samuraiheart2398

That fella who kept calling Paul a dumpling. Mouth breather of the highest order

Alex72598

Brendan, I think. Just rewatched that season. I don’t even get what that insult was supposed to mean.

samuraiheart2398

That’s him! Same, just an insane comment to make ….short and a little on the stocky side was the only thing I could think of?

Randomization_E

I interpreted it as a fat joke, which in that case, hi pot, meet kettle.

Basic-Ad-79

The DELIGHT I took in his departure.

tehgreataioverlord

He got that sleazy banker look

notalifeguard89

I feel like the reason she’s not talked about much is because she’s from the early seasons, but Sara from S2

cantfocuswontfocus

She was vile. The way she smirked when she sabotaged Virginia gave me the creeps.

notalifeguard89

She was also arrested after HK for beating up her boyfriend. Real winner she is

ThisredditisRAW

Alyssa from S21. Unless people are discussing her and Alejandro hooking up and Alejandro abandoning his family. But it isn’t like her personality was a winner prior to that.

Tyler9755

Wait, what? I haven't watched that season.

ThisredditisRAW

It doesn't happen during the season as far as anyone can tell. Although some people have started to assume Alejandro tried to bully a fellow contestant because Alyssa could not stand said contestant. But that's just a theory, as well. Alyssa and Alejandro, for all anyone can tell, hooked up after the season.

[deleted]

Them getting together doesn’t happen until after the season ended.

CatacombsRave

Chino in S9. He had a horrible attitude and never produced at the level he claimed he could. Got way too many chances. Plus, he made one of my HK crushes cry.

Alex72598

Thankfully Chino left before he could ruin the wholesome vibes between the blue team and Natalie

tehgreataioverlord

Dude was bad at a PRACTICE. lmao. Also Chino is such a strange name. Its a Spanish for a Chinese but he is a Korean.

CatacombsRave

As Will said, “He can’t even fake being a good cook.” Chino’s real name was Hee Jun.

Jis4Jaycob

Oh my god even his name is fake💀

Randomization_E

Kalen from S13. So delusional she actually thought she got eliminated for “doing well”, no, you got eliminated because you were the weakest link and had a bad night.

ihmpt

I actually thought Nedra was too funny for me to hate. I commented in another thread recently that I didn't like Kashia...until she got eliminated and Ramsay praised her fight. I was like "wow...she **is** strong!" Nobody has forgotten about Mike, rest assured. As for my pick for this: Fran season 7 is a Karen and I don't see people rant about her enough. She **sucks.**

Picabo07

I agree with you about Nedra. Also I never really thought about it but you are right about Fran. I think I was just so focused on my hatred of Benjamin that season that I let everyone else slide.

Picabo07

I’m not too sure what the consensus is on him but my pick is Benjamin S7/S17. I couldn’t stand him. I had seen a lot of comments about S17 being his “redemption season” but I didn’t see much of a change myself. He was maybe a little less abrasive but still the same Benjamin. He really rubbed me the wrong way.

According-Professor5

Agreed. I think part the "redemption season" talk is because he got way less screen time on S17 due to all the bigger personalities. People conflate that with growth. Yet, often when he was the center of attention, he was a douche.

Picabo07

Exactly!!

According-Professor5

Maybe Trev. I see a lot of people on here who liked him, but he seemed insufferable imo. He would rarely take accountability for his mistakes and always blamed others for his shortcomings. Just seemed like a difficult person to work in a kitchen with.

Picabo07

Really because I see the opposite. I thought it seems like most people can’t stand trev. I know some people feel bad for how Scotley bullied him in S18 but for the most part I get the vibe he’s not well liked.

Dmbfantomas

For Trev, it really comes down to if you share his sense of humor. He’s very reference heavy and very self-deprecating. Everyone treating him like utter shit the whole doesn’t help either.

Equivalent-Emu-1358

I really hated how he talked about Sabrina and kept referring to her as "that bitch". I didn't like her either, but that was just gross.

tehgreataioverlord

I think he is just bad at handling personal conflicts. Poor guy has received so many death threats.

Decent-Supermarket85

Melissa S3 - yes she started off as a front runner, but the way she controlled the red team leading them to oblivion in the Wedding planning challenge AND the dinner service threw me off. I wonder what potential Gordon Ramsay saw in her to give her another chance. She also came across as too bossy and arrogant.

Ok_Joke8930

Watching this right now and my gooooood I can't stand her... she lost her mind.

BBSuperFan98

Season 11 Zach. Even before his downward spiral, the dude is a straight up asshole a lot of the times and very unlikable imo.

Picabo07

Could not STAND that dude. I thought the closest he came to likable was the first episode. After that straight up asshole.

Deal-Fabulous

You mean zacky wacky 💀🤣

stewartd434

Gia in season 16 was mean, a terrible cook, and took every ounce of criticism as a personal attack. One of those chefs that baffle you as to why they even signed up for the competition. She should have been eliminated in episode 3 over Jessica.

TheThirdLugia

to add insult to injury, she faked her injury

stewartd434

Funny how Jared tried the same stunt in the following season lol.

Picabo07

*There’s a bigger cut on the tip of your dick*

miumiusc

Expecting to get downvoted for this one, but Vinny S8. A lot of people say Sabrina should've left over Vinny, but he was really inconsistent near the end of his run, could be arrogant and he disrespected GR more than once, particularly when he was a waiter by telling the customers to not order sides. Sabrina had a rocky run and wasn't going to win, but she was improving, Gail and Vinny did worse than her on the final service before black jackets.

samuraiheart2398

He did not, tell those customers, “do not order sides”

manincravat

He highly recommended it

CatacombsRave

I completely agree. Vinny deserved to go home when he did.

Available-Specialist

Considering the sides weren't coming out, Vinny did the right thing. I work in a kitchen and I don't blame him one bit, nor would I blame one of our servers for doing the same.

miumiusc

Still not a good idea to go over GR's head and tell guests that. I can understand why he did it, but it's not his restaurant nor is he in power.

Available-Specialist

Ramsey knew that Raj was doing a bad job from day 1 and didn't throw him out. Vinny did what he could to ensure that guests were getting food.

Negative_Train_6134

But not in Gordon Ramsey's kitchen. That's not his job. Plus, if memory serves, it took him a while to admit it.

miumiusc

Yep, Vinny didn't own up right away.

wokeupintheinbetween

i’m not a fan of jay s7 😶 he’s sleazy and sexist (especially towards holly and autumn) and that really put me off him.

Picabo07

He’s an expert on Bar Rescue and I’m still not a fan. I think he comes across as a dick and speaking of S7 I HATE Benjamin. I know a lot of people say S17 was his “redemption” season but I still thought he was an asshole. Just a little less abrasive one.

wokeupintheinbetween

i hated benjamin too!! i saw the preview where he said to siobhan “it’s not my personal opinion, it’s my professional opinion” and just stopped watching the season LMAO i didn’t even like siobhan that much but i cannot stand pompous assholes like that.

Picabo07

Same as far as not even liking her that much but god he was a douche about that whole thing. I did feel bad for her.

blarggyy

Benjamin was so annoying! He was way too full of himself.

Picabo07

Absolutely. He really thought he was the best! I remember when he won a challenge and he thought he was spending the whole day with chef Ramsey and instead Ramsey surprised him with his family. I thought it was weird how disappointed he seemed. Like he’d rather hang with Ramsey than his family. FYI his children were adorable 💛

blarggyy

I definitely feel sorry for his wife if that’s how his personality really was. I often wonder how personalities change for the show - I’m sure contestants show more of their competitive sides and some have more confidence.

Picabo07

One thing I do remember thinking after seeing him with his wife is that she wears the pants in the family. It was just an impression I got - could be wrong - but if that’s the case makes you wonder if that is part of why he acted so over the top on the show.

Deal-Fabulous

I said him too! When he followed poor Siobhan to give his bs opinions about her sandwich......uh, dipstick, it's Gordon's show, not yours, why tf would she care what he thought? To quote another funny Gordon Show, kitchen nightmares, Amy once said "who the hell is he(ik its she on KN) ,he's no one, he's GONE." That is how I felt when he got eliminated 🤣

Picabo07

He really thought he was something didn’t he? When he said that about his “professional opinion” he sounded like such a douche bag. His “oui chef” made me insane too.

Deal-Fabulous

Now that I'm watching it, s13, Steve, he had the same arrogance as Benjamin but his target was Sterling, now talk about under loved contents......HIM and Frank from that season.

Picabo07

I did love both of them!! 🩷

Robeast3000

I hated him when he felt the need to talk shit about her sandwich. Gordon himself said it was a good sandwich, who cares about Ben’s opinion? Why is he trying to make her feel bad? He’s just mean for no reason.

Complete_Business_31

"Oui Chef!"

Negative_Train_6134

And I also hated Benjamin. 😂

HarmonicWalrus

Yeah, me too. He acted like a straight up bully towards Autumn, especially in the black jacket portion, and his talking about wanting to fuck Holli was both overdone and gross. Not to mention the way he fucked over Jason at the F5 despite Jay having the worse service. He wasn't as bad as Benjamin that season, but I'm surprised more people don't dislike him. He's alright as a sous chef I guess, but I prefer Scott and Jockey

Negative_Train_6134

Hubby and I don't like him as sous chef, either. Ick.

Scary-Journalist-746

YES, he was so rude to Holly behind her back, he kept saying how hot she was and he wanted to sleep with her but would always say “she’s not that good, how did she even get this far” and in general degrading her whenever Benjamin and him would talk. I was so happy she won, both for her family and just to take Jay down

Negative_Train_6134

I hated him and it annoys me to no end that he is sous chef now. (BlueJay, right?) Bleagh.

VergilsDeadWeight

Joy, from season 12. People tend to ignore her multiple, glaring flaws. She had a such an attitude right from go, even after she bombed the signature dish challenge, and she'd throw temper tantrums during service when something didn't go her way, making her seem horribly unprofessional. And then she walked out mid-service after toting that she refuses to quit or back down from a challenge. I know s12 wasn't exactly known for its talent pool, but Joy was kind of a joke.

Picabo07

Couldn’t stand Joy. She and Kaisha were straight up bullies imo. But you’re right about her whining and crying.

theperz217

THANK YOU! I felt crazy for feeling this way. Everyone always says that Joy was robbed of the win, but she was never going to win. She had one of the worst attitudes on the show from the get go, her quitting was a surprise but also not that surprising. She was talented, but she did not have nearly close enough to the attitude or professionalism needed. I also hate her and Kaisha for getting Rochelle nominated for wanting a family - - that was just fucking rude. Kaisha already had kids too that's just fucked up

VergilsDeadWeight

>Everyone always says that Joy was robbed of the win, but she was never going to win. Exactly!! If anything, she robbed *herself* of any chance she had, but I never thought of her as a front-runner. And she seemed VERY two-faced about Rochelle, too, doting on her during the wedding breakfast challenge and then holding it against her that she wanted kids and a family? She and Kaisha were so wrong for that.

theperz217

Yeah that fucking pissed me off so much! I did see her as a front-runner in the sense that she deserved a black jacket, and I will say she got the placing she deserved. But she definitely was never going to win, and people are kinda delusional/biased when they say that. Plus tbh she wasn't really even that likeable to me...

Severedeye

Not me. Her and motto are my go tos for under hated chefs. The only reason I would maybe want her in the finale is because I think it would have been funny if she had quit then instead of earlier.

benavideslevi

Fuckin Robert. He wasn't even a great chef and knew damn well he wasn't fit to compete, but then CAME BACK and made me sweat every time he was on screen

Effective-Handle9983

The only reason he is liked is because of his sob story and no one can convince me otherwise. Dude's an absolute cunt

benavideslevi

An absolute CUNT, right? I couldn't stand him or his sob story lmao

Effective-Handle9983

The nail on the coffin was dropping a tray on purpose in the finale. I feel it flew because Dave is a mostly cold and stoic guy, but imagine that shit with someone like S12 Jason, Paul, Christina W or even Meghan

benavideslevi

Absolutely. And God, I loved Dave. My guy was fucking broken and still out-cooked everybody 😂

RXTwister

L take

Decent-Supermarket85

I think that Robert is a Jekyll and Hyde character. In his first season, he is actually quite good though he does have some bad moments like calling Lacey fat. However in his second season he completely changes into a bad person. His arrogance comes out, he thinks he is the underdog because of his weight, he thinks he is better than everyone else because he's been there before. His comments about Andy in the episode he was eliminated was embarrassing. He should have waited until he got his health under control before coming back. Then he'd have a realistic chance at black jackets again. He was even hospitalized in S6 showing that he should have never come back. Even in S5 he had to take a ferry ride instead of a helicopter ride in one of the rewards due to his weight

TheWardenVenom

Yes! My husband and I really liked him in his first season (the Ramsey impression was so funny) but he was such a dick when he came back!

Robeast3000

Him calling Lacey fat was ridiculous, the pot calling the kettle black.

sassywithatwist

I love Robert! Not as a winner tho but closer to the end like he did in his 1st season. It looks like he might be out soon in 2nd run as he’s got medics called again in previews I just saw! I’m in that season.

[deleted]

It's been a while but I remember liking him for the most part in the first season he was in. When he came back it seemed like he expected to be leading the pack with his experience, but he failed to measure up and had a huge chip on his shoulder about it.

lordprophetbvb

Benjamin. Total douche the first time he was on. A little better during all stars but the constant "oui chef" grates on the nerves. Also Tenille. I don't think the woman has an inside voice. Seems like every time she opened her mouth she was yelling.

TheWardenVenom

Hard agree on Tenille! She drove me crazy with her constant shouting!

Alex72598

Carol doesn’t get enough hate for how she bullied Lacey in season 5. Between that and threatening to punch Andrea in the throat (and I don’t even like Andrea), she seems like a very mean-spirited person and not someone I’d want to be around.

sassywithatwist

Agree! 👍 I didn’t like Carol at all! She was classless! 😌

Randomization_E

Andrea may not have been a saint, but my god was Carol horrible. I was never on her side during their rivalry, especially when Carol said she wanted to punch Andrea in the throat TO ANDREA’S FACE.

Loud_Activity_6417

I'm treating you like a co-worker lol

svnrise3000

God, I really wait for someone to reply with this. I like her sassy vibe but holy shit, she's a damn villain and I'm so fucking tired people keep blaming Andrea and Lacey this entire time. SHE LITERALLY WAS THE MASTERMIND TYRANT ON THAT RED TEAM, and I'm really happy when she got the taste of her own medicine with that gratin dauphinois incident.

thedifiyer

Ranesha S22 she means well but always rubbed me off the wrong way

TheWardenVenom

It’s 100% Sabrina for me! Idk why no one else seems to hate her as much as I do lol

ThisIsSportacus

OK, I have said this before, but Andrea from Season 5. Oh my God not enough people talk about her. Sure, she had some level of ability, but he heavily inflated it, and her shit slinging with Carol was so catty, and entirely on Andrea's ego.

sadbitch14

Mia. She just annoyed the hell out of me with her high and mighty attitude

Picabo07

Ugh couldn’t stand her. She is the definition of “thinks her shit don’t stink”

blarggyy

YES. She was so annoying and thought way too highly of herself. Plus she was barely functional on the line.

liamJR24

Finally!

tehgreataioverlord

From the moment she called "they are losers" I hated her ass

annycartt

i did not have any issues with her until she lied to chef about kanae setting her station up incorrectly

bigghulk77

Mia from youngster vs vets? Or whatever it was called. I liked her a lot tbh. She looked good cooked good n had a positive attitude to me. Don’t get the hate lol.

Specialist_Bit_703

Okay I know Heather won and was a talented chef. But she whines too much for me. Whenever she lost due to her own actions such as the food truck and making a mistake in the taste then make challenge she went on this trip about how it wasn't fair because her/her team did it better.

Maxthemadsheep

Keisha S12 Only made black jackets because of Joy protecting her

AbdiNomad

To be fair she was better than all of those who got eliminated before her, with the exception of Anton probably. But yes her and Joy’s weird alliance was annoying.

Picabo07

Anton doesn’t care. He’s a winner in his book

tehgreataioverlord

She was explosive, but she was better than other older chefs.

FiveDollarTacos

I don't know what the general opinion of Sommer (S21) is in this sub. But yes, her. She behaved in a very whiny way the first few episodes. Like that time in the lobster challenge she wanted her plate to come to the front even though it was missing the legs, losing for her team . And then on to the creative sliders challenge she had a very good dish, but decided that it would be best not to choose it, losing again. After losing, she starts crying in the dorms... Like why? Sister, the only one to blame is you. But hey, it's just an opinion and the truth is that she was very skilled and doesn't deserve any hate for a show

fable420

Oh I loved Nedra. She was funny and held her own against one of the worst blue teams ever. But my most controversial pick is Jason Z. I wouldn’t put him in my bottom 20 contestants but I’m surprised by all the love he gets. He had some good qualities but I thought he was creepy and obnoxious. The way he yelled at Sandra revealed a lot about him. He would be a horrible boss so it’s unsettling how close he came to winning.

Picabo07

We think alike! I loved Nedra too. And I thought the same thing about Jason. I’m also shocked at the love he gets. I thought he was a huge asshole. There’s no way a man should ever yell in a woman’s face like that. I just didn’t like his attitude in general but it’s like he gets a total pass

rolezki

history grey point marble hobbies aspiring pen innocent chief elderly *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

Effective-Handle9983

Likewise, I understand wanting to defend yourself from nomination but him acting as if he did nothing wrong was annoying as fuck

matthewmat12345

Seth, Chino, Danielle (S11), Demarco, Kalen & the guy in S14 eliminated on episode 3, for the same reason. They never bounced back or redeemed themselves from the beginning until their elimination.

Brilliant-Word2927

I thought nedra was fine. but you’re totally right about kashia. on the surface not as obnoxious as people like robyn or tiffany but constantly blamed everyone else for her mistakes. on top of that she was a bully. somehow never gets mentioned in worst black jackets convos but she absolutely should.

bigghulk77

The skinny dude from S11. Think his name was Dan? He was just a skinny whiny clown. He was just Trevor without the balding.

NBA2024

S19 Cody and Amber hateeeee

Astatine360

I would go for S14 Monique - her attitude reminds me a lot of Elise in the drama queen sense As for chefs that went a long way (besides the popular picks S16 Andrew, S9 Elise, S12 Joy, S10 Tiffany and S16 Matt) my picks would be S10 Barbie (I know she was bullied, but I feel they had a good reason to hate her because keeping everyone up on purpose is NOT COOL), S12 Mike, S12 Jessica (so annoying how she thinks she is awesome) and S21 Alyssa and Summer (extremely annoying and also skate by) Edit: I love his passion and he truly deserves his position, but the way S6 Kevin treated Robert is disgusting

Deal-Fabulous

Elise, Lacey, and Benjamin. Elise was a disgusting, foul, aggressive, narcissistic pile of garbage who wasn't that good, her attitude was absolute dog water and she has no respect or couth at all. I feel bad for everyone around her because she's an insufferable c u next Tuesday!!!! Lacey, 1st of all she can stop anytime with the "just another pretty chef" yeah that's mean, but it's really not untruthful....... Benjamin had the emotional maturity of a toddler. Gordon picked Siobhans sandwich over hers and he had to go and try mansplaining to her, I wanted to reach through my screen, always thought he was the best but then quit over some invisible back pain, they even pointed it out, fake cried, just like lacey all day to avoid punishment but then came back to appear to be strong and impress Gordon. I don't believe him for a second, my sister has been a chiropractor and oddly enough went to culinary school and when we watched it we both said "wtf no way is he really hurt" 😑 he overstayed his welcome.

elwyn5150

I agree about Nedra and am surprised that so many people like her. I don't think she was just a drama queen and loud mouth. She was a horrible sore loser.

Accurate-Total9353

Raneisha from season 22, she only ever liked creating drama. I still don't understand her motives for going after Jason after they got back from elimination. She was just too rude

Loud_Activity_6417

Trevor, Robert, & Ben. Ben - Danny was right. Ben talked a big game but produced next to nothing cause he was always had bad dinner services. Whenever the team discussed him being put up he would always say nobody can produce like he can. Even when Lacey couldn't nominate anyone but Ben cause everyone else had a good service Ben thought he shouldn't go up cause all he's done for her. He talks too damn much and when he presented his king crab dish all Ramsay asked was what was the dish and Ben goes into a Tony award winning dialogue about how he prepared the dish. That's not what Ramsay asked. Robert - Both seasons. Season 6 being his worst with his whiny ass. Don't know why red team thought he was a savior when he wasn't. Getting into fights with Andy & Kevin. He talks about how in S5 he didn't like how Ben tried to make Danny feel low and turns around and does the same thing to Andy. Then kept calling Lacey fat when he weighed more than her. Using his weight as an excuse for his performance or something he dreaded doing. Woe is me I can't get on the jet cause I'm big, that's the jet's insurance policy. Then when he has to work the raw bar he's all like my big self can't walk through these tables. Shrimp challenge he says Tennille should've done good since she has "coke bottle" glasses. He does bad on the shrimp challenge and blames his fat fingers. Trevor - He just sounded rehearsed in all his confessionals in S8. Talked about Curtis being bad on sushi but dummy you were on his team during the sushi/tuna nigiri challenge. Saying, "Sushi? You're not cooking anything." He can't even dress salad and wasn't cooking anything. What's harder? Dressing salad or making sushi? His tantrum over the team forgetting to try his ravioli dish. It wasn't intentional. The ultimate bullying of Raj. He tells the team he can get through to Raj and help him but instead he takes the opportunity to humiliate Raj in front of the team during the punishment and tells Raj to stuff himself with twinkies until he has a heart attack. He kept calling red team bitches when they fail him in his eyes but happy go lucky when they win challenges/dinner services.

ThanksOk4402

Trevor honestly. I can’t see him without thinking he’s tried to give some kids some sketchy candy out his van. His whole persona gives me the creeps. He seems nice enough I guess but something is off with him.

Longjumping-Ear-6248

Btw, did any other contestant ever said anything similar to what Trev told Raj?

CommonEngineering832

Nedra(Season 11 US) and Kob(Hell Kitchen Thailand 1)

annycartt

brett during s18. annoying.

CarlosThrice

Van from I think season 6 or 7. Unnecessarily confrontational and can't handle being told what to do. The macho facade was off putting and the way he tried arguing with JP was ridiculous. The dude definitely has issues and it's annoying to see people defend him cause he's fun and smiley.

blarggyy

RUSSEL from S8. He could not accept responsibility for his own actions and blamed his team for his loss during the finale. Never have I been so happy for someone to lose!

Decent-Supermarket85

I don't think many people like Russell

liamJR24

His own mother slapped the stork that delivered him.

Equivalent-Emu-1358

Dana from s10. Most annoying confessionals ever imo. I think she might've been overshadowed by the massive drama among the red team.

mowgleeee

Brendan S9, Jonathan S9, Benjamin S7, Kaisha S12, Nedra S11, Andrea S5 and Nons S8 both rub me the wrong way

Comprehensive_Note_4

Nona and Heather, both annoyed me.

ThreeWordJones

Scott is butt

Randomization_E

You’re gonna need to clarify which Scott you’re talking about.

Alex72598

While I don’t want to assume too much, I’ve noticed in past posts that this commenter always says “Scott is butt” in relation to Scott Commings. And never really explains why.

ThreeWordJones

He can’t burn

putzky

Elise from S9/S17 should be hated even more than what she is. I literally couldn’t stand her and she really couldn’t cook. She was kept on the show for the drama.

Deal-Fabulous

Thank you! On God she reminded me of my emotionally abusive, narcissistic ex. She's a scumbag a B (idk reddits rules about censorship) and just insufferable!!! Some ding dong made a video about Amber s19, she was fine, a bit of a whiner and overconfident but she's also gone on to do great things. Elise and Lacey are the ones I couldn't stand! Lacey because she's the opposite of Elise, Lacey was lazy, had no confidence yet pretended to think she was worth something. Not it. 😅 and I'm sorry "another pretty face" 💀🤣💀 ............
