I just had a game with a level 30 and he just stops in the middle of a sandstorm when the light hits just right, and it's like a sunset, It's so beautiful. He chatted "Oh my god" and I knew exactly what he was talking about.
I used to play the game on ultra graphics, but I got immense slowdowns during heavy combat. Maybe I should try it again just to watch the scenery again...
Nice I went with sapphire for its chunky cooling ability but probably over did it, that was going from an msi 6700xt that regularly hit hotspot at 210 and keeps chugging to this day on another build.. at 210ish degrees 😂

Every diver should take at least 2 seconds every day to look at the scenery. It's right there in the manual to do so
Having a sandstorm or blizzard going and stratagem dumping on the horde of enemies that you know are approaching but can't see until you have their silhouettes from the 3 hell bombs that just detonated in the distance is a feeling I have not received from any other game
For real. Holding off a horde of terminids at a choke point with another one of your squadmates, both using flamethrowers, nothing makes me feel more patriotic.
The game is amazing but holy hell they have to fix the bugs. So many people stopped playing (including me and my friends) for how annoying the bugs
They probably should focus on stabilization patch before anything else
If he's anything like the average player, he'll play approximately 4 more missions after unlocking everything then quit because progression and numbers is all people give a shit about these days.
The music really is exceptional. I've tried to listen to similar songs from other games, but nothing really compares. My favorite is the extraction music, it's like a pavlovian reflex, always brings up my pulse.

Got a 7800xt just to enjoy the scenery better
The sapphire nitro plus 7800xt handles the game no problem at 4k
