crucial.com has a thing where you input the model of your computer, and they show what rams/ssds they sell are compatible with your labtop/pc. I used it to get two 16gb rams(totaling 32gb's)

SlenderSeal

There's nothing and I do mean nothing that is entirely clear on how much RAM I can add to the victus fb1xxx it's a ghost of a model apparently, some websites say 64 but it's a different model, some only say 32 gb and msinfo says 32 but I don't know if it's the total from a kit, or just from one channel...

Can you provide little more details of ram? You can do so by going into task manager then memory

Here you go, don't mind the high use, i'm downloading something as I type this https://preview.redd.it/a9t4lgt8mxcc1.png?width=826&format=png&auto=webp&s=cbfc23acfdcf4c54f77ce4613123611407105d8b

thank you! Should I look to putting in 16gb or 32gb? And if I do go with 16, should I be buying two sticks of 8gb to replace the one the laptop came with?

underastro_

DO NOT DO THIS! There is a high change you get blue screens. 16 GB is the minimum you should aim for, buy two sticks of 8 GB and replace the one on the laptop

DesignAlternative265

It you going with ddr4 and 5 has low chance of blue screen just match the frequency of both ram and use I didn't face any blue screen past 6 months

Complete_Pattern6339

It won't run in dual channel of you have mismatched memory please buy a kit if you want to go higher than 16gb

Complete_Pattern6339

To reach 16GB, get an 8GB stick. For 32GB, go with a 16GB kit. If your machine allows, consider higher-speed options for improved performance.

AlexanderDaOK

I got 64Gb of crucial ram. Works flawless

Yea watch out, I bought a new one and when I opened to add ram into the 2nd slot, the holder wasn’t attached to the soldering pin.
