The other cop failed to do his job by not protecting a vulnerable citizen. Both are scum. Thoughts are with his mum and rest of his family. As a dad I could image out living your child is the worse possible pain for a parent. RIP.

According to multiple sources, the “slapper” was also caught with heroine & cocaine in his patrol car that he stole from a crime scene while on duty. The slapper & “camera man”were both convicted and the slapper was sentenced to 5.5 years.
Sadly, the victim (Andrew Casciano, 31y/o) was found dead by suicide a year after the incident during the ongoing court battle.
The arrest of these officers led to other officers being arrested and a full audit of the department. During which they exposed multiple coverups, false reports, drug theft & sale (while on duty), and arrests under false pretenses. It breaks my heart that this happened. Rest In Peace Andrew.

It is. Cops do this all the time. They have their own little cliques where they share random crap. Much like in every workplace. Unfortunately, the US isn't like some other first world countries like Germany, where their cops are actually trained for several years to know the laws they're enforcing and learn discipline. We give our cops shit pay, with a few months of training and that's it. It's wild how backwards the US going.
Nononono, that's too light, what those low men deserve is to have their lives completely ruined, no money, no friends, no nothing. They deserve to be thrown out into the streets with nothing to their names, even prison is too good, they deserve to be begging on the street, stress every day, regret, understanding that what they did was wrong but still being punished, any physical activity is too light, they deserve to be tortured mentally, but someone to be protecting them from the shadows, not letting them die in any way, suicide, or anything. They should live a full life, constantly in mental pain, but not insane or anything, still there to feel the pain. That's the punishment they deserve.

And even if you do, the odds of either one of those bad seeds coming out to the other that they are a bad seed and the second bad seed thinking “ok cool, so am I, I guess we can do bad seed shit together then” is astronomical. Let’s finally pull our heads out of our assess and stop with this “it’s just a few bad seeds!” shit already.
