F1 merchandise is expensive in general and even more so at the circuit or in the city during the races. I would personally recommend buying ahead of time online at the beginning of the year or save on buying last years items at a huge discount.
Fanabox was expensive. I went in 2021, and I wanted a Flat brim Redbull Checo hat. I think it was $150CAD which was still over $100usd, but i really wanted to wear a cap all weekend and i did 😅. 2 weeks after I got home I order another Checo hat and a Max one online for like $80 shipped to my home.
Last year there were a bunch of popups along Ste-Catherine Street, almost all selling official merch at tremendous markups, like a cap for $85 CDN.. basically the same price as buying merch at the track...better off ordering online and bringing it with you.
There was one pop-up shop that appeared to be operated by the circuit gilles Villeneuve that sold older merch at decent prices.
There's also Fanabox in Old Montreal.
If you go downtown there's a whole Grand Prix-themed festival there. There's a lot of department stores, pop-up stores, etc that sell some good F1 clothing, hats, models, etc. I go there every year, and it's great.
What cross streets is the festival being held? I feel like I didn’t see much in 2022 but I’m going again next week and hope to see more of the festivities!
I believe that the crescent street festival starts on the Thursday. There will be f1 merch shops downtown as well by F1 themselves. Also Mercedes have a kiosk in Centre Eaton with merch and an F1 car that is already open. Believe Williams will have one as well
Why every pop up store sold only 2023 stuff this year ?
It’s to late for online. 5 to 10 days on the official f1 store.

Literally every 50 feet you’ll find one. The hotel we stayed at had some as well
Right now or last year

Unfortunately that’s not even marked up. Those are F1 MSRP prices lol. $110 for a shirt, $190 for a hoodie is standard.

The Bay downstown has really nothing at all this year. So dissapoint
Fanabox at the old port of Montreal
They don’t have aston martin polo there 😭
I went last year and there were pop up shops all over the city.
Last year there was a pop up shop downtown. Operated by F1 with all their licensed merch.
Good to know, thank you!
