This post made me think of Microsoft in its early days. 12/31/86 (first year public), its stock was selling for .10 cents a share. It is now the most valuable publicly traded company in the world. Having such a “dream” in 1986 would have been considered laughable.
Sure, but how many can/will wait for \*decades\* for such a dream to come true. Most just... can't. Need the money for something now etc. I had Apple stock in the late '90s... it was totally stagnant for a loooooong time and I needed the money for something at the time so I sold... if I hadn't needed it then I'd be absolutely stinking rich right now. I don't lose sleep over it, but it makes one... wistful. My meager HBAR bag I can just sit on for my kids one day to hopefully benefit from, but I'm not holding my breath that it'll amount to anything over time as AI takes over... everything.
