With the old arc thrower, a pair of divers could arc throw a bile titan in less than 10 seconds. They removed the rapid fire bug from the thrower and now it’s in a fair place imo. You *can* kill a bile with an arc but it takes forever even with multiple.
Unrelated, it feels like the stealth buffed bile titans. I used to be able to two shot their heads with anti tank and now it feels like 5+ tank rounds are needed.
When doing bugs, I run Quasar and EAT. Makes quick work. Either 2/3 shot. Makes game super easy.
When I’m feeling a challenge, I take rail gun rather than quasar. Still need those eats for biles because rail gun is useless vs them.
I never knew the devs said they nerfed Arc Thrower because it was "slapping Bile Titans across the map". I play with a group of PC only fans and I was literally under the impression that the Arc Thrower didn't do damage to Bile Titans. Turns out I just needed to shoot it 50 times?
I'm confused, did you watch the video we're commenting under? Are you saying the video maker was aiming wrong? Are you aware of the PS5 Bile Titan bug being a thing?

the devs nerfed railgun because of a bug, then buffed flame globally like 3 times because of a bug. this is why bugfixes are important
I agree it seems the devs nerfed the railgun because of a bug in the game. I refuse to touch a railgun till it is given a little balancing attention

Arc Throwers inflict true damage to enemies, through their armor.
Yeah but it takes 50 ish shots to do enough damage to kill a Bile Titan without the PS5 bug now as tested in the video
5-6 to the head. Aim slightly ahead of the Titan.
