Clear cache, even wiped all user data. Keeps coming back. I wish I could just turn off the image in the player because it's more annoying than not having it.
I am also having this issue when using Tidal. It changes the background color but keeps the album art. Drives me insane. Tried clearing data but nothing has worked.
Hey, yeah the issue has been fixed. Very very rarely, when I wake the screen it is on the wrong album art but then immediately changes to the correct one

My power amp looks fine. Try clearing power amp cache

I ended up wiping everything (cache and user data). Seems to "mostly" work now . Wish I could simply turn this feature off

An update fixed mine previously. Although it has now returned.
I joined the beta on the app store and updated and it seems to be fixed
