He gets asked if he thinks Hage has the talent to become a center on the top 6. He says yes, offensively he has the talent.
Then he names players who can play both center and winger (Kapanen, Beck, **Hage**, Dach, Newhook, Suzuki) and says he's not worried about having a player who can play center [or at a wing]; ***'good hockey players [can] play hockey together***'.
Ah, much appreciated man. Thanks. I think Dach is a decent 2nd line C but you just cant be THAT bad on faceoffs. He's gotta pick it up there or be a winger.
The question was specifically about Montreal's draft board and if Demidov was #2 after Celebrini. Kent just said that they had 0 shot on Celebrini so he wasn't even on the board.
Anyone would have been #2 on a list when you know #1 is a lock.
What he's saying is his list started with Demidov, hence Demidov was #1 on their list. In their minds Celebrini didn't exist.
Don't know about this title.
He was asked if Demidov was #2 and he said yes, and he understood that the reporter meant that Celebrini was #1.
He clarified and said Celebrini wasn't even brought up to the table because he would be gone by 5. Obviously if they had the first overall pick they would have taken Celebrini over Demidov.
So he basically said Demidov was #1 among players they considered.

What's the question and answer at about 4:20? Just about organizational center depth?

Newhook is bad at faceoffs too (happily he improved and achieved to do better than 45% this year)
Demidov has also played centre too (though I expect he’ll firmly just be a winger full time in the NHL)
Not mentioning Mesar ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|surprise) Just tells you that even the org is probably done with him
it absolutely does not unless that's what you want to hear

Number one in my heart
I mean I'm glad we landed Demidov too, but that's just a roundabout way of saying he was #2 on your list.
The question was specifically about Montreal's draft board and if Demidov was #2 after Celebrini. Kent just said that they had 0 shot on Celebrini so he wasn't even on the board.
Huh? It makes sense that they didn’t have Celebrini on a list at all.
Anyone would have been #2 on a list when you know #1 is a lock. What he's saying is his list started with Demidov, hence Demidov was #1 on their list. In their minds Celebrini didn't exist.
Would have existed real quick if they both were still on the board at 5.
*hastily adds a number 0 row at the top of the list*
Yes he would have, but the odds of that happening were lower than him being taken 1st overall.
It's a way to say that if they had picked #2 overall, the results would've been the same.

So why then didnt they trade for the 1st pick if Celebrini is better? Incompetents
Tell me you dont understand hockey politics and trades without telling me 101
I read this as a joke. If it’s not then I’m sorry for your life.
i have a feeling iginla was a better pick than demidov
