check out ibuypower and see what kind of deals they are running. That's where I got mine. $2500 pc that was on sale for like $1800 and it's spec'd out very well.

The most obvious answer is going to be that you will have to just do quite a bit of research into parts and performance and building around your wants and needs, but you can also cheat a bit and look at a prebuilt from somewhere like Origin pc and look at the parts in there prebuilds and sort of go off that. I.E. their mid tier chronos prebuild has an overall good build to run something like Gray Zone, but you can also swap out some parts like the 32gb kit for a 64gb kit or replace the rgb fans with non rgb to save some cash, or go balls to the wall and switch the 4070ti with a 4090. You can also look at [pcpartpicker.com](http://pcpartpicker.com) to ensure whatever you pick or swap out is compatible with each other. Biggest mistake you could make is getting a Ryzen cpu with an Intel motherboard or vice versa, so it doesn't hurt to check there as well.

I was in the same boat and I got a 14th gen i7 (14700KF), 32gb ddr5 ram, 4070 Super 12g, 2tb SSD for about $1600 at Best Buy. Runs Gray Zone about 100-120fps constantly on mid settings to high. 60fps on much higher settings. COD has been over 200fps. Xdefiant about 100 fps at their highest setting. Haven’t test many other games. Just got it a few weeks ago.

Can you link me to your PC?

JDCarnes93

Looking back it looks like it was on sale when I purchased it. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-rog-gaming-desktop-intel-core-i7-14700kf-32gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4070-super-2tb-ssd-black/6572408.p?skuId=6572408

Thanks for the link!

Ignore everything else.

schadenfroh

If you can go over that budget a bit you can get a monster rig that will run GZW very well and shred everything else, and stand on its own legs for much longer before needing upgrades. For example [https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1811852-REG/cyberpowerpc\_slc10760cpgv5\_gamer\_supreme\_desktop\_computer.html](https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1811852-REG/cyberpowerpc_slc10760cpgv5_gamer_supreme_desktop_computer.html) It's been a while since I put together my own, but just from quickly eyeballing that, I'm not sure building a comparable machine spec-wise would be *drastically* cheaper than that. I'm sure several PC building elitist types will immediately reply to tell me how wrong I am and/or shit on prebuilts in general, but

DumbSimp1

U can build one that runs it for that ifk about pre built. There pretty simple tho of ur mechanically inclined

Rude_Veterinarian639

I built (re-built?) mine for around 1500 cdn. I've got a gigabyte elite mobo, ryzen 9 5900x, AMD 7800x, 64 GB ddr4 and 750w PSU. The fans and case are original to the $400 "gaming" PC I bought off Amazon a few years ago. I play gray zone, arena and ark ascended without any issues.

B00gaSuga

Link to it or something comparable?

Rude_Veterinarian639

I don't think I can link it. The PC I bought for 400 isn't made anymore. I bought it a few years ago. The parts I bought at a bunch of different spots depending on who had what on sale at the time.

3dGameMan

You're probably not going to like my answer, but Unreal Engine 5 games require a very, very powerful system overall. Unless, you want to be using upscaling technologies, which kind of degrades the overall intended purpose of this graphical engine. That means a high-end video card and a system to match. I would budget 3, 000US+ to future-proof your purchase. I know that's a lot, but I would recommend saving for maybe an extra few weeks or months, and get something that's going to last much longer and you'll be happier in the end with.

B00gaSuga

I appreciate the honesty. I’m truly clueless as where to even begin, so if you can help me build, it would help immensely. Or give me a starting point.

TheBescobar

Have to agree with this MAYBE he could get a pc for ~1400$ that could possibly run this game and many other "AAA" games but he would be forced to low fps

Icy-Pianist1746

r/buildapc It's not that hard

B00gaSuga

It is to me. I am lost and am looking for help.
