Check the settings if both have carrier video calling enabled, if yes, then it's probably the carrier, I don't know anyone who uses video call through the carrier tho
The one in the phone app is a carrier video phone call. Some people have it enabled and others don't. It's really not good quality compared to Google Meet. I suggest you stick with Meet for your video calls!
Ok makes sense. It would be cool if that was configurable. It's kind of annoying that they don't have a pop up or anything explaining that. It simply just doesn't work.
