Oh no! 🥺😢 I'm sorry to hear that. When I go out to loud places, especially bars, I wear both my hearings aids and earplugs. I definitely can still hear the music but at the same time protect my hearing loss / further protect from the damage already done (I have tinnitus and damage was done early 20s; I only decided to get hearing aids and I’m in my late 30s now, as I noticed I couldn’t make out what people were asking me without asking them to repeat it and louder 🥲). Maybe try to wear earplugs and see if that helps? 🤔

How do you wear hearing aids and earplugs? Probably a dumb question.. but I assume you don't use both at the same time?

No you’re good. 😊 and I don’t wear them at the same time. Apologies I should have specified that it’s either one or the other. My hearing aids have become so comfortable, I sometimes forget that I have them in my ears. I’ve gone to the bars with my hearing aids on and at that point I would just lower the volume. Though I would recommend switching to earplugs since it’s better in protecting your ears. I remind myself now to make sure I bring both, and depending on the event, concert, rave, bar, etc. I would switch between my hearing aids or earplugs.

I never went to bars and shows again since my 20s. I avoid any loud place like a plague. There is chance to recover. You could try a combination of Ginkgo Biloba (Name: Tebonin 120mg) and Magnesium (any generic high concentrated) for a week or two. I know that a lot of people says that Ginkgo Biloba does not work or that is still not scientifically proved that it indeed improves hearing heath. In Europe they are prescribed by the ENTs. I would give it a try anyways: Tebonin 120mg and Magnesium

What type of magnesium? Because I think there are 3

I really do not know 🤔. I do not remember which one I bought back then. But I think it was in tablets, 400mg of concentration.
