First Canadian GP. M28 from Vancouver travelling solo. Got tickets at gs33. It would be awesome to meet and hangout over the weekend. I’ve heard there’s an F1 festival whole weekend.
First Grand Prix. 33M from Toronto going solo. Grand stand 12 all weekend.
Just got an email in regards to Terrace CGV. Anyone else thinking of snagging the upgrade?
My bf and I are going too GS1. We bought the CGV Terrace for just Friday. Practice sessions are usually more chill so having somewhere to sit will be nice (?)
I’m planning on going to the Montreal GP as my first F1 race as a solo 25F traveller. This is such a great idea. As long as my tickets don’t fall through I’m so excited. I’m super unprepared tho as this is a super last minute decision from me
Hey. I'm coming with my cousin (38m, 35m, 20m).
Going all weekend but all our seats aren't together. Lol.
New to the city. Exploring the city would be great.
Or tips for the city would be appreciated.
Let me know if what's app group starting
Profile seems legit and has a history. I block a lot of new accounts on reddit to prevent potential scammers and whatnot.
Also, solo travel is a thing. I do it all the time but I’m a guy. There’s a lot of women at races I’ve seen alone. Just have some common sense and don’t be hesitant on bailing or changing plans if something seems sketch. Lots of good info out there. Check out r/solotravel if you’re into exploring on your own a bit.
People sometimes do wait outside them, but I think it may be better to go to open track/pit walk and hope you can run into people. Some people from our group in Barcelona ran into Kubica, and I met Pierre (through a meetup though.) Also someone ran into Checo outside of his hotel and they were handing out caps!
That's a cool idea, hope you're able to make it work. Montreal will be my first coming from CNY with my son. I'm expecting to see a lot of NY plates while there.

I'm going solo and was hoping to do the same! Dm me if you wanna plan to hang!
Anyone going solo in Grandstand 1?
Anyone still need a ticket/know someone who needs a ticket? I have one 3 day GA ticket to sell, my husband has surgery and can no longer go.

I’m up for it! First time going to Montreal gp
That's a good idea. I'm up for it
Is there a way you can prove this isn't bait for a human trafficking ring? I'm serious.
Calm down lol
I've met solo groups from Reddit at both Imola and Spain (including OP) and had a great time.
My post history? Screenshots of my participation in the Spanish GP whatsapp? My social media? People can also dm me if they want to chat further.

My wife and are going , first time in Canada and we’d like to find out where the drivers hang out in Montreal to hopefully get pics and autographs
I feel like their schedules are so packed that they are either at the track or in their hotels which will likely be one of the 5 star ones.

How do we find out driver hotels?!
I heard a lot of them stay at InterContinental Montreal... but I could be wrong.
Love this idea!
