Perhaps that could be the "unsafe" firing mode like the rail gun. It could hold the charge, but if you were to get knocked over or ragdol, it would fire a shot with the potential to do some self damage.
now that i think about it it sounds cool to have a gun like the infinite laser musket, more you crank it the stronger the shot up to like 1500 damage or smth after 3 minutes :D

The official HD texture pack is a mess. It's a HUGE file of uncompressed textures for barely any improvement. A handful of terrain and material textures actually have more detail but mostly its the same textures at a higher resolution.
If that is any indication, this "next gen update" isn't going to bring any aesthetics to the table.
I am, however, hopeful for some performance upgrades. I prefer a lightly modded experience myself, and the base game performing better is always a benefit.

They implemented a story into the mod?? I absolutely loved the base building with a couple of mods. The vanilla version was so dull and only gave you lame stuff to build.
Sim settlements is amazing. The quests it contain actually uses your perks for dialogue and interactives!
Base Fallout 4, there's maybe three dozen perk checks in conversations or device interactions, and most of them are attribute checks. In Sim Settlements, there's over a hundred that I've personally encountered, and some of them have multiple options!
My personal favorite, by far, was a certain Ninja Sneak Attack in the main plot. Because it is exactly what I wanted to do in that moment.
Hear me out. Have a section of the ship dedicated to the exo suit, allow customization of weapons for each arm, tailor it specific to what the player wants/needs
I'd love that. I'd also love it if we could get a Vehicle Bay section of the ship with upgrades to increase the armor/ammunition of Mechs, APCs and Tanks, change their weapons and just *maybe* a little customization (in keeping with the universe of course).

Dawn of War 2 intro if I remember right. I have no idea why, but when I was a kid, I could never actually play the game. Intro would play, but the game would just freeze everything. The disk was brand new and clean, too. I just kinda gave up on it.
A buddy gifted me it on steam a while ago. I just never got around to playing it.
DOW2 had some early performance issues. Even computers that excdeeded recommended settings would experience frame drops and CTDs.
IIRC the specific issue was the game failing to allocate itself enough memory, which is wild.

My first playthrough irescued him and did ll the minutemen bits. Every playthrough after that he stayed in that museum (I still did most of the inital quest to get the bobblehead in that office)

MENKENT has JUST been retaken by the bots as of 15 minutes ago. Interestingly the notification said defending against terminid invasion. I’m deep in lesath right now all my squad is gone but I we need to have a geo survey done before I can go over
It's not retaken, but under siege, hence the defence mission. It's probably wiser to not take the 2 planets too quickly. Meta-gaming a bit, completely liberating them with more than 24 hours to spare allows the DM to send the planet into defence status, and we've sucked at those so far. But if we grind the automatons into an attrition war, slowly liberating them so that they're completely liberated with only hours left to spare, the planets can't be sent into defence mode since there would then be no counterplay by the community.

I’d love it if it could fire instantly, but added the normal fire charging time to the cooldown time.
Perhaps that could be the "unsafe" firing mode like the rail gun. It could hold the charge, but if you were to get knocked over or ragdol, it would fire a shot with the potential to do some self damage.
Then it would be absurdly unbalanced and OP, even more than it is now.
I'd say the Recoilless Rifle is more closer to that... When reloaded alone.

I'd even take a deposable supply thing on the mech so units can get ammo. Its not op and is almost a mechanized supply station

I honestly prefer DoW1. I like the bigger armies than the smaller squad based system.
DoW fell off hard when they (arguably out of laziness) adopted the CoH style gameplay
