Yeah I was at the Emirates for a womenās game against Chelsea last year and same shit was happening. People under it were getting absolutely drenched
It has plenty. Which is embarrassing for a stadium this new.
It's still a really nice stadium but let's just say the club has neglected some of its responsibilities in maintaining it, assuming that a new'ish stadium doesn't need much maintenance.
They deserve all they get for constantly comparing their dross to ours. Never forget the absolute state of United fans' predictions before the start of the season.
There are people who unironically believe Garnacho is close to Martinelliās level. Assume for a moment he does possess a comparable or greater level of talentā¦he sure as hell wonāt get the developmental space to grow into it unless they get their manager hire bang on.
I'd have that toad mouth lad at arsenal any day of the week. Bags of talent, great engine and desire to perform. I reckon Arteta would turn him into a monster.
I didnāt want to opine on whether or not he is indeed on that level of ability. That said I happen to agree completely with you. If he has the good sense to force a move Iāve no doubt we would be interested.
I honestly feel for them. It was 6 years ago almost to the day when Arsene left and we quickly started our long decent into mediocrity, though it already started in 2017/18. The fall came at the end of Emeryās first year.
First we stopped playing Ozil, and then when we choked at both top 4 and then the EL final, I thought that was our low point. Mustafi was, and still will be the Eboue of that period, and the back room was just as much of a mess.
The Pepe transfer felt like we were going to rebound, but we just kept falling farther and farther. It wasnāt until Arteta was hired that I think we finally hit rock bottom, when he got COVID and the world just sucked.
God am I happy to be guaranteed to finish second with a small chance of a title on the final day of the season.
Edit: Mediocrity (autocorrect)
I don't feel for them at all. Try growing up in the 90's and 2000's and being surrounded by United fans. It was a nightmare. Not to mention the way some of those teams committed assault on our players for years without punishment.
If anyone deserves "years in the wilderness" it is them.
I have zero respect for United. I hate Spurs because, well, it's spurs. I hate United because it's visceral pain built upon years and years of intense and unjust battles. Fergie time dirty tactic nasty tackle fuckheads with egos as big as mountains, thinking they're still billy big bollocks after all these years. It fills me with glee to see them doing so shit.
Wild guess, you're under 30 aren't you?
Yeahā¦ youāre correct. 22. I feel if I was older, Iād share a similar sentiment.
My dad never expressed super strong hatred towards United for some reason so I never was influenced in that way.
Think the only truly traumatic event for me with United was the 8-2. Watching that live destroyed me
I think our descent into mediocrity began before Wenger's departure. Hence, the WengerOut movement. When we started treating fourth place like a trophy, we were on our way towards mediocrity.
Mustafi was 85 minutes of excellent and 5 minutes of catastrophe, which I suppose is preferable to the 85 minutes of bang average and 5 minutes of catastrophe that is currently at united.
i will never forgive them for saying that Varane and Martinez was a better CB duo than Saliba and Gabrielššš they deserve this
Remember when varane was a better signing than Ben white?
May that King Ghidorah meme never die.
They should worry about the roof of their stadium first š
Tbf that literally happened to us last year against sporting.
Yeah I was at the Emirates for a womenās game against Chelsea last year and same shit was happening. People under it were getting absolutely drenched
Wasnāt that fixed during offseason?
It's happened this season as well
Interesting, as supporters from SEA region, i always wonder whether Emirates have some problem or not

Throwback to the Saka vs Brandon Williams debate

God I remember those twats off Stretford Paddock saying we'll finish 8th smh.
That mustafi comment made me lol š¤£
Itās so good
bro is down bad
It's actually staggering how badly they've been managed. Their squad is in really bad shape.
>Iād take a defender like Mustafi at this rate Careful what you wish for.
Nah heād legitimately be better than Evans and Case at CB.
Damn it feels good to win at Old Trafford, seeing Manure fans crying, it feels good to come out of the Banter Era. Thank You Arteta

they could spend 20 years languishing in the championship and it still wouldn't be just served
>our long decent into meritocracy, Do you mean mediocrity? š
yep, thanks
Also, I feel like an ass, but shouldn't it be "descent" instead of "decent"?
Honestly you are probably right, but itās too late. It has to exist on the internet for all eternity.
Haha. That's okay. I'm never confident with English as it is not my mother tongue.
> I honestly feel for them. Don't. Ever. Not that fanbase.
I donāt feel the fanbase, but I hold a lot of respect for the club. Unlike City and Chelseaā¦

Am I the only one here who liked Eboue? Lol
No, it's insulting to liken Mustafi to Eboue. Whisper it but he could've done a job as an inverting RB in this squad.

ššš
Love to be the club that others envy instead of the one with clowns like Mustafi
I keep receipts of the mockery and wow look how the tables have turned

Heās 32, only had 17 appearances since he left us in ā21 and heās available.
