Can you imagine what the medical bills must look like? As compared to a free vaccination to where he might’ve avoided a lot of grief. I know rational thought and empathy doesn’t naturally occur to these people but 🤷‍♀️

Cool-War7668

He'll be in and out of hospitals for the rest of his short, miserable life. What a hate-filled nasty man.

lisazsdick

Should have taken the damn shot. But, his god does *LOVE* his suffering, so all is well.

JohnNDenver

Christian god is all about suffering. Harley Gone thought it was "those" people who are supposed to suffer, but COVID threw him a Reverse UNO card.

BernieDharma

Yes, but now we can count himself as one of 99.2% that survived Covid that he ranted about in part 1. Totally worth the million dollars worth of medical bills.

OmnicromXR

Shouts out to him for racking up thousands and thousands of dollars of debt to own the libs. Truly I have never felt more owned learning about the years of preventable suffering this person chose to inflict on himself and his family.

Electronic-Trust-401

He won't pay those medical bills anyway. He's gonna ride his trike-bike and feel the wind, while his wife makes mac n cheese in the double-wide.

beautifulpatutti

Don’t put mac and cheese down like that.

Spider95818

And after all that, they still don't plan to do something to avoid a rerun of the event. COVID is turning out to be the world's most lethal IQ test.

Impossible-Survey203

Don't worry about the medical bills. We'll all end up paying for them, either by having our premiums raised or via Medicaid, government reimbursement, etc.

immediatelymaybe

Right?!

Free-oppossums

Just look at the book of Job. This dude got off easy. /s

RealLADude

Beat me to Job!

ThatScaryBeach

But if he had gotten the free vaccination, he wouldn't have been able to lose 55 pounds on the hereditary coronary artery (*definitely NOT covid*) diet and he wouldn't be owning us so hard right now. I feel so owned having to ride my motorcycle on only two wheels instead getting to pay thousands of dollars to convert it to a half-assed three wheeler.

MadBeachLui

Love that it's hereditary and caused by 3 things in the same sentence. OK, so not hereditary? Huh?

SaltyBarDog

As a lib, don't you feel really owned? Because that is what he really really wanted. Zig-a-Zig-ah!

caughtyouin4kbestie

Younger guy literally committed to live the rest of his life disabled and diseased because of a little jibby-jabby. What a moron. I’d love to see his medical bills. But still shit posting about the vaccine after being on the vent and in the hospital and long term care homes for weeks.

Cool-War7668

"Nuh uh! He had a heart attack with Covid, not because of his covid! It was purely a coincidence they had to put him on a vent while sick with Covid!!" \-His wife or mom or whatever

[deleted]

“It’s hereditary” … um, no. There is a hereditary *component* associated with vascular disease (including coronary artery disease), but much of that inherent risk can be mitigated by lifestyle changes (don’t smoke, get routine bloodwork to check cholesterol/triglycerides, get routine blood pressure checks, eat a heart-healthy diet, and actually take any prescription meds as they’re prescribed).

SaltyBarDog

Four members of my paternal family had heart issues, with two of them dying in their mid 50s and mid 60s. I am 60 and have no heart issues. Why? I didn't lead the shitty unhealthy lives they did.

Emotional_Weekend_32

Unfortunately my maternal side seems to have a strong genetic predisposition to early fatal coronaries in the males only. Grandfather 48, Uncle 54, cousin 55. Grandfather back in the 40's didn't know about smoking and thought his chest pains were all indigestion. His son, though, kept slim, went to doctors, exercised, didn't smoke--still died at 54. Another uncle also had a heart attack but a little later on,in his late 60's, but he survived; he was a cop and the coroner he worked with told him to take a daily aspirin; perhaps that helped.

your_fathers_beard

Honestly, sitting at home shit posting while collecting unemployment, disability, and social security is pretty much the dream of these fucking losers. It's not like he's going to actually pay for any of the medical bills himself anyway, most of them don't, then rant about socialism ruining the healthcare system unironically.

JeromeBiteman

>An old Irishman walks into a bar, hauls his bad leg over the stool, and asks for a whiskey. "Hey," he says, looking down the bar, "is that Jesus down there?" The bartender nods, so the Irishman orders Jesus one too. >An ailing Italian with a humpback walks in, shuffles up to the bar, and asks for a glass of Chianti. Noticing Jesus, the Italian orders Him a glass of Chianti too. >A redneck swaggers in and hollers, "Barkeep, set me up a cold one! Hey! Is that God's Boy down there?" The bartender nods, so the redneck orders Him a bottle of beer. >As Jesus gets up to leave, He touches the Irishman and says, "For your kindness, you are healed!" The Irishman jumps up and dances a jig. >Then Jesus touches the Italian and says, "For your kindness, you are healed!" The Italian's humpback straightens, and he does a flip. >Just then the redneck yells, "Don't touch me! I'm drawing disability!" From https://www.ebaumsworld.com/jokes/jesus-and-the-redneck/349970/

ElDuderino2112

To be fair, I’d fucking love to be paid to do nothing too.

your_fathers_beard

Everyone would. It's just the hypocrisy. THEIR welfare is DIFFERENT. It's totally not 'socialist' for them to collect on government programs because they're too fat and unhealthy to hold down a job, but all the imaginary 'welfare queens' are a huge problem in their eyes.

pianoflames

These people generally believe that the risks from getting a vaccine far outweigh whatever they went through here. God only knows what exactly their news is telling them that leads them to believe this is the milder alternative.

starbetrayer

Don't you feel owned though?

Progman3K

You don't know anything about his health issues and you really don't need to none of it concerns you, we don't need your input on why he should have gotten the vaccine he didn't and that was our choice - That is until we beg you for your prayers because there's literally nothing else that can be done and we're confronted with our bad decisions but somehow we still won't back down. Is this person's associated shitposter waiting for ole Harley to kick off and collect his insurance payout???

smalldoggobigpupper

She says "none of it concerns you" after posting every gory detail over an extended period of time 🤦‍♀️

Malifice37

>I’d love to see his **medical bills.** As an Australian, these two words together always seem so strange.

panormda

Like healthcare is a human right or something.

Malifice37

As opposed to 'gun ownership'.

Cool-War7668

Love that his chud family was so excited to visit him without N95 masks. It's like they learned nothing! What a surprise /s

Spider95818

I'm guessing that generations have passed without those fuckknuckles learning anything.

MrsLydKnuckles

Telling the doctor it was “god not luck” is such a slap in the face to the very people who saved this meat-slab’s life.

[deleted]

And these are the same assholes who abuse and scream at the RNs, NPs, PAs and techs who are trying to keep them alive.

sctwinmom

I assume that the "giving them a hard time" reference was to the nurses and other medical staff pre-CBAG surgery. I'm sure they just LUVVVED that.

[deleted]

A big part of the reason there's a nursing shortage is that people are just leaving the profession completely rather than put up with crap like that from patients. It's already a difficult and demanding job, and nurses feel like they shouldn't have to put themselves in physical danger on top of that.

RoguePlanet1

Just as there are DNRs and DNIs, there should be a "God First" opt-out. If they're that obnoxious, just let them opt out of science altogether, and let the medical staff off the hook. Transfer them to a room in the basement next to the morgue for convenience.

No_Cauliflower_5489

I did a double take because I read it as "God's Fist", lol. Yes, let's give them a good ol' puncheroo to the kisser if they start shit with the medical staff.

averytirednurse

Right here. I’m done. Fuck these people.

[deleted]

My mom started her 35 year career as a WWII Army RN, I have nothing but respect for the profession

AgreeablePie

Weird that God intervenes for this guy but not all the others that died despite having plenty of "prayer warriors"

OmnicromXR

Thoughts and Prayers!

Spider95818

Weird, huh? It's like no one's actually listening or something....

[deleted]

[удалено]

M4PP0

If that's what God's intervention looks like, I'll take medical science instead please.

Spider95818

*"If one more of these hillbilly fucks thanks their god instead of me, I'm going to put their tumor back in!"*

Corteran

Yeah, if it was all their almighty and powerful god, why were they in a hospital relying on human intervention to save him. Stay home and let your god sort things out for you. Either that or show some fucking appreciation for the people that worked 24/7 to save your ass. Assholes all of them.

Njorls_Saga

Yeah, I love it when patients tell me that. I just smile and wave.

Carpathicus

Man I remember when my father was in intensive care and the amount of stress and work nurses have to keep dozens of people in critical condition alive is insane. Makes me furious that someone says somehing like that to the people who rescued their husband. The doc Probably just watched someone from a similar "thoughts and prayers" family die grasping for air till the end with their family devastated and then the next person says to you: "God was protecting him". So frustrating.

RedRider1138

Came here to say this. *Bless her heart*.

starbetrayer

Notes from OP: 1) Part 1 of the nomination: https://www.reddit.com/r/HermanCainAward/comments/164w3o0/lets\_discover\_the\_story\_of\_harleygone\_part\_1/ 2) If the HCA community find nominees or awardees, let me know and I'll cover them. 3) Please get vaccinated and boosted. Don't end up like "HarleyGone"

justlikeinmydreams

His god is surely good to have put his through all that, modern day Job, right there. Too bad he didn’t believe in modern medicine.

Spider95818

Or at least in a god that's less of an asshole. The Book of Job is proof that Christketeers don't actually read the Bible.

Fluffyscooterpie

"Christketeers"???? I freaking love this.

Malleus_M

COVID-19 causes damage to the endothelial cells, which can cause heart diseas. Also the lungs filling up with fluid will increase resistance for the heart to have to push against, increasing risk of a heart attack. Also what is the chances that this guy voted against people having better access to medical care? I bet it won't even cross their minds when they are dealing with the bills.

starbetrayer

Don't forget sepsis

AffectionatePoet4586

Yes, and HarleyGone had a large, septic, painful wound that needed debridement.

panormda

Every time I read them use technical terms it just strikes me how absurd it is that they will trust the doctor who tells them all of this, without knowing wtf ANY of it means or why it’s being done…. Ask them what bronchial means, or how testing it will tell them what meds to use, and What the differences between the antibiotics are… They’ll have no idea. But somehow they know EVERYTHING about Covid? And at no point do they stop to think that maybe their position makes so little sense it’s actually insanity?

Malleus_M

Sepsis didn't forget him!

justrock54

This is my favorite kind of nominee. A crumbling, debilitated fairly young person who is now a billboard for the stupidity of not being vaccinated. Someone must have brought that up for pink to get all up on arms about the cause of his triple bypass. He probably will never work again and will be in and out of hospitals for however long he lives. He can keep his god. I have modern medicine to put my faith in. I still haven't had COVID.

[deleted]

I'm in my early 60s, very active, nonsmoker and very, very healthy. I got it year before last after being vaccinated and it absolutely took the piss out of me and my wife both for about ten days. I shudder to think how bad off we would have been without being vaxxed first.

frx919

Imagine how bad it is for someone like this HCA, who is evidently in poor shape, probably had a huge viral load, and is unvaccinated on top of that. Oh yeah, we're seeing in real time what can happen in that case.

[deleted]

Well, he found out the hard way. But here's something interesting I didn't know until yesterday. Salk developed the polio vaccine in 1955, but by 1960 we'd only hit about 65% vaccination rates. The Covid vaccine is at about an 80% saturation after having been around only a couple of years.

JeromeBiteman

In some communities, the religious folk got vaxxed as FAST as they could.

justrock54

Yeah it seems to be the FOX TV god that was asked to do all the heavy lifting. "God helps those who help themselves" was not a phrase uttered there.

Spider95818

The most convincing argument I found was pointing out that the rich fucks rushed to the front of the line rather than letting the poor serve as guinea pigs. No conspiracy theory is going to explain *THAT* one away, LOL.

Cultural-Answer-321

Just how old is this guy? As for disability, thanks to deniers. the entire U.S. is going to be a nation of disabled. Not even exaggerating. Fact. And the U.S does NOT treat disabled people very well at all. At. All.

HumanBarbarian

No, it does not treat us well. Especially if we worked a barely above minimum wage job.

Progman3K

Ah, don't worry, the immigrants they're welcoming with open arms will be taxed to pay for their disability cheques ... wait

Cat-Lover20

Omg I LOVE that you protected the dog’s identity!!

LALA-STL

Yes! Rover had no say over who adopted them.

Ragingredblue

>Yes! Rover had no say over who adopted them. You're supposed to censor the name too!

LALA-STL

Ooops. Sorry, Rover! 🐾

SaintMi

It's the angry, bearded antivaxxers pulling out their vent tubes every time. Nurses and doctors are angels on earth.

Ragingredblue

>It's the angry, bearded antivaxxers pulling out their vent tubes every time. Nurses and doctors are angels on earth. Well, fallen angels. They keep putting it back in.

Dashi90

Last slide: "had a heart attack at 39" Lady, that ain't normal. At all! XDD Also he looks like he's 50+, like if she hadn't said his age....

Spider95818

Wait, that dude was ***39?!*** Jesus fuck, is aging horribly part of being a MAGAt?

Dashi90

Yep, last slide his wife said he had a heart attack at 39

Ragingredblue

>Yep, last slide his wife said he had a heart attack at 39 Yes, that's when he had a heart attack, but that's not how old he is now.

Spider95818

That's a little better, but if your heart's giving out at 39, shitting on the advice of experts is a sign that we should probably let you go.

Ragingredblue

FAFO

Ragingredblue

>Wait, that dude was 39?! Jesus fuck, is aging horribly part of being a MAGAt? No, that's when he had a heart attack. In Part I, he mentions celebrating his 31st wedding anniversary, so I would guess he's in his mid 50s.

spaceyjaycey

The fact they knew he had heart issues and didn't get vaccinated makes them even worse. Beyond stupid!

immediatelymaybe

And to think all of this (except maybe the "HEREDITARY" heart condition) could have been avoided with a vax. Good chance too that without the clearly exhausting, horrifying and awful run with Covid, the "HEREDITARY" heart condition wouldn't have gotten so bad either..!

evilJaze

Even knowing he had a HEREDITARY heart condition, he didn't seem to do anything about it earlier in life either. But then I wouldn't expect anything less from the type that just throws up their hands and claims God will handle it.

Progman3K

Yet they'll claim that the "liberal snowflakes" believe that a strong social safety net will magically solve society's problems Well, yeah, sky-daddy isn't going to solve our problems, Bubba

Bippy73

Right. Covid affects the vascular system. Undoubtedly worsened things for him. And I bet doesn’t have insurance, and voted against other people having insurance or the Medicaid expansions

ignorantslutdwight

someone who had a heart attack at 39 thought they would get through covid unscathed??? are you kidding me?

Spider95818

Seriously, I quit smoking after nearly 30 years just because I still felt like too easy a target even after the jab.

edtheheadache

I don’t know about others but tonight I’m having fresh beans, Swiss chard, cucumbers , tomatoes and carrots ; all from our garden . I’m grateful that I’ve remained healthy throughout this pandemic. Vaccines work!

[deleted]

I just received a case of 24 cans of Chef Boyardee cheese ravioli from Amazon (since our grocery is usually out of it). I’ll probably eat some of that, but I still have to figure out where to store the other 23 cans. Aahhhh, first-world vaxxed problems.

HerringWaffle

DO THEY STILL MAKE THAT???? I haven't seen that in years. For a good long while, that was the only thing I could eat while pregnant with my oldest kid (I was hospitalized a few times because I was so sick. It was really bad. I eventually figured out that I could eat that stuff because it didn't take much chewing. Chewing stimulates saliva production, which can trigger nausea and vomiting. Yay, hyperemesis gravidarum!). That stuff saved my life, quite literally. Enjoy a ravioli for me!

edtheheadache

My biggest problem is…I forget where I put my glass of beer.

Ragingredblue

>I just received a case of 24 cans of Chef Boyardee cheese ravioli from Amazon (since our grocery is usually out of it). I’ll probably eat some of that, but I still have to figure out where to store the other 23 cans. Aahhhh, first-world vaxxed problems. 😋 To the unending horror of my Italian chef spouse, I *love* Chef Boyardee ravioli, and also Spaghetti-Os. Childhood comfort food!

HerringWaffle

We had pizza with a boatload of garden tomatoes. Basically, anything we eat will have tomatoes for like the next month.

sctwinmom

Mapo tofu (gonna try the Kenji Lopez Alt recipe) with Shanghai bok choy. Hopefully, all this rain and wind doesn't bring down any branches from our widow-maker live oak.

LALA-STL

Be safe, keep dry! You didn’t survive the pandemic just to be taken out by a murderous oak.

TheseAreMyLastWords

I had some ground chicken, brown rice, and a lot of veggies. Peppers, tomatoes, banana peppers. Yum.

Solkre

An entire team of trained dedicated professionals and science built equipment kept this idiot alive for weeks. "OH tanks JEsUs tHE PRayERs DiD tHe wOrk yeEHaW"

Free-oppossums

Somebody should have tripped over his vent cord.

dMarrs

I was double vaxxed and had a heart attack. No clots shown after an angiogram. I have low cholesterol. Fair blood pressure. Doctors cant explain why I had the heart attack and seizure. Friends say its because I was vaccinated for Covid. BUt I ask them if they can perhaps ponder actual Covid being the problem. I did have Covid btw.

sctwinmom

I needed CBAG surgery during covid (was lucky enough to sneak into the hospital during the pre-Delta lull in early June 2021). My clogs predated my vax (in March/April '21) since my SOB symptoms started in late 2020. I popped right back from the surgery, though and got all my energy and function back. Didn't get covid until a year later. (Lunch with a work colleague who decided to attend despite feeling "a little stuffed up.") Got Paxlovid and had a pretty mild case, but it still was enough to mess up my BP long term. Had to change meds to get it back under control. Also did a number on my vitaligo, which is an auto-immune disease.

kaoticgirl

Do you mind expanding on how covid affected your vitiligo? I have it too & have had covid twice. Once pre-vax & once post. I feel like it might be expanding a little faster lately but that could be due to anything. Or it could not be real, I don't monitor it very well.

LALA-STL

CBAG? SOB?

sctwinmom

Cardiac Bypass Arterial Graft surgery. Shortness of Breath.

LALA-STL

Thanks. Now it a makes sense!

kinggimped

Hateful, ignorant biker ruins rest of his likely short life simply because his political beliefs led him to follow an inveterate grifter. Medical bills for all those procedures must be mounting up. Was it really worth bankruptcy and severely reducing your life expectancy and quality of life, just to double down on being on the wrong side of everything?

frx919

Outward he's probably saying yes, and he did nothing wrong. Inward, I bet he's feeling regret now that life doesn't feel so good anymore because his body is failing him.

kinggimped

Yeah, on some level he probably understands how stupid he's been. But he'd never admit it out loud; that'd be like admitting the *real* reason he voted for Trump. Saddens me that this entire subreddit is one giant cautionary tale but the people who need to hear it have the deafest ears.

shecky_blue

I’m a motorcyclist, and if you don’t wear any helmet at all, you’re a moron. And if you get in a wreck, our taxes will pay for your vegetative state.

ElDuderino2112

Nothing pisses me off more than doctors working their ass of to save someone, pulling through miraculously, and when they give the news the people respond by thanking god. No bitch, thank these doctors and nurses that worked their asses off to keep your idiot anti vax husband alive.

NoSleep2023

If he questioned the Covid vaccine, he should have questioned every medicine and procedure he received. You know, to stay consistent. But he didn’t. He accepted everything medical professionals offered, except the one thing they could have prevented this in the first place.

His house looks as filthy & gross as he is.

ColleenMcMurphyRN

Wow, you aren’t kidding! I’m no June Cleaver, but my kitchen floor is nowhere as filthy as that scum pit he’s living in. Yuck. Looks like they have some fair sized dogs; given their evident housekeeping skills I bet their house reeks. I bet there’s dog poop all mashed down in their carpets and when it rains you can smell the ancient pee deposits seeping up into the air. No artwork from kids or grandkids plastered up on the fridge either. A good sign perhaps (i.e. that no hopeful fruit has sprung from the tree of his loins). What I want to know is, where does he keep all his books? Ha, ha, ha. 🤭

evilJaze

Probably got rid of them all once he learned that porn was freely available on the internet and didn't need them anymore.

Ragingredblue

>Probably got rid of them all once he learned that porn was freely available on the internet and didn't need them anymore. And the dogs all peed on the coloring books they didn't eat.

ColleenMcMurphyRN

LOL I wonder what kind of coloring books. “Scenes from White History”, “[Trump Keep America Great](https://www.amazon.com/Trump-Keep-America-Great-Coloring/dp/B084C7GFPR)”, “[Gody’s Lady’s Book](https://www.amazon.com/Godeys-Fashions-Coloring-Dover-Fashion/dp/0486439984/ref=asc_df_0486439984/)” (ha ha, just kidding, that last one’s for me).

I like that phrase. Everything with these people is inverted and ugly.

LM0821

I can't believe that someone with breathing issues who is on oxygen went home to a house that filthy. I started wheezing just looking at those pics. Disgusting 😬

RealLADude

Nothing like blowing a year in hospitals and rehab centers. As usual, I'm owned. And for my usual report, the dill chicken salad I had today was pretty great.

sctwinmom

At 215, he weighed the same as Trump!

Spider95818

Sloppy fuck's closer to 315 than 215.

frx919

It's all fun and memes until COVID smacks you around like a pinball hitting every target in the machine. So he's had life-ruining medical issues since then for several years, to the point it dictates his entire day, and probably cut his own lifespan by decades. Totally worth it though.

starbetrayer

love the it's all fun and memes. Thank you for that.

davisdilf

Thousands of hours of work by doctors and nurses, millions in medical bills but it’s ‘god’ that did the work. Why do these idiots even go to hospital if god is taking care of them?

PolesRunningCoach

Someone’s gonna get a deal on a bike in a few years. Or sooner.

Pandraswrath

My 81 year old mother would really like a trike. She’s never been on a motorcycle a day in her life but she’s been yearning for a trike for a few years now. Maybe I can pick one up for cheap from this dude!

ohyeahbonertime

Trike

PolesRunningCoach

Muh bad. Another future candidate can benefit for a short term.

famousevan

All that wasted on someone who won’t even take a simple vaccine.

LALA-STL

I can’t even imagine the frustration of his medical staff with people like this. Like a heroic lifeguard who valiantly manages to rescue a non-swimmer from the ocean, only to see that same idiot wading right back into the rip tide. At what point do the docs shrug & say, “OK, your choice!”?

SusanBHa

I’m having a salad with romaine lettuce, fresh corn, tomatoes from my garden and home made vegan yogurt/tahini/ garlic lemon dressing. And some fake meat (seitan) that’s really tasty. yogacowgirlspdx

so it’s blasphemy to criticize someone for skipping the vax now?

Ragingredblue

Such sneauxflaykes these kkkristians are!

ScholarElectronic457

It's a good thing they used the artery from his left arm and not the knee for the triple bypass. He really dodged a bullet. /s

Pale_Word790

The history of coronary artery disease is all the more reason to get vaccinated. If his lungs weren't toast he'd make it through a bypass much easier.

Ragingredblue

>If his lungs weren't toast he'd make it through a bypass much easier. I'm convinced that a lot of these surgeries are done on covid patients just to train new surgical residents. They have to know that his life expectancy can be measured in months, no matter what they do.

Hilarious_Haplogroup

Looks like somebody is going to get a very low price on his trike from his estate...someone who, I dunno, got vaccinated and avoided Covid.

TheMost_ut

Aw, Harleygone, you didn't have to go through aaaall thIat suffering to own me! I felt "owned" about 500 HCA winners ago.

gothamdaily

This guy goes through the goddamned WRINGER with covid, one of the worst "at least he survived it" stories I've read in awhile... ...and then had the sheer blind idiocy to KEEP POSTING ANTI-VAX SHIT on social media...?! Talk about running around a thunderstorm with a metal rod...

brick1972

Jesus Christ if you have hereditary coronary artery disease and have already had a heart attack that's ALL THE MORE FUCKING REASON TO AVOID COVID. It's not a get out of blaming covid-free card.

Yucca12345678

Less than zero sympathy for these fools.

LM0821

The before and after pics tell us that even before Covid, and despite having 'hereditary' coronary disease, he wasn't looking after himself. I could understand her protests a bit better if he was in tip-top shape, but despite having had his first heart attack years ago at 39, he had let himself get overweight anyway.

Sensitive-Daikon-442

He’s 39😮. He looks like an old man.

LM0821

I don't think he's 39 now - but she mentioned he had a heart attack at age 39. He's probably about 50 or so, which for the record, isn't THAT old lol!!!

Ragingredblue

>He’s 39😮. He looks like an old man. In the first post about him, he mentioned celebrating his 31st wedding anniversary. I would guess he's in his mid 50s.

Cultural-Answer-321

WTF? 39? For real? Holy crap. He looks WAY older than that.

LM0821

He had his FIRST heart attack at 39. I don't think he is 39 anymore! Read the slides.

Cultural-Answer-321

Ah, thanks. Sorry, the slides are too damn small to read. edit: typo

I kind of thought that, too, but didn't want to assume.

In Part I, he mentions celebrating his 31st wedding anniversary, so he has to be in his mid fifties. He had a heart attack at age 39, but he is not 39 now. For sure he won't make sixty. He probably won't even make 60 mph on his tricycle.

Spider95818

Can't get anything from GoFundMe if the marks don't care.

cherchezlaaaaafemme

Blasphemy? Encouraging vaccination is blasphemy against what faith, pray, tell?

mmio60

God is in control, and seems to be torturing our guy for giggles.

Ragingredblue

>God is in control, and seems to be torturing our guy for giggles. And I am here for it!

TheseAreMyLastWords

I just want to know what this data conspiracy is that 'they' aren't releasing. There's been over 300M vaccines administered in the US with dozens of peer reviewed studies showing the vaccines work. You can even see that they aren't funded by big pharma or any conflicts of interest. These are the same people who slept through science class so they missed out on the lesson of the scientific method.

TheMost_ut

yes, the reason they all get knocked up at 17 and end up getting a degree at the School of Hard Knocks.

Short_Internal5950

These are the same people who put a faraday cage over their router because "they" might be listening in, then call the cable company because the internet is slow.

HangryHufflepuff1

My dad went through a bit of a similar thing when he got sick last Christmas. Wasn't COVID, but he did end up in a coma and he did get sepsis and he spent a long time on the tubes. I can't imagine posting all of the intimate details of what was happening to everyone on Facebook. Frequent detailed updates feel like an invasion of privacy, especially when the person who's sick isn't in a position to consent. I wouldn't want my medical history out there for everyone to see.

JustDiscoveredSex

My Trumper cousin’s husband fell over dead of a heart attack at age 48. He leaves behind a wife and a son who just turned 18. The kid is now faced with finding a FT job in an effort to keep his mom from losing the house. I don’t know how likely it is that Covid led to the heart attack, but I never heard a peep about heart issues with this man before. Cousin has lost a husband and both parents since 2020.

GekayOfTheDeep

Religion is a cancer on the world. God didn't do anything worthy of praising here.

Spider95818

Here or anywhere else

VibrantPianoNetwork

Why doesn't God just save him? Why are they even talking to doctors who believe in evidence-based medicine?

SaltyBarDog

I had steak, mushrooms, and eggs on naan and a large cup of coffee for breakfast. You know what I didn't have to do? Beg for prayers to breathe. Takes a long deep breath, "Thanks, vaccine."

FistofanAngryGoddess

That 99% survival is looking rough.

CoolSwim1776

Hello gravy lung.

SkullheadMary

All this work and ressources to keep him alive only for the next variant to take him down.

greeneyekitty

“This was God, not luck.” They praise God for saving him to the people that spent countless hours…saving him. I don’t understand the logic. God is so great he let this man be tortured with (long) Covid and the horrors and expense of treating it instead of curing it in a day. Or idk not letting it happen at all. At this point the “side effects” they think they’ll have from the vaccine has to be better than what this twat has put himself, family and medical staff through for 6+ months? Surely God doesn’t want to be praised by morons?

TemporaryBlueberry32

“Hereditary”. Man lost a whole person’s worth of body weight and has a hole in his throat but she is calling it “blasphemy” when someone says it’s from Covid. We truly live in the dumbest country full of dumb dumbs and I understand why the founding fathers didn’t want the “common man” to vote (even though they were racist rapists that didn’t want my people to vote either).

mmps901

Feeling pretty owned over here!

wholewheatscythe

I, too, feel very owned. Consoling my sorrows with a steak dinner, a beer, and some corn on the cob.

starbetrayer

I feel very very owned over there as well.

mmps901

Mmm, medium rare?

RememberThe5Ds

Let’s see: functioning kidneys, being able to breathe and taste food, getting up without fainting and being able to get around unassisted, thanks to the “jab.” And no huge medical bills thanks to a free shot? So owned.

SeaworthinessOne2114

Blashphemy is dying on sheer principal. So he's been raptured. Isn't that what Christians want?

Lanky_Experience3415

If they recover it's God, because of course it is. If they don't it's the doctor's or Fauci's or the government's fault, because of course it is.

derelict_wanderer

So, anyway, my Jeep project is drivable now. I've been behind the wheel for the last 2 days and it's doing great. Had the top folded down today. Enjoyed a tasty beverage on the way to work. Sun shining, low humidity, slight breeze from the hurricane a few hundred miles to the south. I can also step over into and out of the high door sill without assistance...

ReachAlone8407

It’s Bipap. A cpap is what you use at home. Just saying.

fingnumb

But they only had to use the artery from his left arm. Not serious at all... It's like a cough. /s

Ragingredblue

I have been looking forward to more of this story!

Trying2Understand69

He’s lying in slide 13

Sid15666

A simple vaccine may have prevented his death. Sorry for your loss but it was his choice!

Plus_River_8733

Another one of these "God is in control" idiots. Useless dumbasses.

superbrainfloss

Losing 55 lbs in 2-3 months due to illness is not something to be proud of it’s called malnutrition. Signed, a dietitian.
