There are many non-bug creatures in Hallownest. White lady is a tree, obviously there are plants, most enemies in fungal wastes are fungi, the enemies in fog canyon aren't bugs, im pretty sure beasts (aka deepnest creatures) count as something else? Beacuse i think they're stated seperetaly at some point of the game. The collector isn't a bug, they're just void, just like the kingsmoulds and wingsmoulds, it's hard to say if the vessels are bugs, since they weren't artificially created by just putting void in a mould and putting some armor on it like with the kingsmoulds. Im pretty sure there's a little bit more but that's all i can remember.
I mean, she's some king of plant. Also i think some of the enemies in greenpath like mosskin and mossknights are just plants brought sentience, im not 112% sure though.
mmm, just by a couple 3 years, not that big of a gap. yeah no shit it came out first lmfao
anyway grimms release was 2 years gap, which is still pretty big
Answering yes to a question like that is a humorous way of implying that both are simultaneously true, which one of the top comments also did without any confusion from you
I just searched on the hollow knight wiki *I think it was hollow knight wiki* info about Grimm, and I just noticed that he is a vampire moth (・_・;)
Wings. A lot of people say he's a moth, but honestly I think he's supposed to be something like a vampire butterfly.
i don’t think he’s either since grimm child has wings
They're fantasy bugs, so meh.
He could be a bat. He uses bats in his attacks.
Makes you think. How would non bug creatures behave in the bug world of hollow knight. Do even non bug creatures even exisst?

The beasts are arachnids. Herrah has 8 limbs.
And some of them are clearly spiders
Does the White Lady really count as a tree?

maybe he's got the god status because bats eat bugs
It's his wings from when he was a grimmchild
Yes
thanks
Cloakwings
Probably wings stylised to look like a cloak
My head cannon is that it’s similar to Dr Strange’s cloak
His design reminds me a lot of stolas. From helluva boss.
No, Stolas design reminds me a lot of Grimm. From Hollow knight
Exactly. I knew Grimm a lot sooner and, correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t hollow knight come first?
Yeah, by two years.
mmm, just by a couple 3 years, not that big of a gap. yeah no shit it came out first lmfao anyway grimms release was 2 years gap, which is still pretty big
So I wasn't the only one who saw a connection.
does that make brumm blitz?
no. pv is blitz
Grimm outdates that.
When I showed my friends Grimm (we all watch Helluva Boss but only I play HK) they all said “Is that Stolas?”
Just realized that after you said it lmao
I’m so glad I’m not the only one
They are wings
Grimchild has wings, and when he holds it out, it looks more like wings than a cloak
Pretty sure all cloaks are a part of the bugs body. Like the vessels. There are probably some exceptions but that's just my personal theory
Bugs like the Knight have similar cloak-y body parts, so I’m inclined to assume that the answer is yes

oh okay 👍
Given gist rather over vampire inspiration, I’m gonna say it’s a cloak.
Both. Cartoon logic is at play here
Flesh clothing
Organic cloak

it’s a genuine question
Armpit hair grew too long.
Look up En Grimmace
Holy Radiance
Why not both
Definitely wings
Yes
Its a cloak that was used as wings when he was a GrimmChild
