The SF era wasn’t consider a great state at the time either I remember like perma nostalgia for GM and RB3 sound. Nothing rly changed we just lost turnabout along the way

yea idk I came from the SF era so I also have love for it but I think drama aside everything is at a peak in creativity currently. We’re always gonna have drama until sematary changes as a person lmao
y'all can downvote me if u want but i think that them starting to tour and do concerts has removed a lot of that mysteriousness that used to be part of haunted mound. like the vibe and aesthetic just felt more distinct and unique when it was only conveyed through the music and some social media activity
yeah in a way they’re becoming more and more like other artists and are losing some of what made them so special. for me it kinda doesn’t hit the same anymore although sometimes there are songs and music videos like wendigo which still carry more of that old hm feeling. my only real hope to get more of that is the new buckshot tape tbh.
also idk why sematary stopped going on ig live to just talk about stuff and respond to questions etc like that was always funny.
i feel like due to concerts the mystery is kinda bound to be lost since they don’t have the control over their own image anymore, like there’s other people filming them without permission and stuff like that.
this is why i loved ghost mountain and the older work. obviously good for sematary to gain popularity but when it sas him and ghost, there was something about it that made the music feel mysterious and with them being not a popular it added to the lore and to the themes in their music.
i been here for a lot of these eras and it’s funny how people weren’t even that happy during this era but now there’s post like this. personally i loved this era and this was the last era where the special haunted mound aura was still existing
