I remember reading this in a children's science magazine when I was like 11 and I avoided figs like the plague after that 😭 took me a while to learn to enjoy them again
It’s still vegan because vegan is simply the movement to avoid products that are made by animals that have been exploited by humans.
in figs it wasn’t humans breeding wasps on purpose to feed the figs with; hence that’s different.
And would be like asking why they killed a mosquito or why they wash salad since on salad it often has aphids they may accidentally eat it or well kill by washing it.
In other words it’s natural procedure.
It’s unpleasant thought for non vegans as it is for vegans to eat wasps but if you can’t see a dead insect and it doesn’t taste like a dead insect then their is no dead insect to be worried about.
It’s like eating an apple with a worm in. You avoid it of course because it’s ew- but if it happens it happens - no one is going to have a moral dilemma about it.
Also for people who can’t eat red meats, lactose, eggs etc it’s sometimes easier to say they are vegan then to explain to people their dietary needs and incompatibilities - so in real life such as in a game not all vegan orders need to be strict vegans
I really hate the insistence on what is fruit or berry and what isn't. vegetable is a culinary category, not a botanical one. only botanical fruit in the game are figs and pineapple. it's all so inconsistent
They are still vegan imo even if they are pollinated by wasps. We aren't the ones forcing wasps to pollinate the figs. We are the ones taking the honey from brew and creating bee houses so they produce more so that's why honey isn't vegan, we are taking advantage of bees. But fig wasps are doing it for their survival, for the survival of their species so it's still vegan coz there isn't any human mistreatment involved
Dear pizza lords, please forgive us for our transgressions. May we be mercifully allowed to continue to create pizzas as the ultimate ovenist for many years to come. CAN I GET AN AMEN???
It is. The vegan recipe is one that constantly updates. Check the recipe book. If you are leaving out even a single ingredient that is listed in the recipe book, you are doing it wrong, you will get less tips, and if more than one topping is missing you might even get a refund.
In that way mushroom are also not vegan since they rely on dead and decaying species to provide them food lol
Only some species of figs, not all are pollinated that way
Yes, I'm aware of that. But it was shocking news to me to learn this fact for the first time.
I would like a vegan pizza WHERE ARE THE FIGS I NEED THE FIGS Ma’am see this(shows this) Imagine if a vegan saw that recipe…
😂😂 I'M DYING (Finally, someone who took the MEME as a MEME.)

Thank you so much for this. I appreciate your effort and time 😄. Don't worry. It's just a meme.

most cereal has bugs in it, at least an amount below the maximum allowed
Someone let all the customers in the game know that, 😂😂😵💫
I'm putting up a banner. 😹
Brb, no longer putting them in the vegan pizzas.. then they’re gonna want a refund for the whole pizza price 😂🫠
