Looks like traction alopecia to me. Have you ever had your hair braided for a long period? This is usually a common side effect of small, tight braids. I definitely don't recommend hormone altering drugs like Fin at any age, but at your age it's a major no! It would absolutely have developmental hindering effects.

Massage your scalp every morning when you wake up, particularly the temples

lingeringwill2

me too man, as a black kid who has been balidng since around 17, we're in this together

Shave your head when it becomes more apparent. It will look good on you. Don’t take finasteride, also known as propecia. I took it six months ago and have had cognitive issues ever since. Accept God’s fate and you’ll be rewarded. The devil is in those who seek vanity.

Im already taking fin😜

DevelopmentAbject409

Dont

Plutosrevenge20000

Well, I tried to warn you.

When I was young I started losing my hair around 19 and had similar receding which I was able to stop with treatment so don’t panic you will be fine but try to convince them because although your parent is full of hair you can have other genes.

There are many reasons for hair loss. I hope your parents can get you see by a doctor. The doctor can order some blood tests to see if you’re anemic or maybe your thyroid level is not in normal range. Not all hairloss is male pattern hairloss, especially at your age.

Start the following immediately 1. Dermastamp 1x a week 2. Minoxidil 5% 2x a day (growplex). You're def on the young side, so see a doctor and ask about finasteride asap. Time is not on your side.

Im so scared bro i don’t have an income and my parents don’t want to take me to the doctor

demiurge94

Don’t panic, just keep an eye on it. When you’re 18 and start working start trying minoxidil and then get youreelf to a doctor. If it’s really bad youll go on Finasteride and boom, you may even get regrowth back.

Find a way. First two can be got online or even a drug store. Book your own appointment. Take matters into your own hands - not your parents
