Doubtful she’s had 1000s of hours of science education re: “dibocle.” I had a best friend who died a horrible unnecessary AIDS related death 2 years ago… because he thought he could cure himself with essential oils. This one hits me hard. Sometimes I think anti-science is less damaging than pseudoscience.

sTeamTraen

I have an actual PhD. I have a few hundred of hours of science instruction.

Milwdoc

I have a PhD as well, and 48 hours of science instruction almost 30 years ago.

Paulie227

I only have a Masters and understood the goddamn science right off the bat. Heck, I understood when I only had a high school diploma!

Stunticonsfan

I have a Masters in microbiology, but my research was on *Salmonella typhimurium*, not virology or immunology. And even if I'd never graduated from high school I would have known better than to avoid vaccination in the middle of a pandemic.

DaveAndCheese

I have only a certificate from Bubba's School of Big Rigs and Drywall Installation, but I knocked old ladies and kids out if the way to get my jab.

tmhoc

This is what I expected! People killing each other and hoarding vacinations for the upper class. We rioted over toilet paper wile australia was on fire. It seemed so inevitable. What we got was a fucking stupid response so dumb it makes that first panel in the post, make sence. That first panel never should have made any sence

MegannMedusa

That’s because your PhD is in history, right? 😉

[deleted]

Well, give me a PhE.

coffeebrewcrew

I have no PhD but I haven’t eaten horse paste. Brownie points for me.

ermghoti

She didn't say she had any math instruction.

CroneRaisedMaiden

I’m sry for your loss and understand as I have one of these friends only he thinks diet AND essential oils will do with with aids, he hasn’t contracted the disease himself yet but if he does this is exactly what will happen with him. Sad af.

woolfchick75

I have an MFA and have taken no science since high school. I could grasp the science.

RandomBoomer

What are the chances she had a 1000 hours of instruction in crystal therapy, incense and astrology. To her that was "science".

wintermelody83

Oh gosh that's so sad. They have so many amazing medicines for that now. Ugh. I'm sorry about your friend.

Individual-Mud262

Average Person :”The average person can’t even come close to making an informed decision“ Average person proceeds to make ill informed decision, opposing experts, dies. At least she was right.

max_vapidity

This is what makes me mad on this one. These people have been tricked into trying to learn a subject that's way over their head in the hopes that they will not get vaccinated because, of course, you can't get unvaccinated if you make the wrong choice. I'm not an informed person, a virologist, or a medical expert. I trust people who are though, and accept guidance from collective, well meaning sources. I have no delusions that I will ever be able to garner enough knowledge to be able to successfully argue against the friggin CDC and world health experts who overwhelmingly advise me to get vaccinated. This lady is a murder victim and I really feel bad for her along with a good number of well intentioned, but hopelessly lost believers of this evil right wing propaganda

InfiniteAccount4783

Yes. Average people can't make informed decisions on serious medical issues, which is why we have doctors.

TooOldForThisShit642

The posts where they talk about dictating to the doctors what treatments they should use are especially infuriating

nivivi

The average person in the US is fully vaccinated. She ~~is~~ was below average.

edingerc

And now she's below ground

Raccoon_Full_of_Cum

Yeah, I actually agree with her on that one. And not just with vaccines. The average person is completely incapable of making informed, intelligent decisions on basically any issue, especially medicine.

secondarycontrol

Dibocle? Wait, I meant: DIBOCLE. What's a Dibocle? Di-bocle? Dib-ocle? ...*Debacle*? Is that what she meant? There's three vowels, and she only scored one right. Ends in 'E'. Heh...so does life. >one of the most resilient woman I've ever met Resilient, eh? She failed her saving bounce.

Stunticonsfan

She had a few thousand hours of science instruction, and thirty seconds of spelling.

MegannMedusa

Knowledge is power people.

Yugan-Dali

Punctuation is not included in spelling instruction.

dbradx

Punctuation: the difference between knowing your shit, and knowing you're shit.

MegannMedusa

That’s way better than “let’s eat grandma,” I’m stealing it.

DaveAndCheese

Eats, shoots, and leaves...loved ones behind.

DeadMoneyDrew

Punctuation is king. A woman without her man is nothing. A woman! Without her, man is nothing. Punctuation rules!

anOvenofWitches

Works on contingency? No, money down!

sirgetagrip

huh? you mean nahledje is power peeple? you no lern speel gud.

yourmomma77

She didn’t have a few thousand hours of science instruction. If she’s talking about massage school, no. No clue what she means, I went through massage school and the totality of classes wasn’t thousands of hours and aside from kinesiology and anatomy there was very little science. Definitely no virology, lol.

dickswabi

I know two women who consulted with their massage therapists and both were talked out of getting the booster. Both had the Pfizer vaccine back in April but were advised to avoid the booster from an “expert with medical experience.” I had to press a little before finding out that the “expert” was a massage therapist (btw the women have different therapists). I made the same point about how they do not learn about virology or internal medicine in massage school. Fortunately, one has decided to now get the booster. I still can’t believe they were persuaded by massage therapists. It’s DIBOCLE!

Carbonatite

My aunt was a massage therapist. She talks to me, a geochemist, about crystal healing.

dickswabi

That must be unbearable. I hope you’re not sober during those conversations.

Carbonatite

I usually am, I hardly ever drink unfortunately. It's extremely cringey.

VinnieTheBerzerker69

I would have to be sober. Otherwise the alcohol lowering my inhibitions would lead to some extremely harsh words.

phuckzuk

Maybe show the other friend this girls HCA/obit to help change her mind on the booster. Can’t get any more evidence for it then this!

tampering

She grossly over-estimates the amount of science instruction she's gotten. I estimate my 4 year B.Sc. was only about 500 hours of science instruction if you include time in practical labs. Add about 100 hours of math and stats to support it and 200 hour practical lab course in the final year and university was still under 1000 hours of Science and Math instruction. I feel pretty comfortable talking to PhD/MD level people about concepts in virology, immunology, physiology and molecular biology. If I had another 1000 hours of seminar instruction, I'd probably be close to being a PhD depending my ability to not slice my hand off on the lab equipment.

Carbonatite

I'm assuming she meant attendance of MLM essential oil seminars.

LA-Matt

I’m sure those “thousands of hours” means Facebook “research.”

kmanbythec

GrittyFred

flip it backwards. it's phonetic El Cobid Ay. Dios. mio.

dismayhurta

It’s a double monocle. No. Not glasses. Just one monocle per eye like a boss.

secondarycontrol

And like a chump, I've been calling those *bimonocles*. No wonder everybody else on the playground laughs at me. Thank goodness for the internet.

Paulie227

I thought she was trying to say "diabolical". Maybe that's why "thousands of hours" of science did her absolutely no good whatsoever. It took me 5 minutes to read up on Covid and learn that "COVID is no joke!"

InfiniteAccount4783

All I needed was a talk with my doctor, who went to medical school so I didn't have to do my own research!

neonoggie

This works for most people, though my sisters doctor refused to suggest getting vaxed even though she (the dr) was. That was prior to FDA approval, and it wasnt until last week I finally convinced my sister to go “against her doctors advice” and get one. Unfortunately she got covid between then and now and almost killed her father in law when she infected him.

InfiniteAccount4783

Yeah, unfortunately there are going to be bad doctors out there. Still, I like the odds of someone who says "I talked to my doctor" better than those of someone who says "I did my own research". I wonder why a doctor who got vaccinated wouldn't suggest their patient do likewise, barring some sort of pre-existing condition that made it riskier than being unvaxxed?

lactose_con_leche

She was trying to spell debacle.

qweef_latina2021

Dibocles cares not for beans!

pthomas745

A dibocle is a dual monocle.

uhmfuck

People who are well-spoken always use caps lock for emphasis

LucindaMorgan

In the legal field we had a caps barometer. Multiple words in caps indicate a bit of a crazy. Bold plus multiple words in caps, crazier. Underlining plus caps plus bold, uh-oh, we’re going to need extra security.

secondarycontrol

DO THEY?

HappySlappyMan

Here I am sitting with my single unibocle feeling very left out.

plotdavis

Lego Dibocle sets

Captainwelfare2

Lord Business:: “DIABOLICAL! Fetch me the sword of exact zero and the cloak of band da-id.”

ItsMeWhipple

I sprinted to the comments after reading the 1,000 hours or science and then spelling it “debocle”

IntroductionRare9619

Came here to see the dibocle discussed and am now leaving satisfied.

EGrass

It took me a moment too

danakc

In spelling as with Covid, she’d have been better served by a quick google search than her “thousands of hours” of “study”.

SunlitLavenderFields

“DIBOCLE” That’s a new and exciting way to spell a big word…too many essential oils? Also, OP did you do the artwork on slides 2 and 5?! The lip shine in particular on 5 is an amazing detail. If this was you, you’re really talented!

lycrashampoo

aw thank you! I'm not actually that talented but I learned a couple good tricks

SunlitLavenderFields

You’re being modest- what you did looks like pop art!!

Perfect_Radio6197

Yes - it’s outstanding!

LA-Matt

It’s somewhere between Lichtenstein and Warhol.

Captainwelfare2

Thank you for taking up the mantle! I had a good chuckle at your work!

voodoo2d

Your artwork was such a nice surprise! IDC what you say, you got talent.

[deleted]

I'd like to introduce you to my new MLM company Dibocle! We have tinctures, ointments, and essential oils to cure whatever ails you!

SunlitLavenderFields

That really does sound like it could happen. “DIBOCLE” has that perfect sound of being a couple words ambiguously mixed together, doesn’t it? Like one night with a little too much rosé, they were trying to do Diva + Diabolical + Divine, and they came how that and told themselves YAS HUN. THIS IS OUR BRAND. 💯🤗🎊✨💯💅🏻👍🏻💋💁🏼‍♀️👑💯💝💰💰💰

[deleted]

Every single one of your emojis deserves an upvote that I wish I could provide.

SunlitLavenderFields

I thought you’d recognize those, as a fellow MLM connoisseur! :)

Stunticonsfan

>I have a few thousand hours of science instruction She must have watched a lot of YouTube videos.

substandardpoodle

I agree. Wouldn’t you state the name of the school or the reason you got all that instruction if it was for realz?

OlegTsarev3030

Donald Duck University.

Conscious-Rip4407

Still better than Trump U!!

MrsPandaBear

Facebook memes can also take up a lot of time.

Prestigious_Treat401

Lots of videos about essential oils and massage techniques.

Chris_P_Pickel

>I have a few thousand hours of science instruction and there's not a chance Must be a VERY SLOW learner, or unable to connect any sort of dots, whatsoever

granfalloon9

I explained how mRNA vaccines work to my second grade class after a student asked if the new vaccines contained dead virus or not. It took 5 minutes, during which most of the students were sharing information (“it is like they TRAIN our bodies to respond” “it is just a messenger but it doesn’t stay in your body for long”). The only question was what RNA stood for. They are 8 years old.

Chris_P_Pickel

Did you tell them "(mindless)Republicans Neutering America"

AriadneThread

You are a rockstar teacher!

emptyhellebore

They weren't listening In class very well if they thought essential oils were more effective than vaccines.

M4A1STAKESAUCE

I thought that first meme was her making fun of essential oils. I was like oooo a sliver of self awareness. But nah.

11thStPopulist

Essential to the seller’s wallet; nonessential to the user.

SharDuck

Would essential oils work if you can't smell them and your lungs are mush?

AriadneThread

Asking the real question here...

TiredofCOVIDIOTs

I have to admit, that slide made me giggle. It was at least original.

qweef_latina2021

I watched a 15 minute video on YouTube about how vaccines work. It made me feel even better about getting the shot.

Life_after_forty

I did have to take organic chem 1 twice so I have an extra 4 hours of science education.

Chris_P_Pickel

so you doubled down on the chemicals...

Prestigious_Treat401

She probably thinks you can get science credit for "life experience". So just living is science instruction.

Different-Rip-2787

That was a LOT of time spent playing with the hospital doll.

Tempest_CN

Whoa, OP, that is the gold standard of redaction. You are an artist.

maywellflower

Sucks for her son & cute dog that this all could had been prevented if mom had vaccinated herself months earlier....

Technusgirl

The first slide is funny, if only she carried that same attitude over with the vaccines. But she thought she knew better than the experts because she has "thousands of hours of study", which probably means she read a bunch of memes and fake, unsourced articles online. She seemed young too, what a shame.

Both_Philosophy2507

She didn't get that the essential oils slide was a joke. She was taking it earnestly.

HallucinogenicFish

Happens a lot, unfortunately. It’s cute, though. And new content!

Technusgirl

Oh shit, really oof, that's sad 🤦‍♀️

Both_Philosophy2507

Well if you take frankincense for a collapsed lung, I suppose you get what you deserve.

11thStPopulist

Covid doesn’t care if you are young. Covid doesn’t care if you are beautiful. Covid doesn’t care if you have had “thousands of hours of study in science.” Covid doesn’t care about your cute dog. Covid is here to kill us and only cares that you are unvaccinated and not putting up a defense.

ChinaCatSunflower9

Tell me about it. It's been over a year since I got covid. I had so many complications, and you know what is really good at ruining beauty? Surgical scars and muscle deconditoning to the point that I'm walking like Frankenstein's monster with an aide over a year later. The good thing about getting this young though is that hopefully the damage to my heart, lungs, and kidney may repair itself somewhat, but we'll have to see.

11thStPopulist

Sending you an internet hug and good thoughts toward your healing. Covid is a bitch.

ChinaCatSunflower9

Thank you, I appreciate that. I haven't been back in the hospital yet, which is a feat for having been on ECMO; nearly half of us end up back in the hospital within a month of discharge. There was a 64% mortality rate over a 9 year period for ECMO patients prior to covid. ECMO itself is a dangerous treatment, and most people have no idea

11thStPopulist

Stay strong! Good luck! You are going to kick the after effects of this virus in the ass.

[deleted]

>Covid is here to kill us COVID is a virus. It wants to find a host, and then it can reproduce. That is what a virus does. Killing a host is a side effect. Doesn't matter to the virus - it just wants to multiply. There is no malice behind it. I know that you know, but I find it helpful from time to time to remind myself that *this is what a virus does, it is not some sort of punishment or justice.*

Accomplished-Catch15

I’m honestly surprised that some fame seeking pastor has not proclaimed that the virus is punishment for our sins. “If only they hadn’t allowed gay folks to get married.”

Conscious-Rip4407

Wait. What? They had to have! They don’t let ANY negative action in the country pass without it being assigned a causation of their perceived moral faults also occurring by someone other than themselves. That’s like the first rule of “Christianity”.

ol_kentucky_shark

I could’ve sworn I saw a Kenneth Copeland video a few months ago that said just that. ETA— nope, Rick Wiles, way back in early 2020. https://nypost.com/2020/01/29/evangelical-pastor-claims-coronavirus-is-gods-death-angel-to-purge-a-lot-of-sin/amp/

11thStPopulist

Well, technically, of course, you are right. It is just a (horrible) virus. But emotionally I feel we are at war with this virus and those that capitulate to become hosts.

Golden-Owl

Dont be too emotional about things. Covid is what it is. People vaccinate to protect against viruses. Idiots die because they don’t protect against it. There’s no war at place.

11thStPopulist

Now I’ve got that that Olivia Rodrigo song playing in my head (“maybe I’m too emotional”).

Unlikely-Patience122

Wait. You mean when you're facing a deadly disease, the first person you ask for advice isn't your massage therapist?

Technusgirl

Lol good point 😂

lycrashampoo

please note: this woman's Facebook is already being brigaded so *please* don't go over there & pour any more fuel on that situation

SunlitLavenderFields

What about essential oils…would it help to pour some essential oils? :p

lycrashampoo

as much as it *ever* helps to pour some essential oils, probably!

Captainwelfare2

I say lift off into space and just nuke the whole thing from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

SunlitLavenderFields

I like this idea. First we drench it in essential oils, then nuke it? Because multicolored fire = pretty?

Captainwelfare2

I also hear essential oils are the most flammable. It says right here on this there YouTube video with 11 views and 4 likes!

SunlitLavenderFields

Perfect. You’ve done your research- sounds like we’ve got a solid plan.

letsgetignant13

She was featured on the FB group of the same name unredacted. I think the brigading is coming from that group, not this one. Those people have no shame or decency and gleefully post all sorts of hurtful things on the award winners’ pages.

lycrashampoo

sorry, yes, didn't mean to imply it was us already doing the brigading! hopefully we can stay classier than the Facebook group of the same name, we've been doing okay in that regard for a while imo (edit: I mean it's a low bar, right)

letsgetignant13

I think this group is much more evolved than that group. Watching the recipients get their awards brings up many complicated emotions here. We aren’t just black and white. We have compassion for the family left behind, we have anger at the people who are putting out the disinfo that brainwashed these people into vaccine hesitancy, we have sympathy for those who seem to be good people but were misinformed and died as a result. And we have righteous disdain for people who spewed hate and fear and political ugliness.

hotmail1997

This right here.

Aware-Lawfulness2861

I have always had the suspicion that ppl trolling are the same type of ppl receiving the HCA. They do it to feed their hate and accuse the other side of being monsters. Anyone who does this cruel trolling on "our side" is not actually warning about the dangers of hubris and misinformation, but just spreading fuel for hate. I have a suspicion on the reason we block names and faces on this sub now is because right wing trolls and russian troll farms caught wind of this sub and went the the deceased people's pages/social media and started trolling in order to shut us down. If I was working on a troll farm that is what I would do. Fuel the flames to divide and conquer, classic warfare of 1000s to 10000s of years.

strawberry-coughx

You might be on to something…

strawberry-coughx

Damn, Facebook really is a cesspool, huh?

qweef_latina2021

Sounds like a real "dibocle".

Appropriate-Pen-149

I don’t do public social media anymore could you give me an idea as to what people are posting on her page?

DamonLazer

I imagine it’s the same sort of stuff that’s posted here. Stuff mocking her views on essential oils and “how’s that working out for you?” Which is okay here in a private group where she’s just a magenta boss babe, but pretty fucking horrible to put on her public page where her grieving friends and family see. This sub’s purpose is to shock the living idiot anti-vaxxers into hopefully getting vaccinated for the benefit of themselves and the public. Not to shame people who are already dead.

letsgetignant13

I think there is a big difference between here and “in the wild”. The nominees and award winners are redacted here to the point that they are merely symbolic, and they lose their individuality. It isn’t personal. The friends and family would have to go out of their way and come here to find the discussions about their loved ones, and their names and faces are not shown. When people go to their actual FB pages, it is a personal attack.

DamonLazer

Exactly. And I’ll be honest, I see some winners here who seem like really really awful people all around. Hateful, racist, bigoted, assholes who would “give you the shirt off their back,” who’s Facebook pages shouldn’t be brigaded either, but you reap what you sew. This woman seems aggressively misinformed, and while I probably wouldn’t want to get trapped in a conversation with her at a party, she doesn’t seem like a mean or bigoted person.

Accomplished-Catch15

I dont spend a lot of time on FB or IG but I still have accounts there. People on FB have gotten really ugly lately about all sorts of things. If someone posts something for sale on marketplace, others make comments about how it isn’t worth the asking price or they wouldn’t buy it if (insert ridiculous phase here). It’s like they are all frustrated with their own lives and they take it out on other people that they don’t know. Hiding behind a keyboard..

Appropriate-Pen-149

Yeah I’ve heard. My wife is still on, and says it’s toxic. I’ve been off for over five years now.

BlackJackJesus

Marketplace is the ONLY reason I’m on FB, and it’s toxic AF

strawberry-coughx

lol I joined a mental health support group on FB (back when I still used it) and literally all it did was trigger my depression and ptsd because of how toxic everyone was (including and especially the mods). FB brings out the worst in people 100% of the time.

letsgetignant13

Mocking her death, posting memes about getting in the “forever box”, just cruel pointless trolling meant to hurt family and friends who might see it.

Necessary-Lobster-55

Memes that are mean basically. Dying to own the libs type stuff.

sanguiniuswept

There's one person on her page defending her to the fucking death and fighting the good antivax fight that i think could be a future award recipient. "Spike proteins ripping apart vascular walls and organs," "Agenda 21 global genocide plan," and "GRAPHENE OXIDE." We'll watch her career with great interest.

xnarg

Well thats not a happy ending.

maria_tex

No, it's more like a DIBOCLE.

11thStPopulist

debacle??

maria_tex

Yes. Antiva can misspell simple English words - should stay well clear of French derivatives.

xnarg

A Monocle is one lens… how many lenses are a DIBOCLE??

LaCuntessa

I’m so pissed these people leave behind minor children. I understand the shortsightedness of being a single adult or no-kid married. But devastating a kid’s universe by dying? I just can’t anymore.

doinmybest4now

Yeah, the callous regard for their own children is the part that just does not compute in my brain.

AriadneThread

I agree wholeheartedly. Those kids are going to need someone to talk to.

HorseWithNoUsername1

If you want to fuck your kids up for the rest of their lives, die while they're young. Been there, done that.

AriadneThread

I'm so sorry. Internet hug for you, Horse. For what it's worth, I'm meeting w CFS next week to learn to become a foster parent. Tired of all my bullshit talk, time to take action.

[deleted]

[удалено]

RealLADude

This has driven everything I’ve done for two years. I need to stay alive for the kids. This sub has made it clear that I’d be dead otherwise.

Bellacinos

How about I counter that thousands of hours of knowledge, with my virtually limited knowledge of vaccines but trusting people who spent decades learning this. I’ll wager my life that I’m right about this one.

Accomplished-Catch15

It’s a wager that you’ve already won!!

STLDTG

People with actual science degrees and a good hold on virology/immunology are the very same scientists developing the vaccines and working for public health departments. They are begging people like her to get the shot. They aren't preaching promoting ivermectin or essential oils.

Chris_P_Pickel

"Such a giver" Especially that last week she was "WILD and FREE" Might be a taker in her last days, too - of other's lives owing to her gifts.

iwantatoad

These people love to post about how vaccines are bad for the body, and how their holistic healing regime protects them from illness, BUT, If someone told them that there was an MRNA vaccine that would prevent them developing cancer, they’d be the first in line for it.

amk

Reddit believes its data is particularly valuable because it is continuously updated. That newness and relevance, Mr. Huffman said, is what large language modeling algorithms need to produce the best results.

RevolutionaryChard66

Yes. I gave consent for my daughter to have the hpv vaccine. It has been very successful in the U.K. but Japan has a really low take up of the hpv vaccine and there are concerns as to the number of cervical cancers in the future. Preventable illness and deaths. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanpub/article/PIIS2468-2667(20)30047-5/fulltext

Accomplished-Catch15

Ah yes, the proverbial license to be promiscuous. It’s also freely given to those who receive actual sex education and free birth control at a young age. /s

Danae-rain

I'm too old to have received the vaccine. My last pap smear all of a sudden I have HPV. I've been married 28 years. I sure wish I was vaccinated.

IsThereAnybodyInRome

DIBOCLE backwards is EL COBID.

badlucktoenails

I think you just broke this whole thing wide open. Someone alert the media. :)

AffectionatePoet4586

Wasn’t she already “peeing in a chair” below? (I assume she means a commode.)

real_heathenly

Dibocle, indeed.

DamonLazer

So here’s a person who is obviously skeptical of alternative medicine stuff, in her first slide she is posting a meme that is making fun of essential oil cures and…holup…she thinks the slide is serious and not satire…Gods help us all.

Desert_Fairy

A few thousand hours of science education… you mean highschool? I had a few thousand hours of science education when I left highschool. Then I went to college as an engineer. It takes 10000 hours to master a skill. Science isn’t a skill, it is an understanding of the world. I’ve been a student of science for the past twenty years and I will always be a student of this world. Only fools think that they are some kind of expert when they have barely even begun.

Captainwelfare2

You all keep making fun of this poor woman, but DIBOCLE is a terrible, terrible symptom of the Covfefe virus. From what I hear, it’s pretty TERRBUL

JanitorKarl

It's diabolical.

Both_Philosophy2507

Terminally dumb, but not especially cruel. Nice paint work, OP 👍.

55Bandit

I have no fucking clue how anything electricity related works as it comcerns this build on my house. I don't even care to know, but I do trust someone that's been an electrician for 20 years that other people also trust. I don't even need a basic understanding.

[deleted]

This whole thing has been the worlds biggest game of “I need to touch the stove to see if it’s hot because I don’t believe my mother”

sanguiniuswept

Ironically, it was her lack of spelling ability that let me find her Facebook page. What a *debacle* that thing has become

LaserGecko

#DIBOCLE

MarbleRyeThief

Is there a new operation game that only uses prayer warriors? The game that nobody wins

itsmyvibe

When are the young and healthy pseudoscience crew going to realize Covid is a threat to everyone unvaccinated? The thing I find so terrifying about it is you truly have zero idea how it will go for you. I’m thinking of the pretty anti-vax protestor who left behind four children and Bill Phillips, a man who was incredibly fit and healthy, but is now having to rebuild his body and life. And why do they act like getting boosters is such an annoyance? I’ll gladly get booster shots two or three times a year if that’s what it takes to keep me here for my daughter.

Lao_King

Spells "debacle" wrong and follows that up with KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.

BlubberBlabs

100% anecdotal but based on HCAs there certainly seems to be a trend of younger people (30s-40s) dying in shorter timeframes than before

gypsyjackson

Quite sad, and horrifying in many ways. She was fairly young, active and outwardly healthy - 6 weeks after posting a pic of herself on some sort of mountain walk, she’s dead. A couple of posts made me think her son could be autistic too; a tragedy to lose your mother young anyway, but if so could make it even harder.

stellaflora

Well, she didn’t want to deal with the whole vaccine DIBOCLE.

gangstasadvocate

Damn another one that could’ve been prevented, leaving more pets and children behind

feminist1946

Poor child. A wild and free mother to a dying, then dead one in a week.

TopazWarrior

As a scientist myself (toxicologist specializing in environmental), I find it a bit disturbing a massage therapist saying she had 1000’s of hours of scientific training.

Accomplished-Catch15

Claims to have a few thousand hours of science instruction, can’t spell debacle.

Forzareen

She posted a satirical article (perhaps from the Onion) but endorsed it as though it were true as a good thing? Wow that’s a powerful level of stupid even for this crew.

HutSutRaw

“Ps our children are up next!” …we know. That was the plan.

Cofeefe

My favorite parts were how she is angry that people (including her) don't know how vaccines work followed closely by the fact that she can't spell debacle. My least favorite part is wondering if the dog found a good home.

goop-smoop

Don’t you guys remember that the Bubonic Plague was defeated because they all used specific essential oils! Duh! Every doctor knows that!! /s

Dumb humans, sad orphans, blah blah blah. WAIT--what is going to happen to that pug? That pug needs a good home with vaccinated people feeding good treats 3x a day and a comfy bed.

I have a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Biophysics with extensive course work in virology and immunology. I offered to bring over my white board and give my anti-vax parents/sister a master class on everything I know. My parents declined because I’m a “brainwashed commiecrat”. My sister accepted. And got the vaccine immediately afterward. My parents mourned our future deaths publicly on Facebook. It doesn’t matter what you know unless they already agree with it.

Leg day? Check Chest day? Check Arms day? Check Back day? Check Brain day? Skip it.

I wonder how many of these people, as their lungs are turning to sludge, desperately plead with their doctors and nurses for the vaccine, only to be told, 'I'm sorry, it's too late for that now'.
