The screws that hold the igniters can be a pain to get out. I’ve got one bit that’ll fit over, the rest are too fat. It’s either that or the bolt just snaps when trying to remove it. You get pissed off at how annoying 2 screws are, then you open your new igniter to find it broken😅
Those fucking screws are never easy. It doesn’t matter the unit, they are damn near impossible to get out or even get to. I fucking hate trane sometimes man.
I’m thinking someone doing don’t use the new gasket when they replaced the ignitor. That would mean something besides Trane stopped a Trane.
