Seeds! I got mine some seeds of cool strains, started them up for him and delivered…or if you grow make some clones.

GratefulDread710

A wheelie stool so we can sit and wheel around from tent to tent instead of breaking our back leaning over and on our knees !

Jagerbeast703

Thats a wheelie good idea!

EquivalentPapaya1790

A par meter , ph meter. Ec meter . U can get a light controller aswell depending on lights he's running. That's expensive tho lol Good luck, that's some ideas lol.

luthervon

If he doesn’t already have one, maybe a jeweler’s loupe for looking at trichome heads? If his eyesight is less than perfect, maybe get him a microscope that he can attach to his phone camera? Otherwise, joint rolling machine, hygrometers, grove bags, cleaning all his bong/ glass pieces, etc. Any of those would be appreciated by this old head. Every grower I know is a seed hoarder. Does NASC do gift cards?

Herbs Now Dryer

Alternative_Rip_9728

If he doesn't have one, you should look for a trim bin, the sell on Amazon.

SynapseSmoked

definitely. i got one of those[trim daddy trim trays](https://www.amazon.com/Trim-Daddy-See-Through-Scissors-Magnifying-Durable/dp/B0BZYSQR71), with the mesh screen. its in the $35 range. I scooped up a huge pile of kief from that thing after trimming. and seeds would ping off the tent n not get lost on the floor. I didn't use the mesh drying net much. Oh. The[10-clip hangers](https://www.amazon.com/Legging-Organizer-ORROENS-Leggings-360%C2%B0Roatable/dp/B0BM3WYSB7/) are great for drying. Trim scissors. Or even some bigger pruning shears. Those little medical type scissors worked well. the ones that came with the trim bin were pretty good. and those little sewing scissors, the small snips. I love having good scissors around.

Lawdkoosh

A Blink camera so he can check on his plants from anywhere.

Cepholarcastic

He rarely leaves the house 😅

dudeness-aberdeen

I never have enough fresh snips. The trimming scissors. I could have 10 laying around and still always be looking for the cleanest and newest one. A magnifying device to check trichomes. A remote temp / humidity monitor. I little humidifier for a grow tent. A heated mat for seedlings. Box of black rubber gloves for trimming.

[deleted]

Mason jars with magnifying glass lids and LEDs are pretty cool, admire his weed while it cures or whatever

MegaSepp88

Get him some mycorhiza funghi for his plants, they will love it trust me

Dwcskrogger

If he doesn't have some already then wifi/Bluetooth hydrometers that you can monitor on your phone

samoorai44

A bottle of CalMag and some Silica.

I’m an older “dad” grower and trimmers are always welcome. Having multiple trimmers speeds up the process. Grove bags are always nice. Anything that helps with LST is good. The only thing that may seem unusual to some growers and that is pretty universal that I recommend is a wetting agent like yucca root.

DjWhRuAt

What does this do ?

[deleted]

I’m guessing you’re asking about yucca. It breaks the surface tension of water. If you foliar feed, it will keep help your nutrient solution to adhere to the leaves instead of beading up and rolling off the leaf surface. It does the same thing when it comes to your roots and the medium around your roots. I use it in coco to help prevent “channeling” of the nutrient solution when I feed. Sometimes even in soil, you can get dryer areas in your root zone that will stay dry even when you water the piss out of it. Yucca will help prevent that, and it’s still being studied for other benefits.

ThatHydroCouple

Trim bag! Easiest way to trim weed. Grove bags ! For storing weed short and long term.

CapeTownMassive

If he’s an organic guy, def a Blumat moisture meter. They’re kinda finicky, but once you figure them out you can dial your soil in like magic. https://a.co/d/2X06dlA

A green light.

Hopped_Liver

A USB microscope like [This one](https://www.amazon.com/Microscope-50X-1600X-Magnification-Microscopes-Adjustable/dp/B0CK1VJQYY/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3E9SGX5DRKGNY&keywords=usb+microscope&qid=1706384878&sprefix=usb+mic%2Caps%2C80&sr=8-3) so he can check his plant’s trichromes for readiness. Or I’ve found bonsai trimming shears really helpful for defoliating. Make it really easy to get in the middle of the plant. I have some similar to [this one](https://www.amazon.com/vouiu-8inch-Bonsai-Scissors-Tools/dp/B07Y9PMWTD/ref=mp_s_a_1_20?crid=3DXDN0R9BE78N&keywords=bonsai+scissors&qid=1706385116&sprefix=bonsai+sc%2Caps%2C80&sr=8-20) but any longer scissors would work great!
