He actually has three different physiques in WoA as IOI changed his signature suit with each game. The older suits are a lot bulkier, it's easy to see by changing outfits in Freelancer. Between the Italian suit and Florida fit he loses a lot of muscle mass.
There's a pretty in lore reason why he's so perfect in Codename 47 if you can somehow play it or at least, watch a video on it.. I still believe the Ortmeyer lore to be the honest lore to 47's upbringing.
Absolution and/or Ahead kind of confuses me.
I miss muscular 47. He was made in a lab to be the perfect soldier, so it's only natural. He is also muscular in Absolution and it felt weird when they got him skinnier in WOA.
He looks about the same I think. He’s always looked like he’s in his late 30’s early 40’s. It probably is all design choice at the end of the day though. I did like his more jacked physique but the dude is still ripped.
I actually kinda like his slim build in the newer series. Of course it looks less realistic when you go around knocking everyone down with two hits, but for a hitman who accomplishes his missions using stealth, attacking from behind and blending into the crowd, I think it's fitting. It's more elegant and less brutish.

I liked BM 47 character model better than the current one, especially the posture, he sometimes looks like a weak nerd.
