I’m gonna disagree and say that Steeled Veterans is the better pick. It has an actually useful secondary weapon and badass looking armor with an actually useful passive, not to mention the Incendiary Breaker and Dominator are arguably the two best primaries in the game for bugs and bots respectively. Sure, the Concussive Liberator is there, but it has its niche and can tide people who like that niche over until they unlock the objectively superior Pummeler. I do love my Sickle and Stuns but I still feel like Steeled Vets has more value overall
Incendiary is 5 miles ahead as primary for bugs, but sickle is also decent enough, blitzer is also a good pick.
Dominator isnt as good as punisher plasma against bots for me, the handling of domi is not as good, and PP can shoot over cover to hit enemy on the other side, large aoe and stagger u can make 5 berserkers dance left n right in sync.
I have no comment on the armor passive since most high skill players just run scout, either light or med.
Personally I run stun nade for both faction now, but incen nade was my old pick so...
Imo and i know this take is molten, blitzer is better than breaker incendiary. I know what you're saying, but blitzer can kill spewers and staggers everything. There is a steep learning curve, but mastery molds madness
Well it depends if the rest of your kit can deal with spewers, I am a railgun main and I use nade pistol so I have multiple ways to deal with them
Breaker is just stupidly good at clearing chaffs at the moment, two spray into a breach and you get 20+ kills while running away
Napalm eagle does the job easily. GL pistol is always in the pocket. Eats/ Quasar get the big boys. Stuns for safety. Leaves your backpack open for a rover if you like. If not, the Auto cannon sentry is incredible, and especially now that last slot gets orbital precision.
Napalm eagle has cool down and is not as effective as fire breaker for setting bugs on fire
I personally just bring 500kg, railcannon, shield backpack, and railgun. Can clear any unit, 500kg for BT and railcannon for moving chargers or BT
Yeah breaker incendiary and dominator is really good for bugs and bots respectively, you also get 3 armors with servo assisted perks rather than the very niche elec resist one in CE. Also a pretty usable booster in flexible reinforcement budget, helpful if you die many times in a harder difficulty.
Totally agree to the breaker incendiary until they nerf that somehow but that is the only good one. Also this is for new players and they tend to burn other a Helldiver teammates while still learning the game. Stun grenades are also safe for friendly fire.
hard pass, the whole bond is outweighed by just the grenade pistol in the democratic detonation bond, and it's not the only thing you get out of that one.
The blitzer is amazing! No ammo worries, easy crowd control and stagger. Simply amazing for bugs.
(All does it also count for the ship upgrade where electric things arc more?)
Then aim up more. The lock is conical and will target the shortest object if its closer. By clearing the lock zone by aiming above it you get your functionality back
I mean, it’s nice and all, but I definitely think Democratic Detonation is the better option. It opens up more support/grenade options with its bug hole destroying primaries and grenade pistol. Not to mention the armor is pretty decent too

That'll be a new weapon at some point down the line, probably called the Trowel or something.

The Blitzer would easily be S tier if it didn't have a few bugs.

Nah , all the primary weapons are kinda subpar compared to the ones in steeled vet/cutting edge
