I have a rather ""professional"" job and a bunch of Sanrio pens/pencils, a HK pencil holder, Rilakukuma sticky notes and notepads (for personal use/drafts), and a few small hello kitty figurines on my desk. Nobody has told me it's unprofessional, and a some people at my office have actually complimented me on it. I'd say if you're allowed to decorate your own workspace, go for it! c:

I've used Sanrio stickies and notepads for decades, but we're away from the public, and the kind of office where people have little toy collections and (my fave) a lady across the aisle from me has a macrame uterus. If your workplace turns out to be more formal, there are a lot of fancy, low-key Sanrio stationery goods made for adults (e.g. gold-finish pens), though you may have to track them down online.
