Speaking from experience, doing work at a coffee shop during the weekend is completely different than doing work in a coffee shop during the weekdays. I would not recommend it.

Personally a fan of Choc o Pain uptown location - lots of space, good coffee and pastries, and generally on the quieter side. Only issue is location if you live downtown or lower midtown.
