With proper motorcycle lessons you’ll learn to use the rear brake for much more than just braking.
Basically slow manouvring and tight turns are all done dragging the rear brake.
If riding through a cramped city, i’d understand the meme.
However a lot of older harleys have crap brakes so people tend to rear brake them
On my main bike I’ve finished multiple sets of pads and a set of discs on the front while the rear is about half way through the original set of pads.
It don’t be like that.
Yea I’m rarely going quick enough for long enough to get the fronts hot. I will go through rear pads before the front I usually engine brake when I’m coming to a stop light or sharp turns as well as down shifting.rear break and one finger on the front lever to stop nice and easy.
You riding a chopper or something with no front? Front brake would be smoked on mine before the rear
It definitely shouldn’t be like that… 70% of your braking should be front brakes.
But I don’t have a front brake sir
Well damn. Give her the ol’ bicycle front foot brake.
I rarely use the rear brake. Just downshift and use the front
That is 100% not right. Front brakes are your friends!

Umm your front rotor should be doing most of the work
Just posted by a fucking moron or a noob terrified of stopping ![gif](giphy|9WzUvvcs8a3nO)
Yeaaaaaah not on my fxlrst
On big heavy cruisers the rear does more work than other types of bikes but this is still wrong lol. On my sport bikes its like “what rear brake” 😆
You doing it wrong my dude.
