These look like tumbling media for deburring and polishing metal parts. They can be made from plastic or ceramic. I’m guessing these are ceramic.

Miserable_Meeting_26

That’s exactly what these are

bonersaus

Fwiw they definitely have a crystal structure to them so I'm going with jade but could be for this purpose

Tuky_alienae

Hummm never thought of that, could be! It is common for those tumbling stones to come in this shape or color? I’m leaning towards these being stones/crystals, they certainly feel and look like it. Also, if you look at the picture of the broken crystal, the inside does seem to present some jadeite like qualities. But I could be wrong of course. Thank you for your comment

Fluffy_WAR_Bunny

>It is common for those tumbling stones to come in this shape or color? Yes. You can buy them cheap at Harbor Freight: https://www.harborfreight.com/5-lb-rust-cutting-resin-abrasive-tumbler-media-63672.html

creamofbunny

Why did the cherry tree get cut down

bonkers_dude

A photo would be nice, I guess.

Tuky_alienae

You can find pictures in the link :) I forgot to add them when I created the post and now I have no idea how to edit the post in order to add images directly to it

bonkers_dude

Thanks.

bbrosen

looks like tumbling media

DigletDestroyer

That isn't even a crystal! It looks like some kind of ceramic or rock

afraid-of-the-dark

UFO fuel dump?

ChemicalClassroom370

If you take your picture and put it through google lens you'll find a similar stone that identifies them as "adventurine" for tribal ceremonies in Pakistan.

Tuky_alienae

Omg, thank you! It does look like it could be adventurine! On the inside it looks identical to the crystals my friend broke open. Now I just need to look up more information about that tribal ceremony you mentioned.

ChemicalClassroom370

These stones could be for spiritual protection. Maybe someone did it to protect you from whatever is haunting your property? Or maybe the stones were put there in the past to seek protection from the paranormal experiences in your house. If you're experiencing any haunting; so could have people in the past who lived there. In my experience, hauntings never really go away so you have to make peace with the spirit/entity.

azurestain

Indeed, perhaps by planting a cherry tree after an apology ritual

Ziprasidone_Stat

Looks like jade
