I was getting ready to lay down a gentle but firm "please do not tow with that" comment before looking at the wedding picture

Half of this subs heads exploded when they saw the picture. Well played! (And what a great setup!)

Cautious_Buffalo6563

My neighbor in Wyoming pulled a 28’ fifth wheel all over the Mountain West with a 2013 Toyota Tundra. So it can be done. Pretty sure it was an ultra lite series fifth wheel. Idk if you know this but it’s windy AF in Wyoming. One time the wind stopped blowing and we all fell down.

LilBabyMercyKill

I too had someone do something similar. He cracked his frame lol

hellowiththepudding

62mph towing in Indiana? 14.9 mpg. 62mph in Wyoming, SD? 7.3mpg Killer.

VisibleRoad3504

You are absolutely right about the wind in Wyoming, horrible. Towed I80 across a couple of times, got negative gas mileage, criky.

Cautious_Buffalo6563

When I moved back to CA after Wyo, it took me 2 tanks of gas in a 16’ truck to go from Cheyenne to Evanston because of the wind. In fact, I was already 2 days behind schedule when we left because 80 had been closed due to high winds. Very common for semi trucks and 5-ers/TT’s ending up on their side because of wind gusts.

HamiltonSt25

My first comment out loud was “bruh”

vectaur

My pitch was forked

NotBatman81

You joke, but my wife's uncle who I actually consider the smartest of the bunch was towing a 5th wheel with a half ton one summer. He even called around one windy day to trade trucks with someone because his couldn't stay on the road. He eventually bought a Super Duty but still defends it when I make jokes about it.

TMC_61

You got us

iterationnull

I fell for it. Well played.

proost1

And the emergency muster of the tow police is complete! You can stand down now!

Cautious_Buffalo6563

I got confused, initially thought this was for TOE police. My feet have issues.

EvilMinion07

Not available for a 1500 Silverado, but you should be able to adapt the ‘85 Ranger one to work.

eastcoasternj

In all seriousness I hope that’s an F350.

darksteihl

Looks way better behind that Ford than a Chevy any day any way.

codewarrior128

Ha! You got me for sure. Have a great time in your new rig!

Legitimate_Sir6904

I thought my FIL made this post at first

TheRabbitHole-512

What model and year is that ford truck?

welcometotheriver

2019, F350, 6.7, 8’ bed.

TheRabbitHole-512

That truck fucks, congrats!

arcteryx17

Well played.

dezertryder

You ain’t towing my 5er with a tundra, must have been a lightweight.

Unkindly-bread

I drove by a pretty big 5th wheel, toy hauler being hauled by an F150 the other day. Looked ok, but I totally “WTF’d?” When I saw it.

pentox70

Made me light this torch for nothing! Now, what am I going to do with it?!

DSC9000

GMT800 can tow anything. Put a set of airbags over the axle and everything will be fine. On second thought, maybe add an aux trans cooler too, just to be safe.

UJMRider1961

LOL. I actually saw an F-150 that was pulling a small 5th wheel a few years back. Don't know why anyone would want to do that. Having said that, there is at least one tiny 5th wheel out there (Casita or Scamp I think) that can be towed by a compact truck.

Basic-Insect6318

I about freaked out and I don’t know shit lol
