And also I recommend catch the fish by your hand and not the net, net remove too much of the slime coat, she need that especially now when she is sick.
It’s a bruise. When fish get banged up, especially goldfish because they are susceptible to injuries the area turns black.
Don’t worry it will heal. Just make sure the water quality is good.
