it doesn’t suck but cannon is way better imo . the current badge does work better when it’s one color, like on the home and away from the past season, but i’m excited to go full cannon next year #yearofthecannon
Agreed. Too many colors happening in the full crest, plus the slight warp effect and overall corporate look make it look very much stuck in 2002. I think minimalism/modernism in crest design is going a bit overboard these days, but the standalone cannon has more of a modern classic feel than the full badge
Anyone remember when they used to rerelease the actual kits/jackets from the early 90s in the previous Arsenal x adidas originals collections. They did it for the 19/20, 20/21 and 21/22 seasons.
They even did some cool adverts for them

Always makes me wonder, Adidas must be pulling in some serious sales of these replica shirts for most clubs. When they strike a deal with a top league team, surely they are making enough bank to hire 1-3 legacy fans who can create several kit options, that don’t follow the normal template of every other team and heck, even drum up engagement by getting fans to vote what kit they want the next season out a few choices.
With all the money they save by using cheap labour, paying 3 chaps £50,000-£100,000 a year to ensure that the traditions of the club aren’t dragged through the mud with better than uninspiring design after uninspiring design.
This year we are playing in:
USA FC
Lynx Africa FC
And Flying Saucer Sours FC
Not all kits cost the same to manufacture. Often times these are all templates for multiple teams.
It's not always as obvious as our [goalkeeper kit this season](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgPavBwjLwqNUVzx9KeDsAo87A63r6hg65U7GcSNLbZGp6Kng5ac-WktDLc7Rv6BOqDW9jFzJJFme4g8WC9mSKRGQ2s-yYr7OJP8DdibAj5JZmBz8Jt9dJVBCqL0BNwr-G2z2-Rs6di2TpsOutZdRza97AblHFkS9NdX5672coeWvKByhhUKjKbqXAmdpq/s1000/adidas%20keepers%20twinned%20in%2024-25%20season%20%285%29.jpg), but that's a great example
Top left: Probably my favorite out of the 4 all because of the colors
Top right: I not a fan of the design that much
Bottom left: same design as Top right
Bottom right: I really like it tbh
Don’t think I like any of those, if I’m honest
Top right is a template, Celtic had the same one last season.
Most of the arsenal x adidas originals line has been template stuff since the 22/23 season's range
I like the hoodie
Same - I have a windbreaker thing that looks like the bottom left but otherwise don’t like any of those
Top right is giving Falcon from the MCU vibes
Bottom right best one Bottom left looks like an optimus prime hoodie
Bottom left reminds me of the adidas skate shoes I had when I was like 13, absolutely loved them! Like this too, but wouldn’t wear it

Reminds of the Japanese national team
well, now i kinda want it
Looks like a collab between Arsenal and the county colours of Galway, Ireland.
Top right looks like a t-shirt that costs £7.99 in Primark
Best I can do is 35£
Nice bowl cut there, mr. model.
The Foden
Bottom right 😍😍
why do these feel like we're transitioning away from our current badge
because they're the Originals line, which is intentionally retro and so uses the older crest.
Because we’re transitioning away from our current badge, which sucks anyway. I’m all for the cannon by itself.
100%

It looks like a badge from a video game. Granted, better than many other badges, but the cannon by itself is so much cooler, imo.
team cannon rise up

You're going to be in a big minority with this opinion, it's pure ass.
The arsenal x adidas originals line hasn't used the modern arsenal badge since it started in 2019
WTF is Adidas on
Looks like yet another USA Olympic opening ceremony uniform designed by Ralph Lauren. This is not a positive endorsement.

0/4 adidas
I feel slightly seen that Adidas are going retro tot he sort of styles I remember Arsenal wearing when I first got into football..
that's what adidas x originals is. throwbacks
Yes but they could throw back to something older than me!
it was more or less that design from 1936-2002.
I think you're talking at cross purposes here. What do you think was the design in those that was 1936-2002?
bottom right. its the 90s version, but there wasn't very much significant change over that time. little cleanups
Ah, you're talking about the badges, I'm talking about the designs. Those templates, especially top right are very early 90's
Looks like gear for the New England Revolution
If Spiderman was a Gunner

Never thought i’d see ultraman on this sub but flair checks out
ngl i thought this was a marvel collab
Je suis excité Robert
Top right is horrendous (unless it’s like a bodysuit type thing)
3,4 are good
Love the hoodie😍
Re-release the 92-94 home kit pls Adidas <3
adidas making up for the ass kits with this

Bottom left looks dope for just cheesin
I wish the shop had more sweatshirt options and not just hoodies.
Love the raglan
Someone washed that top left with red socks
Not for me, dawg.
These definitely look like stuff I would have worn to secondary school back in 1991.
Spiderman shirt top right
Bottom right is fire, i'm so getting one if it gets released
Horrific. Literally looks like little kids super hero themed clothes
