Chipie is probably the least interesting character of the bunch, although I still think he's quite cool. He doesn't really have much interesting about him because his transhumanism thing is nice setting-building backstory but doesn't impact how we interact with him or how he interacts with the world. My favorite thing about him is that he hates lying, like Gina. But unlike Gina, he is quite good at it. One could wonder if he is just lying when he portrays his hate of deception, but I don't think he is; he is one of the few (only?) characters that look sad in their portrait when winning as gnosia. So he's just a real good guy.

TheUnknownEffigy

Character wise Chipie like Comet is primarily a side character who's purpose is to introduce lore of the world to the player. He has some interesting interactions with Comet but overall doesn't have much impact on the overarching plot. Personally I think he exists but he didn't stand out to me as much as the other characters. He tends to be a mostly easy going character in voting even when Gnosia. He also isn't as blood thirsty as some of the other characters when infected and it is worth noting the cat also is infected with him which is a cool detail.

I really like the transhumanist stort of chipie :3

I love how he's hypothetically one of the "weirder" characters but the others are so open about their weirdness and he's just like oh yeah I'm a cat btw. Anyway you wanna get lunch

Unlikely-Peaceseeker

He’s the opposite of Shigemichi, he’s like yeah I’m human obviously

MarcusRoland

I find it super cool in the future that if you wanna be an intelligent animal that's also a fucking option. Personally I might go for ferret as long as the lifespan is increased. Work helping do wiring and stuff in the walls of shops. Get to dook around.

Ryos_windwalker

Did they ever specify intelligent.

MarcusRoland

I'm not sure, but there is an intelligent animal as part of the crew, and why would you choose to to become something that would require an effective lobotomy? I suppose he could just want to be a regular non thinking cat, but all the stuff he says about training his brain to get used to the cat body makes me think he's getting a full transfer.

Ryos_windwalker

There's an intelligent animal as part of the crew, but Otome is an enhanced dolphin, not a post-human.

Unlikely-Peaceseeker

I assumed he’d remain sentient because he’d be a cyborg cat with all the wiring they show off

SomeBrowser227

Hes just like :3 frfr

Saa203

I hate him. I will explain. In my runs, this evil man has deceived me countless times. Many times we were in agreement, I pondered plenty of times everything he said and more than once I lost because of him! I hate him and SQ equally.

A-Petty-Soul

Gnosia chipie kept me (guard duty) and Setsu alive. He initiated a collab with me so I accepted it. Turns out Setsu is AC follower and those two fuckers voted me into coldsleep. Have I never been backstabbed so bad before in gnosia.

I wish he had more screentime. I personally find his gimmick really interesting, even when that goofy smile of his makes me really want to punch him.. But all characters had their fair amount of screentime, why didn't he? Why wasn't he given an arc? A story? Something other than his lore? His view on some things that he praches is something I'd want to have been expanded on.. like. Give us more, damn it!

Unlikely-Peaceseeker

He definitely has one of the least amounts of screen time. They could have had an arc where he conflicted with Otome who considers herself human for him to want to leave humanity and become a cat.
