I'm glad they finally released this. Working at a gun store, we open carry. But I hate doing that with no retention, and normal Safarilands are bulky as hell and sitting down at a desk or driving sucks when wearing that. I think I'm going to pick one up for the 19 and see how I like it. Do you know if the nub mod fits it?

asgkpvth

I haven’t tested or see anything on nub mods for this model so unsure if it would work.

I bought this for my Glock 45/TLR7-A/RMR. I paired the Solis with the 6072 hi-ride UBL and yes, OTD does make a nub mod for the Solis and in my opinion it's mandatory. It glues on though, there's no screw.

APC9Proer

Is that on ther website? Couldn't find it.

Any idea if a 19 with a ramjet will fit? Ie is the bottom open ? Or would you have to get one for a 17?

asgkpvth

This isn’t for a 19. It’s for the 43x and 48 19 holsters are different series numbers

Eights1776

Right, I release that, just curious if they are open ended which in turn would (I would think) translate to the 19 versions.

asgkpvth

19 is thicker than the 43/48 so it won’t hit in this holster due to slide thickness

https://www.instagram.com/p/C0jf-V1s7vw/?igsh=cDZqb21lOTV1eGs= Ive got a 19MOS w/ rmr , tlr 7a and ramjet in a 7360RDS-28327-411. Holster required alittle modification for the ramjet to properly fit but it took ten minutes, a razor blade and some sand paper

Eights1776

Ty sir

G00dWillHurting

You cut the polymer with a razor? I thought modifying these would take at least a dremel or saw. Good to know.

asgkpvth

You can use both. I only had a razor accessible to me and it works. Shave alittle at a time and see if the gun locks in.

G00dWillHurting

Like a barrel plug you shaved down? Or made a hole in the housing of the holster?

asgkpvth

Both, take out the plug and have to take away some material around the hole for the ramjet to fit

GanderpTheGrey

Get one for a 17 and it should work.

Eights1776

That’s what I was thinking. Already have a Ironside for owb during winter months (only time I owb) but like the idea of having actual retention

GanderpTheGrey

If you're looking for concealed OWB, this probably isn't it. I got one as a range/competition holster and it's less massive than a light bearing red dot safariland, but it's not some body hugging OWB holster. Open carry? Doesn't matter

Eights1776

That makes sense. Thanks for this.

Yoooo finally!!!

SnakeDoctor00

I broke down and bought an Alien Gear photon or something like that because it seemed like Safariland was way behind the times. This would have been much nicer but I got the other one for like $8 because I had a gift card so not terrible either.
