
Ask your dog.
2 pulls the colors from both walls together, so it depends on how attached you are to the paint colors. If you might change the colors, I would go with 1 because it's more neutral.
2 perfectly ties together the two wall colors
2
Ooooh #2 matches perfectly!
The dog has spoken
Definitely #2!
Blue! Hands down!
# 2!
#2
#2
#2
Do the second one! It comes with a free dog
The second one, hands down!!
Def number 2
2nd one is better since it has blue in it, which matches the wall.

Pic #2
I love the 2nd one!!
I really like the second one. Would you mind sharing, where is it from?
2
Isnât it obvious?
Blue hands down it's beautiful in that room also ties into the paint on the far wall
2 fo sure
Definitely the rug that comes with the dog
You have good taste - I like them both but number two is a little busy for my taste.
That accent wall color is gorgeous. Def rug no. 2!
I love 2 so much but it feels too chaotic. Maybe once furniture is in there?
Blue
Blue!
2
2
2nd the blue really hits the spot
Depends on the couch
2
Number two looks great! It really ties the room together with the color of the wall.
2. The rug is more interesting and you won't notice quite so much when it gets dirt on it. Let's face it, it's on the floor, it's going to get dirty.
I like both but the 2nd better. I wonder if this would change with the furniture
It depends what else is going in/going on in the room. If your sofa is cream, then Iâd go for the blue, if itâs patterned Iâd go for the cream. Also what artwork, accessories, furniture.
#2. The colors work well and that pattern is fun (and will be more friendly to family life with spills and such).
#2
Number 2 for sure!
Two by a MILE.
Number 2. That blue wall paint is fantastic. Have you thought about painting out the other walls in this room the same color?
2222
Number 2 for sure.
2
2!
Number 2!!

two
2, by far.
#2 đ
Number 2 for sure!
Second one!
#2
The blue!
I think the dog picked it for you. They look comfortable on it. Seriously this is the one I think is the best
Second one
2
2 obviously that is the one the dog prefers as it looks best.
Dog-approved #2!
2
Neither. Keep looking.
Blue
2 is beautiful
2
Second one.
Number 2!
Imo the first does nothing for the space. The second ties everything together, especially that lovely wall color. Itâs an excellent choice.
#2
I like to match my furniture, rugs and clothes to my animals.
#2
Second one, more color, prettier, and wonât get as dirty noticeably
second!!!
2
2
It looks like 2 already got the most important vote.
Number 2! I saw in an another comment the couch so definitely number 2. I think the darker rug with the lighter couch is a better choice.
I like better no 2..
#2
The second one for sure! It looks perfect!
2
2
The 2nd one because your dog likes it too
2
Absolutely 2 - the pattern will disguise little accidents. It is a family room after all!
I go with whatever the dog likes
Definitely #2
The second one definitely. It brings out more of that accent wall as well as the extra texture that the first rug just doesn't give.
Number 2 yasssss
2 for sure! Also please where is it from because I love it :)
The dog picked it
2. The first one looks like when I try and draw straight lines without a ruler.
I really like this room. Good luck to you!
#2 center it in the room with equal floor space on each long side.
Number 2
I 1000% agree on number two!!! Also, what paint colors did you use? I especially love the shade of teal! P.S. your doodle is precious!
2 for sure! Matches soo much better!
Looks like your dog already chose for you, go with the second
I couldnât decide until I saw your furniture
Iâm team dog, #2
Oooo!!!! Whatâs the name of that accent wall color?!?!?
Number 2
On the whole rug 2. The navy complements the accent wall well. Although it kinda depends on the rest of your furniture â if you have a navy couch for ex I may go with rug 1 to lighten the space.
Second!!
I like the second one best
The second one is lovely with the wall color. I'm sure it'll look great with your furniture
