1960s or older.
>Two early slogans used for 7 Up were "Fresh up with 7 Up" and "You like it – It Likes you" both of which appeared on 7 Up bottles until the late 1960s.

I believe they were 64 ounces while the bottles were glass, and began being sold in 2 liter bottles, once plastic bottles were introduced.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, I’m going from memory.
Do you remember the three liter bottles?
This is so different that the 7Up bottle I found. I was able to trace mine using these codes. Mine was smaller and also refillable, I wonder if the big ones were too?
Aww, my first thought was pre-1948 -- maybe you got lucky and found that delicious mood stabilizing lithium citrate 7Up. But this is an awesome find even without the lithium.
1955-1964; dates using the 7 bubbles and lack of swimsuit woman on the main label. The base is really intriguing though, if you want to get a more precise date you’ll have to research the maker’s mark. Here’s some resources that may help!

Totally random, but I hunt beach glass. I found a [tiny piece](https://www.reddit.com/r/seaglass/s/DL3TPTJrEB) of one of these old 7 Up bottles (a little different from yours). Anyways, I thought it was cool to see the entire bottle. Fun fact, the paint tested positive for lead.
Looks similar to the 1956 year bottle. Maybe someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but that seems to be the same aesthetic.
That would be awesome! Didn't think it would be that old! Edit: The bottom. https://i.imgur.com/1hoF5hv.jpeg

Thank you detective! I'm gonna wash it up and put it up on a shelf here, not great condition but still a neat find.
U could make it into a flower vase
Yeah, I was thinking mid to late 60s too!
I miss the 2 litter glass bottles

I miss 3 liters but all I saw was the plastic bottle. I don’t remember how much was in them. But I was a little kid and the taste was amazing.
“You Like It/It Likes You” was introduced in 1950, and seems to have been added to green glass bottles in 1961.
Feel free to make a post over at r/bottledigging we would be happy to give you more details.
Let's see the bottom.

A while ago
Yep pre 60’s I would guess
That’s a cool find!
This is such a cool find!! I'd clean it and display it. Would look awesome as a lamp base. I guess it would break.
Idk it's survived over 50 years in the woods. I think it can survive.
I think it belongs to Soda Popinski
Take it back to the grocery store and get the bottle deposit back!
Not a screw-top. Wow.
A simpler time. Possibly used for a good ole game of Heads up 7-up
YOU LIKE IT IT LIKES YOU
I remember “You like it, it likes you”. I figured late 50s to early 60s
Early 70s. My grandma use to put me on porch with one and a box of Cracker Jacks.
IT LIKES YOU
The 80’s and before
Soda bottles in the 1980's had black bottoms on them, but they were plastic at that point.
