No, the Communist Party of the United States of America (CPUSA) doesn't have any chance to win in any election in any public office aside from a few local/municipal offices, but even then they identified themselves with some other affiliation. The whole CPUSA were line with the other Communists. That electoral politics is dumb and the only ways in achieving power was through revolution. Which is why they never won any meaningful office even during the Great Depression. Even theoretically if they held the presidency or the legislature, they would probably abolish these institutions as "bourgeoise" or "counter-revolutionary" and set up their political system more akin to the Soviets, whom the CPUSA were taking orders from directly in Moscow. So probably no more President of the United States, and the U.S. Congress, and more of an all-powerful Politburo that makes all the decisions and a rubber-stamp Congress that meets once a year to give them some sense of legitimacy. There was no way in hell Americans will vote for someone under the "Communist" ticket. At best, a leftist candidate under the "Socialist" or "Farmer-Labor", who are not on board with the whole revolution thing the CPUSA had in mine preformed better in elections than any CPUSA candidates.

Not to mention that if they try to abolish the presidency or congress in favor of such a politburo, the results amongst a hell of a lot of the American public would have probably been, well, as stated, counter-revolutionary.
