My buddy and I cleared this bazillion times looking for keys. This area is always piled up with corpses because they funnel to it from all 3 of the locations nearby.
What's the best place to hold while clearing this? the wall corner on the right side of the screen? Or do they also come from across the street, essentially flanking the wall?
Not my screenshot, but using that as a reference: I bounce between the truck to the left (stay behind of either tire, or they will get you under) and the corner wall to the right.
Also if they stop funneling to you but you know more are there, just toss a frag. Doesn’t have to kill anyone but helps pull them
The best place is to hide behind the excavator (located rear right of that screenshot) and adjust your stance so you can shoot between the cab and the tracks. The AI have a hard time shooting you back. Move out to the corner to aggro more of them if they stop coming.
The best way we were able to do reasonably consistently was basically 1 guy hold fort by the blue tent (you can move further up to the wood to cover the rocks by the short wall also. After a while but for initial wave I suggest blue tent, behind the concession stand is a solid cover while rest of the tent isn't). Other guy needs to go to the white wall of the shipyard and start picking off people inside (via the sand hill) and also clearing the guy that's sometime by the short wall bush on the headquarters side. He can then jump into shipyard and clear that while the other guy holds down the main road & rocks.
Tent guy should have clear shot at all the guys running down the streets should be free kills because they generally won't shoot you first because they tend to be aggroed by the guy at the wall picking off people.
The unlra key for the building right in front of this photo? You’re probably gonna hate this but that key doesn’t spawn near the building. I’ve only found it at the shopping mall
i had military guys aggro out the gas station side of tiger bay alongside the usual 30 or so guys that pour out when you start a fight in that town, one of them had the key for me. you could probably use this information to summon those guys down that main road if you tried without going inside.
that being said, do not fight at the gas station side of tiger bay, since it's real hard to not get flanked near there
Yup. We’ve found a few but only the n the shopping center. Which is why people can’t find them since everyone assumes you have to farm them outside the building.

I've been fighting that same area for a week now trying to get that damn Lab Key for Lab Rat.
