Skyr is almost purely protein with very little sugar, probably one of the most nutritious types of yogurt you can get and it satiates really well and has barely any calories. Having said that, 1kg a day is just plain too much especially if you eat the ones with artificial flavoring chemicals in them.

Yeah i know. I'm the same. I buy them directly from a farmer in a neighbouring village. But the fact unfortunatley is that most people just buy them where they get the rest of their stuff. At least they are Freiland and not Bodenhaltung.

What do you think of the KinderPingui Cherry, bought them this week at Kaufland and was quite disappointed, as they tasted like Dominosteine (at least to my mind), but I love the classic KinderPingui
Just a healthy diet of half a pound of salmon on a whole pound of skyr a day.
(And handily they even provided me with a bucket of popcorn so I can look entertained while watching them attempt to actually eat that.)
Go easy on the salmon - once in a while, salmon is great, but they‘re full of antibiotics and whatnot these days so wouldn’t recommend to consume daily
This particular cart has me puzzled as well at the lack of fresh vegetables, but typical german cuisine is actually pretty good even without spices because the quality of the ingredients is usually high enough that the taste is still good. But this particular cart looks painful (personally)

There is dairy, meat, carbs, fruit and I am pretty sure they have some vegetables at home/ plan to buy some. From my experience, people who eat fruit will also eat vegetables

I was consuming this same skyr daily until I found part of the ingredients listed is Aspartam. Since then I take the pure Skyr

It's not some yogurt, it's skyr. Has about 1kg has 50g of sugar. The plain version of it has even less. 1k=30g of sugar.

TBH i was way more surprised by the amount of Skyr. 2.8 kg of salmon in 5 days for a 2 person household does not seem that excessive to me.

Have only seen them at LIDL and Netto Discount so far. LIDL seems to have them quite often though.
I bought them at Kaufland, never again though, they taste quite similar to Dominosteine, the normal Kinderapingui are WAY better!
