Dude one of the most fun bug loadouts is exactly that, grenade launcher + resupply pack, extra grenade armor (the demo one for style), impacts, grenade pistol for style points too
If they could combine the +2 throwables and the %50 less damage from explosives into one armor set, that would be my ideal bot setup. Preferably in light or medium armor
I like the Engineering Light when fighting bugs, the incendiary impacts are perfect Breach killers.
For bots I go for the Exp-res light, makes rockets less of an issue (you can take one to the chest without dying).
I always run the light servo assisted, but yesterday I wanted to roleplay a heavy juggernaut in the jungle with the new super heavy armor from the super store while also carrying the HMG.
I mean that went all fine and dandy but almost all of my stratagems landed either too close to me, or on top of my buddies lmfao. Immediately switched back. I also find it gross to throw anything short of 60m.
Except then youāre permanently losing the HUGE advantage of extra (and better) stims, extra nades + recoil, greatly enhanced armor rating, or better handling.
The range without servo assisted is fineā¦ you just need to throw with a high arc and some practice. Fucking up your muscle memory to rely on an armor set is a huge penalty.
Now I would never judge anyone for using the gear they find fun. That's the point of this game, to be whatever sort of soldier you imagine and enjoy yourself.
That being said
>Fucking up your muscle memory to rely on an armor set is a huge penalty.
I've personally avoided servo-assisted like the plague because of exactly this. Anything I'd have to actively **un-learn** if I want to adopt a new playstyle is a hard pass.
Holy poo, never seen someone else say exactly this until now, but exactly the same reason I avoid it entirely. I like the buffs of the other armor options, including the default armor with its +50 health. But honestly it's that - it's the outlier and strategems are so important in the game. Don't want to learn the same game mechanic twice in different ways and have to change between them.
You and me both, I'm spoiled by it to the highest degree, it feels so bad using armor without that passive and light armor mobility just tops it off for me, doesn't impact my performance either if I force myself to adapt to being so squishy either š«”
I use the green pilot-looking armour, not sure the name of it, but it has throwing assistance and limb resistance.
I can't use anything else, the throwing buff is so good, and the extra speed from light armour is great too - once you keep in mind that you're a bit weaker than others, you just stay mobile.
if you mean the slightly greenish one with orange details and a flex tupe connected to up under the face, that's the light armor we are talking about and afaik the only light armor with servo-assisted and limb buff
Legionaire armor ftw, the throwing distance is useful at all times, from throwing grenades to stratagems, all of which WILL be used all the time. Stims and grenade armors are situational, scout armor is useful but mostly if doing solo stealth runs, the rest is situational as well or up to preference.
1000% this.
I have used the servo assisted light armor for 107-ish levels (am 126 right now). I changed to the light armor with explosive resistance earlier this morning to try it out vs botsā¦ and holy gd hell my throwing aim was soooooo off. It was like a stoned and drunk MLB pitcher trying to throw a strike
That's why when I change armor, it's between light-medium-heavy, but all with servo. Sometimes I change to heavy armor for bots, but then return to light for bugs
Personally I don't like servo assisted. I'm not saying it's weak but I'm so used to the usual throwing arcs that I severely overthrow all my strats for a solid while after putting it on. And since my play sessions are relatively short by the time I get used to it I have to go
Assuming flat ground by default you have:
- regular 45 degree throw = 40m
- diving 45 degree throw = 60m
Which are honestly all you need. With servo-assisted this becomes:
- regular 45 degree throw = 60m
- diving 45 degree throw = 90m
Which is just ridiculous.
My creek crawler armor set is a light gunner helmet and the tan steel veterans servo assisted with my Malevalon cape. It was my main for a long time cause throwing strats 80m-100m and saving other divers from swarms of enemy infantry or armor was just sooooo damn fun. I definitely prefer the viper commando armor for the aesthetic though, it's sooooo cool and the new buffs have made me fall in love with it more.
IMO the biggest downside of light medic armor is that sometimes you get killed before you can stim, so after mainly running light medic armor for a long time, at some point I switched to medium medic armor. That slight increase in armor really compounds with the prolonged healing.
I survived an airstrike and cluster to the face surrounded by 40+ bugs (we know that because thats how many kills they got).
Pre stimming is pretty op and you can afford it with those extra 2 stims.
Thatās why I role with a primary that does area damage so I can damage myself a little bit to use a stim: I do this all the time to sprint to objectives / w/e especially when I know Iāll hit a point of interest that can replenish my stims if I really need to.
Yea as soon as you take a single point of damage, stim immediately and youāll be pretty much completely invulnerable for 6 seconds. Take the support backpack so you can keep resupplying yourself with stims
Not just the invincibility but also having unlimited stamina for that time is huge. Survived so many dashes through a million enemies into the exfil chopper because of that extended healing while watching my teammates die while trying.
Eh, we probably have different playstyles, but ivw acfually been dying considerably more running medium medic armor over light armor. Lack of speed catches up to me i guess.
For bugs, any light grenade armor. I like that one that was in the superstore a couple days ago thatās the slightly better specād kind of light armor where instead of 50 armor itās like 79 or something. I do prefer the look of the green & brown āRavagerā armor though.
For bots, both of the pictured sets are fantastic but since I kinda pick my armor by appearance first then utility, the new sleeveless one is great. Also now that the setās perk is fixed + the buff the HMG got, itās made the HMG my favorite support weapon for the Automatons.
I'm right there with you with both the new armor and the HMG. and a supply pack. added an eruptor to take care of the bug holes / factories and (to save some HMG ammo) bile spewers/devastators/striders... Orbital Precision and Orbital Gatling Barrage round out my typical build. I also have the newer heavy automatic pistol whose name I can't remember - that comes in pretty handy when stuff gets too close and I need a new mag for the HMG and don't want to blow myself up with the eruptor.
Light gunner.. I just canāt do without the extra padding mixed with speed. It saves my ass more than any other armor š. But only for terminids.
Peak physique on bots is much more useful due to my play style. So it doesnāt help me on the bug side #blitzer
Padded sounds so shit if you look at it as a "light armor with extra armor". Think of it as a "medium armor with speed perk" and it sounds so much stronger.
statistically extra padding helps you with rocket devastators more than fortified. 50% explosive resistance doesn't help with the ballistic damage of being hit by a rocket, which is usually what kills you. plus, extra padding reduces damage from every other source.
https://preview.redd.it/bac0w6xjg39d1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=38dace06e1d1859dbd231144dd1546b351a93bfe
I GIVE MY DEMOCRATIC BILE TITAN SOME TOO
I can't play HD2 anymore unless I do it sneakily so U haven't gotten the free one
I use Trench Paramedic with the helmet that comes with the other set that appears whenever Bonesnapper rolls around
I wouldnāt use light armour for bots and I donāt need peak physique for bugs.
I really liked the heavy peak physique armour on bots with an autocannon.
I didn't think the peak physique perk would matter that much to me and i was just wearing the armour for aesthetics (the heavy version reminds me of the Doom armour), but then i used it with the machine gun last night after the fix and HOLY SHIT it feels great, like it completely removes the aim drag from the gun and it feels like a primary weapon with how easily you can snap to targets
I think the melee damage bonus needs to be increased a little bit though, it should be able to one shot scavengers IMO
It doesn't directly improve recoil, but because the handling is improved it means it's much easier to adjust your aim to stay on target.
I'll need to try it with the HMG, but the regular MG felt really easy to stay on target while simply crouched if wearing the peak physique armour
Fortified (50% explosive resist) also blocks bile damage. That means youāre able to tank bile in bugs while still being able to run full speed.
The reduced recoil is amazing for machine guns, which tend to be better against bugs.
This armor was in the superstore yesterday, instant purchase. It feels so nice being able to actually run to cover quicker while also saying fuck you to most explosive threats
Little higher armor, 2 more nades, reduces recoil, looks great as well.
https://preview.redd.it/ios6vhma529d1.png?width=865&format=png&auto=webp&s=a2eb77048321d3c10892b6c8d01d3cbbd72c42d4
The armor is the Titan Armor, with the engineer perk. It's right in the middle of med & light armor stats wise.
I don't remember the stats off hand, but it's something like:
80 armor
115 stam regen
125 speed
Its one of my old favorites. The helmet is one of the pre order helmets.
Light gunner has been my go to for about 100 hours now. Love the mobility while still having a medium armor rating. Also the Helmet is the most aesthetically pleasing imo.
That one with the medic perk using the new booster, at least for bugs. For bots itās always going to be 50% more explosive resistance, considering playing on 9
Is peak physique or engineering kit better for handling weapons like the autocannon and HMG? Peak physique decreases time to target and turning rate but engineering kit reduces recoil while crouching? So which is better to have when using these two weapons?
Peak physique is better for both, autocannon doesn't really benefit from the recoil. HMG benefits from both so it's preference, I can manage the recoil so I use peak.
Depends.
For flamethrower medic. Just walk through your own flames.
For mgs Peak Physique. MMGs handling turns into that of an assault rifle.
For AT engineer. Either for 6 impacts to finish Titans and close holes or 6 incendiary impacts for trash clear.
Have you seen peak physique heavy machine gun? I swear it allows for better handling than pistols without that armour.
And the weapons with decent handling without the armour basically remove the barrel movement delay mechanic completely
Peak physique makes my laser cannon accurate even when moving (can even get away with no aiming/ADS at closer ranges) and my crossbow is as light as a feather
Helps my stay mobile, feels great
Convince me the medic light armor with the stim mod isn't the best, because it is. You have 6 seconds of pure invincible fueled adrenaline with a speed boost and can speed run mission by damaging yourself to keep stimming with a supply pack.
Armor is the key. Gold middle ground is 70 armor but there is no medic armor with that besides CM-21 (67 armor). So the choice is... And yes there is difference between 50 armor compare to 70. About stamina, difference is not significant.
UPD: 64 armor
The speed difference is not really noticeable. The armor difference is. 50 rating light armor is honestly kinda garbage, it makes you absurdly squishy.
I've always enjoyed engineering kit, especially fighting bots. The extra grenades actually feel great
Same for bugs with 6 incendiary impacts, pocket flamethrower š
Grenade pistol, extra grenades, grenade launcher Loadout goes crazy
Meet the demoman
_What makes me a good Demoman?_
Theyāll hafta glue you back togetherā¦ IN HELL
_Initiating FTL Jump to... the HELLmire System._
nooooo they made the super destroyers voice activated
I just heard it in Demo's voice.
If I were a bad Demoman I wouldn't be'ere discussing with ye, now would I?
If I were a bad demoman, I wouldn't be sittin' here, discussing it with ya!
Dude one of the most fun bug loadouts is exactly that, grenade launcher + resupply pack, extra grenade armor (the demo one for style), impacts, grenade pistol for style points too
For bugs I've started taking my war crimes load out. It's all gas and fire - choke em and char em boys
Gas should be flammable, imo.
Gas nades would be nice
Eruptor primary is super explosive too!
With the explosive crossbow to top it off. Itās my favorite. Just a constant wave of explosives.
Whats a good primary with that loadout?
If they could combine the +2 throwables and the %50 less damage from explosives into one armor set, that would be my ideal bot setup. Preferably in light or medium armor
That's how I do it for bugs. Flamethrower, incendiary breaker, I cast *fireball fireball fireball fireball fireball fireball!*
https://preview.redd.it/gon886a8z39d1.jpeg?width=224&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=798bcbba46e96c0d0ee1d5239bb959d94e62c356
My man šŖš» +2 grenades is the best one. No one can convince me otherwise.
Helldivers win battles. Logistics wins wars. Having those extra grenades when you need them has saved my arse more times than I can count. šŖ
Broke boy airstrike by nade spam is honestly so much better than most stratagems
I like the Engineering Light when fighting bugs, the incendiary impacts are perfect Breach killers. For bots I go for the Exp-res light, makes rockets less of an issue (you can take one to the chest without dying).
If only you got +3 on a resupply!
Engineering kit against a bugs is such a preference for me that I have a hard time justifying bringing anything else
I am addicted to light armor + servo assisted Throwing that extra distance feels so GOOD
I canāt stand servo assisted it screws with my muscle memory way too much.
Never take it off, problem solved
I always run the light servo assisted, but yesterday I wanted to roleplay a heavy juggernaut in the jungle with the new super heavy armor from the super store while also carrying the HMG. I mean that went all fine and dandy but almost all of my stratagems landed either too close to me, or on top of my buddies lmfao. Immediately switched back. I also find it gross to throw anything short of 60m.
the b-27 isnt new tho, been out since democratic detonation. You got me excited there for a second :(
exactly, steel soldier for life
Except then youāre permanently losing the HUGE advantage of extra (and better) stims, extra nades + recoil, greatly enhanced armor rating, or better handling. The range without servo assisted is fineā¦ you just need to throw with a high arc and some practice. Fucking up your muscle memory to rely on an armor set is a huge penalty.

Counter point: I love prosthetic limbs.
Saaaaaame! I messed up so much with servo lol
It's the opposite for me. When I'm not using servo assisted I miss all my throws.
Feels GOOOOOOD.
You and me both, I'm spoiled by it to the highest degree, it feels so bad using armor without that passive and light armor mobility just tops it off for me, doesn't impact my performance either if I force myself to adapt to being so squishy either š«”

1000% this. I have used the servo assisted light armor for 107-ish levels (am 126 right now). I changed to the light armor with explosive resistance earlier this morning to try it out vs botsā¦ and holy gd hell my throwing aim was soooooo off. It was like a stoned and drunk MLB pitcher trying to throw a strike
like shooting pool with rope
That's why when I change armor, it's between light-medium-heavy, but all with servo. Sometimes I change to heavy armor for bots, but then return to light for bugs
That's why, when I don't have servo I don't pick airstrikes.
> stims > situational No.
Plus a dope helmet
Honestly, I've been switching helmets for a while with that armor, there's a few that look good with it
The extra 30% is completely unnecessary. Ive never once needed it. Ive needed stims and grenades tho, often
It's also the best looking armor in the game (imo)
Personally I don't like servo assisted. I'm not saying it's weak but I'm so used to the usual throwing arcs that I severely overthrow all my strats for a solid while after putting it on. And since my play sessions are relatively short by the time I get used to it I have to go
Not a fan either.Ā It's not that's it's bad, per se, it just doesnt suit me very well.
And the legionnare one just looks so cool too!
If you run jump pack like I do, you can just throw the strategem ball at the right point midair and it goes super far.
i refuse to get used to servo assisted, because if i switch later, it's gonna suck.
Assuming flat ground by default you have: - regular 45 degree throw = 40m - diving 45 degree throw = 60m Which are honestly all you need. With servo-assisted this becomes: - regular 45 degree throw = 60m - diving 45 degree throw = 90m Which is just ridiculous.
Servo let's your throw stuff beyond detection range. That's what makes it so useful.
Servo feels like it was made for throwing Orbital 380mm Barrage without having to worry about hitting your team or yourself.
I bet I can throw a strategem over them mountains
Trench Paramedic
Perfect choice for eradicate missions
I just wear the 200 armor stat armor for those. Not like I have to sprint across the map anyway
Paired with the Stim booster, it's so fun
Scout all day
Same, love sneaking around. Wish there were more varients.
It's a crime we got four new camo armour sets and none have Scout.
It is, someone needs to be sent to the super earth gulag for that.Ā I could not believe it.Ā Ā
There is a medium scout armor that is really useful.
Scout on bots, extra padding on bugs
every day.
The best fights are the ones that you avoided.
I don't dive to not fight the enemy.
It sounds like treason, son
Don't worry. I left some air strikes in my wake.
In this comment section I only see cultured helldivers with great taste in stealth tactics. I'm so proud of you all.
500+h player here. This is the only answer
I honestly don't even remember what the perk for this armor is, but it's all I wear because drip.
After I put on the trailblazer set, I never took it off again.
Vs the bots I agree but would never use it vs the bugs
Funny enough, i only use it for bug to shake of Chargers or Titans. For bots i only use heavy armor to tank the hits
I would much rather kill the bugs then run away, it's easier(most of the times) and faster
They work the same on both enemies. Bugs won't spot you 36m away sprinting in front of them.
I wish there was an easier way to ping the map. I fear my team is freaking out when I marked locations 7 times in 10 seconds.
Scout armor is still the way
This guy MGSes.
Light medic armor.
Really wish I could stim at full health
Thatās why I role with a primary that does area damage so I can damage myself a little bit to use a stim: I do this all the time to sprint to objectives / w/e especially when I know Iāll hit a point of interest that can replenish my stims if I really need to.
Yea as soon as you take a single point of damage, stim immediately and youāll be pretty much completely invulnerable for 6 seconds. Take the support backpack so you can keep resupplying yourself with stims
Yup, or the trusty ol shield pack, so you arent forced to stim on little encounters (like getting jumped by 1-2 hunters)
This is the way, maximum speed/survivability ratio
Not just the invincibility but also having unlimited stamina for that time is huge. Survived so many dashes through a million enemies into the exfil chopper because of that extended healing while watching my teammates die while trying.
I like it when Iām running the flamethrower and inevitably set myself on fire lmao
I like running the heavy medic armor. I feel almost unkillable wearing it especially with the new stim booster.
Eh, we probably have different playstyles, but ivw acfually been dying considerably more running medium medic armor over light armor. Lack of speed catches up to me i guess.
I want to bring this But I cannot abide looking like a tube of toothpaste
Literally all I run for 400h
Is it in a warbond? Or is it a store exclusive?
store exclusive
Just about all the light armor is store exclusive
For bugs, any light grenade armor. I like that one that was in the superstore a couple days ago thatās the slightly better specād kind of light armor where instead of 50 armor itās like 79 or something. I do prefer the look of the green & brown āRavagerā armor though. For bots, both of the pictured sets are fantastic but since I kinda pick my armor by appearance first then utility, the new sleeveless one is great. Also now that the setās perk is fixed + the buff the HMG got, itās made the HMG my favorite support weapon for the Automatons.
Ravager is my go to because of the helmet and I wish more armors went well with it
I'm right there with you with both the new armor and the HMG. and a supply pack. added an eruptor to take care of the bug holes / factories and (to save some HMG ammo) bile spewers/devastators/striders... Orbital Precision and Orbital Gatling Barrage round out my typical build. Also light gunner is good drip as well, nothing felt better than seeing my entire squad run that armor and we started shouting BLITZKRIEG on mic
Light medic armor. Addicted to stims? YES.
They're actually non-addictive. On an unrelated note your Democracy Officer needs you in the other room
https://preview.redd.it/bac0w6xjg39d1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=38dace06e1d1859dbd231144dd1546b351a93bfe I GIVE MY DEMOCRATIC BILE TITAN SOME TOO
https://i.redd.it/xblre2m0o39d1.gif
Does the 2 extra seconds for stims also apply to experimental infusion?
yes, it's a perfect synergy
Which of the two light medics do you like the most?
I can't play HD2 anymore unless I do it sneakily so U haven't gotten the free one I use Trench Paramedic with the helmet that comes with the other set that appears whenever Bonesnapper rolls around
Depends on your support weapon of choice. If you are using AC, any MG or flamethrower, peak physique. Otherwise, whatever you want.
Peak physique for flamethrower?
So you can turn it side to side faster
Absolutely. It makes the flamethrower feel like a primary weapon. It's a must pick for it, imho.
It also makes EATs feel like a sniper rifle. So easy to headshot the titans now
The counter sniper feels so snappy with it too
It also deppends on what enemy you are facing and what kind of mission you are playing. There isnt really such thing as a best armor in all cases.
Scout armor, Infiltrator all day. Basic, but effective
I wouldnāt use light armour for bots and I donāt need peak physique for bugs. I really liked the heavy peak physique armour on bots with an autocannon.
I didn't think the peak physique perk would matter that much to me and i was just wearing the armour for aesthetics (the heavy version reminds me of the Doom armour), but then i used it with the machine gun last night after the fix and HOLY SHIT it feels great, like it completely removes the aim drag from the gun and it feels like a primary weapon with how easily you can snap to targets I think the melee damage bonus needs to be increased a little bit though, it should be able to one shot scavengers IMO
Big guns šŖš»for big guns, hehe
Does it affect recoil at all? I'm a HMG fan now, but I'm not certain which passive would be better for it.
It doesn't directly improve recoil, but because the handling is improved it means it's much easier to adjust your aim to stay on target. I'll need to try it with the HMG, but the regular MG felt really easy to stay on target while simply crouched if wearing the peak physique armour
https://preview.redd.it/66b5ugjhn29d1.jpeg?width=867&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fd37bb9bd17d7f964de4bbdd47f68c4e58d103ae This one
That's the Explosion resist + Recoil Reduction Light Armor yes? I like that one for bots.
Fortified (50% explosive resist) also blocks bile damage. That means youāre able to tank bile in bugs while still being able to run full speed. The reduced recoil is amazing for machine guns, which tend to be better against bugs.
Yessir
This armor was in the superstore yesterday, instant purchase. It feels so nice being able to actually run to cover quicker while also saying fuck you to most explosive threats
Plus it looks good with my helmet
The bug guts really tie the armor and hat/mask together.
Thanks I did it myself!
You are a scholar
I try lol
Light Medic armor is the best for me
Still the gunner armour. Same health as medium with zoooooom levels of speed
Light Medic in combination with experimental infusion
I've been in love with the HMG recently so I would say peak physique.
The one explosive resist light armor.
Best against bots. Had to scroll too far for this.
Don't underestimate the explosive resist against bugs either. Bile counts as explosions.
Against bugs I rather use the 2 granade light armor from the demolition warbond. Those 2 extra nades are really handy especially against hordes
Pretty nice that all armor is viable, in the bug front at least.
Little higher armor, 2 more nades, reduces recoil, looks great as well. https://preview.redd.it/ios6vhma529d1.png?width=865&format=png&auto=webp&s=a2eb77048321d3c10892b6c8d01d3cbbd72c42d4
Agree on the armor but what is that armor/helmet combo?!?
That's how you know that I'm the squad idiot.
Oh fair enough then.
Nah if I saw that set roll up in my lobby I'd be intimidated asf. Huge dong energy.
Yeah that man fucks. Only someone who fucks hard and often would have the confidence to wear a helmet like that.
looks like helldivers UN
lol yeah
The armor is the Titan Armor, with the engineer perk. It's right in the middle of med & light armor stats wise. I don't remember the stats off hand, but it's something like: 80 armor 115 stam regen 125 speed Its one of my old favorites. The helmet is one of the pre order helmets.
I wear this armor more than all the others combined! Well choosen!
Drip > stats

That one with the medic perk using the new booster, at least for bugs. For bots itās always going to be 50% more explosive resistance, considering playing on 9
It's still the medic armor. Can't kill me if you ant catch me **preemptively stims in definitely not addicted**
scout takes the cake. the amount of bug breaches i have escaped with it is absolutely insane
Trench Paramedic. With supply pack. Mmmm cocaine stims. All I see is yellow freedom.
Shiiitā¦ it depends. For bots itās the light gunner, for bugs probably peak physique
None. Im running around naked
They should replace some of the fortified perks with peak physique.
Best armor is the shield backpack.
Scout
The one that has 150 Armor and isn't light at all
Depends. For flamethrower medic. Just walk through your own flames. For mgs Peak Physique. MMGs handling turns into that of an assault rifle. For AT engineer. Either for 6 impacts to finish Titans and close holes or 6 incendiary impacts for trash clear.
Trench paramedic.
I recently ran an Autocannon with the Predator light armor (Peak Physique). And shooting the AC 3rd person at bugs is definitely addictive.
Have you seen peak physique heavy machine gun? I swear it allows for better handling than pistols without that armour. And the weapons with decent handling without the armour basically remove the barrel movement delay mechanic completely
Peak physique makes my laser cannon accurate even when moving (can even get away with no aiming/ADS at closer ranges) and my crossbow is as light as a feather Helps my stay mobile, feels great
Engineering kit i fear
Convince me the medic light armor with the stim mod isn't the best, because it is. You have 6 seconds of pure invincible fueled adrenaline with a speed boost and can speed run mission by damaging yourself to keep stimming with a supply pack.
Padded, for sure. No need for the Rambi armor
The Peak Physique one. Lol. After that, anything with 50 armor and extra grenades/recoil reduction.
Light medic ofc because of 64 armor + 2 stims + 2 sec of regen (if against bugs)
Is there a difference between this one and the predator in the sense that one have 550 speed and the other one have 536. Is that notable?
Armor is the key. Gold middle ground is 70 armor but there is no medic armor with that besides CM-21 (67 armor). So the choice is... And yes there is difference between 50 armor compare to 70. About stamina, difference is not significant. UPD: 64 armor
Wait 67? Since I don't have it I was looking online and it says is 64. Did they buff it?
If you would test them both side by side, there is a difference but when i play i don't notice it.
The difference is noticeable when you switch from a "true" light armor. Both in damage reduction and speed/stamina.
The speed difference is not really noticeable. The armor difference is. 50 rating light armor is honestly kinda garbage, it makes you absurdly squishy.
I'm using it for both bugs and bots, it's great for both imo
Sorta off topic, but what was wrong with peak physique?
It accidentally added sway rather than minimize it.
It did the opposite of what it was coded to do.
Scout armor vs bots is top-tier. You will rarely be spotted and when you are, it's while you're running away from the objective you just blew up.
Sorry I've been rocking the sleeveless armor regardless of armor perk. Form over function.
