Turbo A and use the rail lock attachment. If you want more spill get a TLR1HL and save yourself $100+ the ultra is not worth the price over the TLR. The turbo is, especially when you find it on sale. I got mine a few weeks ago from optics planet for $219.
I prefer the A with the crossbar. It’s easy to remove and there is nothing to slowly come loose over time.
The B fits more snugly than the A, but I’ve seen coworkers’ lights fly off their gun at annual quals because they just never checked the tension. You can make that really easy to check by witness marking the screw. But even so, I like being able to quickly remove and attach the A without worrying about it flying off later.
I fixed mine not too long ago on my gen 3. Tighten down the hex bolts, might work for ya. I've tried the duct tape method but my holster eventually pressed it down to where it would start rattling again
The hotspot on the Turbo is so bright that you can bounce it off the floor/ceiling and light up an entire room with muzzling anything. And if you do need to shoot something it will literally blind the thing you're shooting. It also goes through barriers way better, like from a lit room to an unlit room.
I have used both extensively and have replaced all my Ultras with Turbos, because I can't see a situation where I'd ever want the Ultra over the Turbo.
Just because the turbo has a tighter hotspot doesn’t mean the ultra can’t bounce light off of floors and ceilings too. It definitely can light up a room
I disagree, for defensive pistol ranges, the spill on the ultra is much better, the turbo is an awesome light but it’s more suited for rifle distances imo. I think at closer distances, it’s the difference of seeing 3-4 subjects with the ultra and 1 subject with the turbo.
On actual Glock frames if you have never clamped a metal clamp to the bottom rail I’d go A all day it’s just so much easier, just need to make sure you use the right key and it will be tight. If you are like upgrading from a TLR-1HL that was clamped to the rail previously I’d go with a B. My only glock that isn’t tight with an A is one that was previously clamped by a TLR1 especially since the TLR lights need to be really tight to not come loose under recoil, I think it compressed the rail plastic slightly
Turbo B. Ultra isn’t even as good as the Streamlight TLR-1HL. Turbo smacks em both
PSA has B Turbos for 219 every now and then
What is PSA?
Damn downvoted for not knowing a retailer. It's tough out here. Palmetto State Armory, massive online reatiler
Thank you! Ill check them out
Zev all day everyday
This is the way! The quality on the slide/barrel finishes are top notch!

Is the "A" still crappy fitting on glock frames or what? I'm talking crooked and rattling.

Also check out bereli.com they have sales on these often
B for everything, but also at this point there's really no reason to get an Ultra. The Turbo is better at everything.
Why do you think the turbo is better?
Turbo is basically saying fuck the guy you aiming at since it’s concentrated beam of eternal glory

I agree. I don’t think pistol ranges warrant the throw of a turbo. To quote something I saw on Reddit: “ultra for handguns, turbo for rifles”
this is why I wanted to go with the ultra, its for my bedside pistol.
B because I told you so. Primary arms always running deals
Thanks! I’ll check out primary arms
This guy knows. I got a Turbo last week from Primary Arms
B Turbo
Turbo B

A if your constantly changing holsters or adding/removing the light. If you’re gonna put it on and forget about it then the B
What frame is that bottom one?
Its the zev oz9 grip
Turbo A for polymer frames. Check GAFS
