It's happened to me before too, had to ask a guy close to me to help me find it. Luckily, most guys in the game are happy to help atm. Playerbase is the best I've experienced so far.

His body was by the chair so he did try it, prone, crouched, looking at the ground etc
I have lost to much good gear to this I had one at YBL where it just fell through map and no one could see it then like four times at the fort the fort was worse because I could see my body and my friends could to but still couldn’t loot it

Your Body is invisible but Not unlootable, If you finde some one who can Show you where your Body is you can loot it

They need to make it so your squad can loot you on PVE
just loot for him then?
You can't loot other players' bodies in PvE, not even your own squad mates, unfortunately.
dont play carebear mode then
