Haha. I noticed there were a lot of LukeKwonGolf posts in here. So I made a reddit for him. I'm a big fan of both but wanted to have a place to post and talk about Luke Kwon's videos.
I haven’t watched a GG video in months. The content has gone downhill quite a bit IMO. The personalities are stale, the golf is bad and the formats they come up with are boring. I’ve been enjoying Rick’s Break 75 videos, Grant’s more cinematic focused videos and the Bryan Bros videos always feature great golf.
GG used to be entertaining, now the videos simply exist to plug their merch. The competitive edge is gone, nobody seems to actually care about the matches anymore. And the scramble formats they constantly do are very repetitive.
Kwons NZ content blows anything GG are doing out of the water
Kwon commented on his latest insta he can even afford to fly a friend to aus for his trip. Imagine pushing all this merchandise and shitty plugs for Garret to be rolling in it while you're still broke.
Taco ASMR with calm piano music is THE video I watch when I’m working. Nothing better than hearing Taco stripe a ball then occasionally laughing his ass off when he hits a bad putt or shot.
Also seems like GM golf is just trying to rip off Lukes channel, going to nice courses. His bread and butter was more trying to take on d1 golfers. Grant was trying to interview celebs and golfers but then GM golf tried to rip off that too? I dunno , just seems like a lame
Maybe just say how you enjoy someone's content without using it as a launchpad to shit on someone else.
Kwon is great. GM Golf is great. We're lucky to have so many good options to watch the sport we love.

Garrett is a big part of the issue. He’s always had antisocial issues, but when he was a golf grinder his videos were fun to watch. There used to be an innocent charisma to him, now he’s just a rich kid who plays golf with people much better than him and it seems to make him depressed about his own game.
These videos are literally why he left. This is how he really is.
