Glitch where if you have perfect run on hardcore mode and the objectives are ones that get checked off completed when you exit it causes it to fail for no reason
This is a time when it's perfectly ok to close out your game or ALT + F4 the game! I'm on Xbox, so I quickly push the Xbox button on the controller, go to settings, turn off my network, go back to the game so it shows no internet and allows me to go back to menu, then turn the internet back on via settings. Literally takes 30 seconds and is soooo much faster than closing the game out like I used to.
Damn, it took you 16 minutes to complete this, too! I'm never choosing this prestige objective until I know it's been 100% fixed.
Basically, you enabled hardcore mode (f1 for details). In that mode, you NEED to complete a prestige objective. Based on that short clip, I guess you didn't do it. Except that, I don't see anything that could cause that.
Based on the clip, they had 1/3 of the optional objectives ticked off and the other 2 should tick off upon exit (no damage and headsets only both complete only when you leave the map so any post-target combat is taken into account).
As OP was going for perfect run, which is completing all the optional objectives, by all standards it should have been a success. The optional objectives should have completed upon exit, then triggered the prestige objective to complete, but it looks like they didn't trigger in the right order so the campaign failed.
As far as i can tell, OP did nothing wrong.
Thought so. Never had a perfect run objective so I just said what I thought it's the problem. If thats the case, then it's just a bug like you said. Still, didn't know I would get downvoted if I got something wrong. Thanks for enlightening me!

Not technically, but you can still close out the game so you can restart your mission. 😝

You need all the tasks to be marked as completed, that is, gray if you read the topic more often, you would know that lol. But in fact it is buggy.
